Classic and comfortable . . . . . . even for my sensitive feet that swell. Adjustable straps = comfort every day. Initially, I thought I would like the Clark's Sarasota better, based on the photo. But the ECCO looks "less orthopedic". The straps are a little thinner on the ECCO Wave. If comfort comes first for you, you won't be disappointed with this shoe. Missi T. They are comfortable sandals. They are not as "hip" as I would like them to be but they saved my feet walking all over Disney World. They are true to size as well.

Wish my feet were a half size smaller... I ordered this shoe in the largest size available, which is 11 - 11.5 medium width. Unfortunately, it is true to size and was a half size too small for my size 12m feet. But walking around the house in them told me they are as comfortable as touted to be. I just wish Ecco would make a true size 12 for us tall women with proportionately long feet.

Ecco Wave Sandal - I have had bunion surgery on both feet. This sandal is so comfortable you forget you have them on. I'm ordering another pair... I wear 7.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. I have several other types of Ecco shoes and they all are very comfortable (including hiking boots!).

Buy these shoes - I wore these right out of the box all day. I am taking them to Europe with only a pair of beach shoes. They are terrific.

The shoes are great, versatile and comfortable. Only problem is I have a very narrow foot and the back strap is not adjustable. It only has an elastic piece which started off a bit too big for my foot, but worked anyway.

Ecco Wave Sandal - I wear these for walking on vacation. Very comfortable with good support and also if they get wet they dry very easily. Would buy another pair.

WONDERFUL WAVE! This is a very comfortable shoe with a lot of cushion in the heel. It was narrower than expected in the toe area but thankfully adjustable. I would recommend it to any and all.

Comfy and cute! I like these. They are soft and comfy---but don't look like orthopedic shoes!

I have a pair of this style in black and am now saving to purchase a pair in white. I have had over 12 surgeries on my right foot and 7 on my left foot due to a serious injury. I NEVER take a step that is not painful, even hose and most socks cause pain due to the pressure they apply. By the end of an hour or so I am in such excruciating pain that I must go home, take medication and lie down for hours! I have actually had to leave my very good career of many years as is such a serious condition made it impossible for me to work. The physicians and specialists tell me there is nothing else that can be done. This style shoe with all the different adjustments to it makes it a perfect shoe for even me! I have had several bones shortened as much as an inch and have many neuromas and adhesions from all of the surgeries. I can wear this shoe for several hours with NO pain from the shoe itself! I honestly recommend that anyone with extremely painful feet at least try this style. My only wish is that you could sell me a left shoe in a size 9 and the right in an 8, due to all the missing bones my feet are very distinctly different sizes. Zappos is a wonderful company and with your guarantee, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! I am now able to enjoy some outings with my family in stylish shoes, NOT slippers. For years I have had to stay home or go for just a little while and then spoil all the fun for the rest of my family because someone had to drive me home as my foot hurt too much to work the accelerator and the brake. I have had many compliments from strangers on the black pair. I tell them about Zappos, their marvelous selection and guarantee (I even keep a little note book in my purse with the email address and phone number and have given it out to people that are serious). Of course, I mention the brand and style of what I am wearing. I really want the white as it spring and summer time and I will have a bigger selection of what I can wear. This is coming from a person that used to have a pair of shoes for each suit and outfit for work. Maybe Ecco can figure out a winter type of shoe that that is this versatile, stylish, and comfortable. My husband has worn Ecco brand shoes to work for years and just raves about the comfort, durability, and looks, so I gave them a try out of desperation. I am so happy that I did. Please tell Ecco keep up the wonderful work and to Zappos for wonderful service that you provide for many people that do not even have foot problems!

Great from day one - I bought these sandals for an upcoming trip to Italy. I generally wear inserts (neuroma) and can wear these all day without the inserts (which wouldn't work in these shoes). For a "comfort" sandal, they look great with either a shirt or pants. The only issue I had was a bit of rubbing from the strap on the first day. I have very sensitive skin, so that may not happen for other people.

Just Right - These shoes are neat looking and comfortable. Just right for summer wear. I have a black pair and a brown pair. Both provide a pleasant and comfortable appearance.

Very happy with my Ecco Wave sandals - A massage therapist recommended Zappos.com to me. I was in a hurry to find a new pair of sandals to wear on a city walking trip. A good friend had recently bought a pair of Ecco’s. I went on line, I chose some sandals - they arrived the very next day! In time for me to test them out - pretty good, I thought. Took them on my trip - very satisfied. Been wearing them since - they just get better and better! Plus, even though I didn't think the style looked that great, I get positive comments from strangers wherever I go. Buy Ecco’s. Buy them from Zappos. You won't be disappointed.

These are very comfortable, but they are not what I would consider to be walking shoes. Then again, I have a very low tolerance for foot pain, and I am not sure they are intended to be used for extended hikes or walks.) They are great for summer, look pretty and the adjustable velcro straps let you have a good fit. The look is what you see on the website; they are not fancy but look very good overall. I am happy so far with these!

Great shoe!!! The Ecco Wave Sandal is one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. From the first time you put it on, it feels great. I would recommend this shoe to anyone!!

Great for asymmetrical feet! I had a bunionectomy on one foot, but not on the other. Sometimes Eccos are problematic for me--they may exert pressure on the remaining bunion after a few hours' wear. I was thrilled to find these with adjustable straps that can accommodate this, as well as my narrow heel! And like other Eccos, they also have a full leather lining, to keep your feet drier and comfier than synthetics, and comfortable padding on the back strap. I have periodic plantar fasciitis as well, and Eccos provide great support! These shoes are not dead sexy, but neither are wincing and a limp!

Just what I was looking for... I just received my new Ecco Wave sandals, and they are as comfortable as the previous reviewers said. Look great, too. I must say, buying from Zappos has been a revelation. Who knew such great service existed?

Absolutely Fabulous! Ladies, imagine this, an adorable shoe, for women of all ages, that's not only a sandal for casual days, but also works like a tennis shoe for walking. Amazingly enough, you won't know you have this shoe on your feet because it is so comfy. "E = Excellent" "C = Comfortable" "C = Casual" "O = Outstanding choice" : )

Great comfort! I bought these sandals to wear on a trip to Paris, I thought I should break them in before I went! No need, they fit like a nice pair of slippers!
