Great Shoe - I have very small feet and narrow arches. This is the first shoe in 20 years that actually fits. As a result arthritic ankles are more comfortable, which enables me to exercise longer and I am getting some strength back. Excellent product. Thanks! GD

Love 'em To Death - I love, love, love these shoes. I don't know what I'll do if Brooks stops making them. I am a nurse who pounds the concrete for 12-13 hours at a time. No break-in period, great stability, unbeatable cushioning, and very professional looking. This was probably the tenth pair of these that I have ordered over the past three years. I recommend them to everyone who complains that their feet hurt.

Best Shoe I have ever worn! I bought my first pair of Addiction Walkers exactly two years ago, in May, 2005. I have worn either the black or brown pair every day until recently when I have tried experimenting with different brands, trying to find something fresh for my wardrobe. Alas, I have come to the conclusion after trying at least a dozen showed from Zappos that the best shoe for my feet is the Addiction Walker. They have the best arch support I have found in any shoe, the insole does not create a hump where your toes attach to your forefoot as in most shoes with a soft insole. These shoes have a perfect heel support, and do not slide on the heel. I have no complaints other than I wish they came in more colors. If you haven't tried Addiction Walkers, you have got to do so. I frequently think to myself as I am walking, wow, what a perfect pair of shoes.

Great Shoes! I have PF, and needed a good, supportive walking shoe that didn't hurt my feet. This shoe fills the bill, and more. I had tried the New Balance 926 - they were very comfy and cushy, but the heel slipped, so back they went. These shoes have no heel slippage problem, and can accommodate orthotics fine. I highly recommend them for anyone with foot problems. And of course, Zappos deserves five stars for speed of delivery and great customer service!

Great Shoe! This is the second time I bought this shoe in the last 2yrs. They are great for work if you need something black, somewhat dressy ,and comfortable.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY! I purchased these shoes for my husband. They were recommended to him by his foot doctor and he is able to put them on and wear them 12-16 hours if necessary without problems. Usually, his feet hurt after about 2 hours in any shoes but he loves these and has owned about multiple pairs over the years. A definite 5 star shoe!

Worked out great - Great shoes really comfortable, fast ...lightning fast delivery. Zappos rocks the online shoe industry. Customer service is impeccable. That’s my personal experience and no I don't work for them or own stock in the company.

Good Solid Shoe - I am a BIG guy. I walk a lot and work trade shows quite often. My favorite shoe has always been Rockport. This shoe is almost as comfortable - a little heavier - but GREAT for long periods on your feet. I highly recommend this shoe.

Very impressed - Just went for a nice walk with the dog on a very muddy, slightly icy, slushy, nasty trail. I was careful, and the shoes survived (and I did too). There were several unexpected slips on mud where I lost my footing, but I never lost my balance, and the traction going up and down hills on a sort of melting ice/snow thing was very confidence inspiring. With these shoes, it feels like you're sort of on the ball of your foot (or something like that), so this type of situation is very nice for keeping your balance and getting a good grip in weird situations. However, the trail was only minor part of the very long dog walk, the majority was asphalt and dirt roads and sidewalks, and, of course, these shoes excel there, whereas mud boots or other boots would not. Based on my experience today, this shoe seems to be sort of an SUV of shoes, or something like that. The heel/sole is thick, so water and mud don't get on the body of the shoe. My feet were perfectly dry. They are perhaps just ever so slightly narrow/small, but not more than by perhaps 1/4 of a size.

Brook's Addiction Walker is comfortable - I use the Walker for work. I find them to be very comfortable all day. I'd like to start a walking program, so I think these will be a perfect shoe. I don't think they look that terrific, but they're dark enough that you really don't notice their style.

Luv em - This is the 4th time I have ordered the Brooks Addiction Walkers and I cannot believe the service. Ordered on Friday, received on Monday! They are an excellent shoe.

I have had these shoes for 2-3 weeks... wear them daily in auto service department...on concrete floors for 10 hours a day ...great for the feet...

Brooks Addiction Walker - This is a great shoe. Thought I was getting the same one I ordered 3 years ago, but this model is an improvement on the old shoe. Worn almost daily and still in good condition. The Addiction is a dressier shoe than the similar model that has been my "main shoe" these past 3 years. Fit is good, insole excellent, and no break in needed... it just rocks.

Great Walking Shoe - This is a great walking shoe with plenty of support. I have very flat feet and my feet hurt when I have been on them for any length of time, but this shoe allows me to go on long walks. I have both the black and the brown. Please take note that the brown is VERY dark - almost black. In fact, I keep the 2 pairs separate so I do not accidentally wear one of each. I recommend this shoe.

Happy with first order - It was a joy to find a supplier for these shoes without waiting weeks to enjoy them. The order was here within a couple of days. What a pure joy it was to deal with your company plus save money, which is always a plus.

B. Lawrence - What a great shoe! My feet are very difficult to fit. After 15 pairs of 'walking shoes' I found the one for me. Put them on the first day and walked for 7 hours around Animal Kingdom in Florida with out a problem!!!!!!!!! These shoes required no 'break-in time'. My more than a week long vacation was made enjoyable because of these shoes -- they've traveled many miles all ready! Can not wait to hit the sidewalks when the weather breaks! Haven't felt that way in years! Thank you Zappos. Just wish you had more shoes in the women's size 13 range in the 3 and 4 wide. Keep up the good work!

Brooks the best for wide feet - If you have a wide foot like I do, you cannot go wrong with Brooks! Not only is the shoe comfortable wide but the arch support better than I have ever had. I will never go back to another shoe, just as I will never buy anywhere else other than Zappos as I was able to pick up two pairs of Brook's shoes for what I would pay for 1.5 pairs at a shoe store.

Great, comfy shoes if you like comfort of sneakers for every - Great, comfy shoes if you like comfort of sneakers for everyday use.

Comfort and support for a long walk - Drier and warmer than a Brooks mesh cross-trainer, which is also excellent for walking.

Brooks Addiction Walker - This is a really nice shoe. I bought it because I have a plantar fascia problem and have to wear orthotics. They fit in the shoe perfectly and comfortably with no rubbing on my heel. No return of the fascia problem either. The only problem is the ball of my foot gets a little sore with heavy walking, but the shoe is only a week old. Still, I was very pleased. Incidentally, Zappos was great. Two returns with no problems before I bought these.

An equal to Brooks Synergy 2 - I have worn Synergy 2 shoes for years to help with my problem of metarsalgia near the ball of my foot. With the insertion of orthotics and the support received from the shoe I was able to walk 5 miles or better without pain. In switching to Brooks Addiction I was apprehensive about its performance however having worn the shoe for 1 month I am thoroughly pleased in its performance.

Wife is right again! After a little bit of nagging my husband “allowed” me to order the Brooks Walkers for him, and now he's as happy as I am. We love Zappos!!!

I bought 2 pairs of walking sneakers, the Brooks Addiction and the New Balance 843. I’m keeping the Brooks because they feel just great on my feet. The New Balance didn’t feel very comfortable and they were too tight. Both were 14-4W.
