An Absolutely Positively Great Addiction(walker that is) This is a GREAT shoe.I work for Federal Express as a courier and really punish my feet! They dont crimp your feet. If you have bunions they give you room where you need it. The most comfortable walkers I have ever owned. New Balance, Nike, Ecco...none gave me the ride these shoes do!Plus they don't weigh your feet down. The soles also have good traction on wet surfaces. I plan on purchasing another pair for backups. Well worth the money!

Great Shoes - I work on concrete 12-14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. I have the Asics Gel Foundation PLUS and wanted something different. I rotate my Asics and my Brooks Addiction Walkers every day. I really like the Brooks. They have a little more support than my Asics. This is my first pair of Brooks, I will buy more!!!

Best Walking Shoe Made - This is the best walking shoe I have ever used. The fit and comfort are incredable.

Satisfied again - I can't say enough about these shoes. I bought a pair of white Addiction Walkers for a Disney World vacation and they were very comfortable with excellent support. So, I bought a brown pair to wear to work. I am a school teacher and on my feet all day long. My feet are never sore any more. I don't know how they do it but I know they work for me. As far as Zappos is concerned, I ordered the shoes about 6:30 on a Wednesday evening and they arrived the next day around noon. This was my third purchase from Zappos. I have never had to return anything but it takes many companies that long just to notify you they have received your order. The only problem with service that fast is the tracking number doesn't do much good. The shoes are in your hands almost before the tracking number. Outstanding service. I don't think I will ever buy shoes from a brick and mortar store again. Zappos gets 5 stars too!!

Great Comfort and Support - Excellent fit and comfort! This shoe is soft, yet very supportive of the foot. The soles of this shoe is one of the best I have felt; you do feel the energy returning back to your step as you walk. One of those very rare shoes that felt great right out of the box!!!!! I am an ER doctor with long hours on my feet constantly walking and am enjoying them immensely. Great buy; recommend highly!

My shoes - They are the best walking shoes I have bought in the last ten years.

Excellent comfort - Is the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever purchased. I am a diabetic and comfortable shoes are a must. I plan to purchase an additional pair.

Better than New Balance - I have been a New Balance lover for years. All of my previous walking shoes have been NB. However I needed something sturdier for my flat feet and that held my orthotics... These are sturdy shoes and felt heavy when I first put them on but once I got used to them they were great. They run SMALL so I had to get the men’s shoe and go a size and half larger for them to feel comfortable. If you don’t wear orthotics maybe you can go one size up. It’s a good sturdy shoe and they don’t cost as much as NBs either

Brooks Walking shoes - solid, light, and comfortable - I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur; Brooks shoes have been the best for me. This shoe, in particular, accepts orthotic inserts well and provides a solid, flat, stable foundation. Nice enough to wear with a nice pair of Dockers, too. The people at Zappos are just fantastic...best customer service anywhere, Johnny on the Spot when you've got a problem, too!

I love my Brooks sneakers. I have trouble finding comfortable sneakers because of my wide foot and Brooks work every time.

Good Shoe Overall - I like the walking comfort of this shoe. It's not exactly the most stylish shoe, but if you do a lot of walking (and your feet are shaped like mine) this will be a reliable shoe for you.

Good Work Shoes - I stand for my entire shift at work. I need a comfortable and supportive shoe. My feet were very sore from the shoes I had been wearing. These shoes have proven to be very good in providing sufficient support. My feet are no longer sore at the end of my shift. (I installed additional gel supports, but I always do that with my shoes). I did have to exchange them for a 1/2 size larger, and one width wider than I usually wear.

Good look for a dressier tennis shoe - I have arthritis in my feet and wanted a tennis shoe that wasn't white. I put my orthotics in them. This shoe works out fine for that.

Nothing too special but a good shoe. The shoe is extremely light and could almost qualify for a running shoe and though it was comfortable I did have trouble with the tongue rubbing my foot wrong and had to stop wearing them for a few days. I'm sure as they wear the comfort level will increase but for now I will only rate them a 4.

Good All Day Wear Shoe - This is the most comfortable All-Day Wear Shoe I have been able to find. I suffer from Plantar F and wear an orthotic in my shoes. This is the only shoe I can wear all day with just very minimal heal pain. I would like it better if it had a little more arch support.

Comfy shoes--Comfy Price! This is a great shoe. I have worn Brooks Addiction's for a number of years, but these are the best yet. I Highly Recommend!

Better than the others I have tried - This shoe is proving to be better than it looks. I use an ortho insert Dynastep in it and it has enough room. The other reviewers were right, the shoe does wear about 1/2 size small on the length. I have had foot problems for years from being in the restaurant business and now in retail walking on concrete at Lowe's everyday. The shoe is not the most beautiful one but it more than makes up for it in comfort and that can be more important when you are on your feet for 12 hours a day.

Brooks Addiction Walker - Very comfortable for my wide foot. I have bought this model several times in the past and it has held up very well under heavy use.

Here we go again. Having a long (size 13) narrow foot presents a challenge when ordering shoes. I generally find that shoes marked as narrow (B or C) simply look and feel wide. It is subjective granted but foot movement isn't. This shoe suffers from the same problem. I also use an orthodic which works well in this shoe but probably compounds the movement problem. Shoe is comfortable enough to work and I will wear. Just not great.

My second favorite shoe - I bought this shoe because it was available in black and because the Brooks Addiction 6 shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. This shoe is not quite as comfortable but is still worth considering. I stand all day for 10 to 12 hours at work and have never found comfortable shoes until now.

The shoes are made very well. Comfort or appearance are satisfactory and compared to other makes that I had and I have, I must say that New Balance same category shoe is much lighter in weight. I have big foot and very wide and I am sure smaller sizes will bring more satisfaction.

Walkers - Very comfortable if the right size is chosen--good support and great service.

Good shoe - I wear a 12A dress shoe, but these felt just fine when first put on and still do. I've had flat feet my entire life, so arch support is not a consideration. Had knee problems from wearing my old New Balances too long. These Brooks have alleviated that problem and I will buy another pair or two.

A walk on the warm side - I bought the Brooks Addiction Walker because it came in a variety of widths. I wear a hard-to-fit men's B width. The Brooks Addiction Walker serves as an all-around walking and semi-formal shoe. Good for a vacation where you want to avoid the all-white sneaker that marks you as the American Tourist, but that vacation should not be in a warm country because the Brooks shoe does not breathe very well. However, the fit is true and the shoe has excellent support and cushioning. One measure of the shoe's comfort is that once it is on the foot, you might forget you are wearing it, but not if it is too warm. Style-wise, these shoes are acceptable because they blend in.

Brooks Addiction Walker - After I retired from being a "suit" I promised myself that I would no longer wear uncomfortable shoes no matter what the dress code. I have been looking for a shoe with maximum comfort and maximum support to wear on a trip to Italy this fall AND a shoe that my spouse will find acceptable for almost any occasion. Taking advantage of Zappos generous policy, I ordered five different brands of walking shoes and tried them on. This shoe came out on top in all categories and especially in arch support which is critical for me. I did have to go a half size larger than I normally wear because a 12D was too tight but the 12.5 is perfect. This is odd because I have worn a 12D forever. I am anxious to try them out for real on our trip.
