I got these for my husband, his second pair from Zappos. He absolutely loves them and wears them everywhere (even in the rain on city streets), as he finds them extremely comfortable. They also wear very well. Zappos carries a wide selection of the different colors and materials of these classic sandals.

Zappos is fast becoming my favorite shoe store. I attempted to buy my Birkenstocks at a local shoe store and they were out of the color that I wanted. They wanted me to pay for them in advance and special order a pair that could take 2-3 weeks. After thinking twice about it, I went home, logged onto Zappos' web site and ordered the shoes. They were at my door step three days later and I even saved money by not having to pay the sales tax. Thanks Zappos!

Make sure to order a size down! I normally wear size 9.5 and have a wide foot and my perfect size is 39 narrow. So, 1st off, if you are female, I recommend getting the narrow unless your foot is really wide. The suede also stretches so even if they are a little tight in width at 1st, they won't be when you wear them in. That happened to my last pair of regular width suede Arizona's and they got really loose. Second, the size conversions on here are wrong. 39 does not equal women's 8-8.5, but 9. 40 is 10, and so on. So if you know your European size, go with that or 1 size down looking at the American conversions they give. As I mentioned I am size 9.5 normally and the 39's fit exactly like a 9. At first it felt like, if my foot was any bigger, they'd be too small. But the cork flattened out and indented from daily wear and now they fit exactly like a 9.5. Other that that, I love this shoe! They're kinda uncomfortable when you 1st wear them, but soon after become amazing. I got the mocha suede and they match so many outfits. And the slip on style is so convenient when you need to run out and get the mail or walk the dog real quick. Everyone should own a pair!

Very disappointed in the soles of these Arizona Birkenstock sandals. Bought these Mid February. You would think for the price they would hold up better than that. Were these defective? I don't know. I have never had a pair of sandals do this. It just seems wrong that they are just withering away on the bottom. :( Birkenstock you need to fix this terrible flaw!

Size-wise it fit fine, BUT while there was ample space inside the 'bathtub' of a foot indentation near the big-toe, all my smaller toes hung over the edge on the other side of the shoe. I don't think I have overly wide feet, so it seems like it's the shape of the shoe that just doesn't match the reality of my toes at all. Very odd. Had to return it, since the 'tub' has like a quarter-inch rim that my toes rested on. Not so great.

Replacing the ones I’ve worn for 25 years. Love them!

Once you go Birkenstock you never wear anything else. Some breaking in needs to be done, but after two or three days the shoes fit like a cloud. This si my 4th pair over three years.
