These Teva sandals fit the bill for me as I am recovering from ankle surgery. They offer comfort, support and flexibility with adjusting the straps especially for my still swollen foot. They are not clunky and I plan to wear them on our upcoming cruise with shorts, capri pants, etc.; basically all daytime activities on board and excursions. I knew they would be perfect the minute I put them on and have been wearing them ever since they arrived early June. They passed the comfort test for all the walking I have done shopping for the cruise!

First pair of Teva sandals must say I was very pleased. Purchased to walk to and from work in, no problems with fit or comfort. Love the convenience of putting these on in the warm weather instead of socks and walking shoes. Sole is perfect for walking up and down hills, just enough traction without looking clunky. Just love these sandals. I wanted a comfortable sandal I could travel and sightsee in and they are just that.

I was looking for a pair of everyday sandals that would be comfortable for walking, and these fill the bill. They were extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on. The first time I walked any real distance -- maybe a half mile to a mile -- they did rub my feet a bit, but nothing too bad. The discomfort was pretty minimal -- about what I'd expect from any new pair of shoes worn without socks -- and ceased to be noticeable once I stopped walking. I just put them aside for a day or two before wearing them again to give a couple of slightly raw spots a chance to recover. My feet have become accustomed to them very quickly, and I haven't felt any discomfort since -- and I've had them for about a month and have worn them frequently. I rate them 5 stars overall, even though they're lower on style, because I wasn't really looking for something with a lot of style.

I ordered these Teva sandals because I have the blue-patterned cloth-strap sandals of a similar style from Teva, and they are very comfortable, but now worn-out. I like the fact that you can adjust the front strap around the toes, as well as the back strap.

These sandals are super comfortable and fit perfectly! My regular size (5.5) was just fine, even though I wear a 6 in a boot.

This is my second pair of Pretty Rugged Leather 2 sandals and I love them! They are true to size and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are certainly "rugged". My other pair is at least four years old and has been through everything...including the washing machine...and still has a lot of wear left in it. I wear them every day...in cool weather I wear them around the house with socks!

Loved the sandals; however I didn't agree about the size. I usually wear an 8.5 medium in TEVA and when I ordered them, they were very snug (length and width). I exchanged them for a 9 and they were perfect. They are very cute for a sport sandal and look great with skirts as well. They are extremely comfortable and have good arch support...even my podiatrist recommends TEVA. They also make the feet look very cute as they are not as rugged looking as most sport sandals. Zappos customer service is outstanding as well. I received, returned, re-ordered and re-received all within a week. No company can beat that. Will probably reorder these in another color as well.

I love this Teva style, Pretty Rugged Leather 2. This will be my 3d pair. They are comfortable enough to walk miles in, and give great support for a sandal.

These are without a doubt the best sandals you can buy if you are going on a trip and can only take one pair. Can dress up or dress down, and the comfort is unparalleled. I wear these about 365 days a year. Even in winter w/socks.

I wear Teva Pretty Rugged Leather 2 all year long. I have all three of the colors. When winter comes, I wear socks. The give my feet the support I need for working out, walking and most of all the comfort I enjoy. Yes, I have dress shoes for church, but depending of the length of my skirt, I may wear my Teva shoes.

This is my third pair, replacing the no-longer-made Teva fisherman’s sandal. They are comfortable on my feet right out of the box, and I love that I can get them in size 10.5. They are indeed waterproof, that is to say they dry without any change to the leather if you get caught out in some weather.

I had a pair of these about 10 years ago and wore them to work, the grocery store, everywhere. They never really wore out, they just started to look a bit tatty (not appropriate for work anymore). These are somewhat updated -- a bit sturdier, the triangular plastic pieces reinforced in back with additional material, but have the same basic style. Still fit well. Can walk all day in them which matters to me since I enjoy walking and my feet tend to swell horribly in hot weather. Tend to run just a bit small so if you are on the large end of the size range, order up. A bit pricey but well, well worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I bought these because I am pregnant (really pregnant 8 1/2 months), and me and my husband were heading to Gatlinburg for our babymoon. Really fun city, but requires a lot of walking. And as most pregnant women know, heat, and walking are a bad combination, especially if you begin the walk in your "cute" sandals. After switching to these for the rest of the trip, I could walk longer, and when my feet swelled up, I could just loosen the straps. They have great traction, and I didn't catch my toe on anything, which happened before in my Columbia rugged sandals. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone! They are very comfortable, and sturdy and they're pretty cute for a sportier sandal.

I was looking for something to replace my very comfy but very worn-out Birkenstocks, that would maybe not be quite as clunky as a Birkenstock. These are every bit as comfortable but nice enough looking to wear with a skirt. I need good arch support, which this sandal has. Also a sensible nubby sole. When they first arrived, I put them on and immediately took our dog for a walk. I hardly noticed I had them on! I hope they last for years.

TEVA Pretty Rugged Leather 2 are FANTASTIC!!! I have not worn a comfortable sandal for probably 30 years!! Then I tried these. WOW!! Super soft, super comfortable. The adjustable straps make them easy to fit almost anyone. I just love them. Actually I love being able to wear a sandal again!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these in a panic before going to an all-day outdoor festival when I found out that it was supposed to rain all weekend. Yay Zappos for shipping them overnight! I barely had a chance to wear them at all before the weekend, but I didn't want to wear my Birkenstocks (Arizona’s, also from Zappos, the most comfortable shoes ever) in the mud and rain, so I took a chance. They were incredibly comfortable! I put on some blister-preventing patches (bought at department store, waterproof and clear) in a couple of spots that worried me early on, but my feet were complete comfy and blister-free all weekend. A great purchase!

Great fit, great comfort, great look. I had these shoes in brown leather and wore them for about 5 years, including on a trip to Africa. That pair is still comfortable but they look kind of ratty, so I got them in black. Decent looking enough to wear to work but comfortable enough to wear on walks in the woods. The velcro straps make them completely adjustable so the fit is always right.

Very nice and comfortable sandal. Took an easy hike in them the first time I wore them, and no blisters or pinches! Adjustable velcro straps are very useful.
