Vans High Top Old Skool - Really comfortable, just as expected.

for playas only - Nice retro kicks, lovin' them, they're hella comfortable too... and really, you can't fade the pink and blue flower print...for sizing, I'd suggest trying out any pair of vans at your local shop, then go buy that.

The best! There's no school like the old school! I wore this style while skating back in the 80's and am wearing them again. They're awesome! I will buy Vans classics until they're no longer manufactured.

Vans sk8-Hi's - These are a great skate shoe. If you like the feel of high top's you will like these shoes. Some modles of the shoe may take awhile to "break in", but after that they are very comfertable. Overall a great Comfort, Quality and it sticks you to the board well.

I bought these Van's Sk8-Hi in the Black/Mosaic Blue for my boyfriend and he just LOVES these high tops. And, I must say these are a very cool looking high top and are pretty 'cute', too. Old Skool meets modern in this classic high top. We love the contrasting blue stripe on the white rubber, the blue inside around the ankle as well as the blue waffle weave bottom. Very COOL and comfortable, too! Thank you Zappos for your EXCELLENT service! :)

The One True Hi-Top - The Van's SK8-Hi are the true old-school hi-top. They don't have great arch support so I put a thin insert in them, but other than that, they are comfy and stylish, and last a long time. I wore my last pair for 9 years. Fast shipping from Zappos made the purchase a breeze.

Christmas gift for my husband - This shoe is one of the best shoes ever made! Not only does it look cool but it has great comfort. I bought the shoes as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loved them.

Coolest shoes ever! If you like high tops and you like that old-school skater look then these are for you. I used to wear these in high school and I'm 33 now and I still think they are one of the all time coolest shoes. They take a couple of weeks to break in but after that, they are very comfortable. I love mine.

Classic Shoe! Along with the classic Converse Chuck Taylor high tops, the Vans SK8-Hi are incredible. I'm 31 years old now and I have found that the recent crop of Nike, Reebok, and Adidas just don't speak to me anymore. I'm not interested in the latest moonboot or LeBron James or Allen Iverson "inspired" shoe. I want something that looks relevant, but not reaching. That is where Vans and Converse come in. I used to skate back in the day and this shoe brings back some good memories. The style is very similar to that of the "Chuck" but the ankle support is stronger and the shoe is a bit heavier, but not burdensome. The only downside is that the upper portion of the shoe rubs my ankle a bit at times, but that is negligible. The stiching is solid and the shoe just has a good overall feel. Do yourself a favor and pick up some Vans, any style, I don't believe you'll be dissapointed.

Old School Vans still rock! If you already know what old-school vans are, then you need not read any further. They still kick ass. If you are new to this shoe, then read on. This shoe is a classic. There are no "gel" or "air" hop-ups or any hocus-pocus that eventually wears out. They left off all the hype of which skater has a signature on it. These shoes have a feel similar to Converse Chucks. Not much in the way of support, but who the hell runs marathons in skate shoes? I like them because the sole is completely flat and I can feel the skateboard under my feet better. Also, after numerous "shark bites" (skateboard flys down ramp and cracks you in the ankle), I enjoy the added protection of the hi-top. If you are into street skating with lots of flip-tricks where you must roll your ankles, then I don't recommend this shoe. If you skate ramps and want a good shoe that lasts, then look no further.

Vans Sk8 High Tops - Vintage Vans, these rides were popular in the 80's with the skateboard scene. Of course back then, this type of style could be customized in any combination of color to meet your personal preference. If you were lucky they will resume this old school type of customizing. If you like these, check out the "Old Skool" style also offered by Vans.

Oldskool hi-tops - I`ve been wearing this style of vans for 12 years now and they still kick-a#@. Best shoe money can buy and last forever. If you are a parent, these are hand-me-down shoes.

Love these shoes. Not the easiest to get on and off, but that's the deal with high tops. I added a heel and arch support which makes them my favorite sneakers to wear.

My son loves these shoes. He has extra wide feet but we ordered up a size and they fit fine. The only negative comment is that the red bled on his laces early on and now they’re pink. They didn’t even get wet.

Just got my first pair of high-tops in quite some time. I agree with another reviewer who cautioned lacing details. Compared to the shoes I normally wear, these require extra time to put on and take off. I wear arch support in most shoes including these. I like the style and so does my wife.

The shoe top is lower and the shoe is wider than it looks in the photo. They fit a half size up. Quite comfortable. Overall they are nice shoes and quite stylish.

I\'ve been wearing these hi-tops since I was in high school. They are still the coolest looking skate shoe. But probably not the most comfortable.
