Terribly-made shoes. Rubs blisters the size of a half-dollar - I bought these shoes thinking they would be comfortable to wear in the office and going out to meetings, but the leather on the bottom of the shoe easily breaks down and scuffs, also the stitching easily comes apart. There is hardly any rubber sole on the bottom of the shoe, so the potential for rips & tears is extremely high, especially if you plan to do some street walking in these. I would never buy these shoes again; the narrow heel support rubbed my heel raw to the point where I had a giant raspberry blister on the back of my heel from wearing the shoe for only 30 minutes, doing some walking. These shoes are terrible, buy the Louka instead.

I just received this shoe in the mail today. I usually wear an 11 or 12, but decided to go with an 11 after reading reviews. It's definitely true to size, but it has quite a bit of give once you wear them. I had a hell of a time putting them on at first, but after a day of wearing them, they fit well. A little snug, but better than extremely loose. Good buy.

Hot shoes! I bought these for my boyfriend since he wanted something stylish and perfect for spring/summer as opposed to just wearing flip-flops everywhere. Everytime we're out, he gets compliments, the white leather is pretty soft however he complained they aren't too comfortable since there is no padding or any other sort of support inside the shoe. I bought him Dr. Scholl’s gel pads, which did the trick and made this shoe more comfortable.

Nice shoe - Overall the Novo is a nice shoe, in jeans or a suit, the Novo looks great and is a super comfortable shoe. I wore mine to a wedding that lasted 5hours (with reception) and I have no complaints, they look better after a few weeks of wear.

Clean - Nice shoes...not very comfortable...but I guess they’re not suppose to be...I got a lot of compliments for them though...I bought the white ones...the only hassle is trying to keep them clean...

Great style, terrible design/construction. They’re sort of a cross between a dress shoe and a moccasin in design, only they have the uncomfortableness of a dress shoe and the lack of durability of a moccasin rather than the other way around. The minimalist sole does make you walk on the balls of your feet which I like but the front half of the flimsy leather insole started unglued and out of place every time I took them off w/in 1 week so an additional insole is a must. Fit runs a little wide. If you love the style go for it, but buy them a little big as you’ll want to add an extra insole, otherwise save yourself the money and buy a shoe that’s actually constructed to last...

Review Update - I really liked this shoe when I first got it, but it developed a kind of funky odor after about a month of wearing approx. 4 times a week, which seems way too quick, especially for an all leather shoe. I've tried limited wear, but the odor comes back every time I've had the shoes on for over 2 hours. I have worn it sockless a few times, but most of the time, I'm wearing socks.

I got them in white...got mad props for them too...but they really kill your feet...not good if your going to walk a lot or even worse dance...I would suggest buying some comforting insoles...well they look nice...but that's it...overall I still am satisfied...sometimes you have to sacrifice a bit of comfort in order to look good...so I don’t mind...

I had these shoes for about 2 weeks before the leather on the front of the toe creased and then broke. My toes poked through on both shoes. There are better shoes out there. I tried to get them repaired, but the shop said that it would cost more than a new pair. Not that I'll buy another pair of these.

Stitching came apart after a dozen wears - The stitching near the tongue of the left shoe came apart after maybe a dozen days of wearing the shoes.

Very poor thread stitching - The upper stitching on the side of the shoe (where the upper lip connects to the wall of the shoe) started to come undone very easily shortly after I started wearing these shoes. Zappos, with their prompt and great service, offered me a replacement pair. The exact same problem occurred with the second pair as soon as I started wearing them. It seems the end of the thread is not secured in any way, so the stitching unravels once you put the shoes on and start walking in them. Consider the JUMP Dunbar instead. It is the exact same design as the Steve Madden Novo, although not as soft, but rather rigid.

Zappos delivery was on time. I ordered my shoes on Sunday, needed them by Friday. They were here on Thursday. On time performance. Thumbs up for Zappos!

We could not have been more surprise on how great these look on my boyfriend and he says they are very comfortable too.

Great shoe, great value. Usually last a year if used a lot. Bought before, will buy again if available. Size tends to be 1/2 a size bigger so check before buying.

This a comfortable and stylish shoe. It does a run a bit small though. I'm generally a size 7 but that was too small so I had to also purchase the 7.5. I wore the shoe for the first time last night and the shoes felt like they were mine. No new shoe pain!

I bought these for my husband, his third pair over the years. He loves them because they are super comfy and work well for either dress or casual. He usually wears. 10.5 but an 11 in these.

Sensational pair of shoes! These are husband's 4th pair. Comfort excels and even his boss wears them now! They look cool and they are cool!

Shoe definitely runs much larger than actual shoe size. I also bought this shoe from a Steve Madden store some years ago and while the shoe looks exactly the same, the quality of the material does not seem anywhere near as supple as previous.

This shoe is great for airport security lines. This is a great driving shoe as well. The shoe has fantastic leather and stitching. It is soft and supple right out-of-the-box. I did have some hotspots on my heels where there was stitching, but in time these went away. My only gripe and reason for giving four stars is that the soul is a bit on the small side, and due to this the shoe is somewhat unstable especially when changing directions. Overall I am very pleased with these shoes and wear them regularly.

Pretty good and comfortable. The picture is a bit misleading. Instead of the white thread, it's actually darker. Kind of like a grey color.

I like the appearance of these shoes but they've also worn horribly. The leather upper is beautiful and the rubber soles are very flexible and lend to the general comfort but the rest of each shoe is scuffed and wearing.

It's a stylish shoe, but the support is poor. My heels hurt at the end of the day. They would probably be OK for going out, but not as a daily shoe. I also share some concerns with the quality of construction. Seems kind of weak. I've only wore them twice so we'll see how they hold up.

The shoes are comfortable and fashionable. However, the stitching at the front, where the tongue meets the collar, is terrible. Split a stitch after 2nd time wearing the shoes. Returned them for another pair, and split the stitch the very first time I wore them! Too bad, because they were comfortable and looked good.

Good looking shoes, but cheap plastic on front and back started tearing off soon after I bought them. I wanted to buy another pair in black, but not anymore. For the price the quality isn't that good.
