I like the appearance of these shoes but they've also worn horribly. The leather upper is beautiful and the rubber soles are very flexible and lend to the general comfort but the rest of each shoe is scuffed and wearing.

It's a stylish shoe, but the support is poor. My heels hurt at the end of the day. They would probably be OK for going out, but not as a daily shoe. I also share some concerns with the quality of construction. Seems kind of weak. I've only wore them twice so we'll see how they hold up.

The shoes are comfortable and fashionable. However, the stitching at the front, where the tongue meets the collar, is terrible. Split a stitch after 2nd time wearing the shoes. Returned them for another pair, and split the stitch the very first time I wore them! Too bad, because they were comfortable and looked good.

Good looking shoes, but cheap plastic on front and back started tearing off soon after I bought them. I wanted to buy another pair in black, but not anymore. For the price the quality isn't that good.

Here's what you should know: these shoes look nice, and if you are only driving in them they might actually last. If you walk in them any distance, they will tear out in short order, mostly at the toe. I had a real fetish for these and despite the fact that they wore out, over and over, I replaced them twice. If Mr. Madden had just made a better sole these would be 5 stars, but the fact that the build quality and details are total garbage is a major detractor. Am I being unfair? Maybe. But these shoes made me realize that it's worth it to spend two or three times as much and get a shoe that lasts and looks good the whole way.

First of all, I have to say that Zappos has the best customer service ever on the planet and if every other company offered this kind of service, the world would be a better place. I mean it. Regarding these shoes: I bought them for my husband and they came apart in the front after one day of use indoors. They need to be thrown in the trash because unless you duct tape them on the front (they became open-toed shoes after one wear) you cannot even donate them.

These shoes are crap. Whatever material they used for the bottom (which wraps around the toe and heel) gets destroyed by any amount of walking. I don't recommend.
