Gave these to my sister-in-law for a retirement gift. She loves the fit and the arch support. I\\\'ve been wearing this style for years!

Once again, Zappos has exceeded my expectations by delivering a fantastic pair of Chacos in less than one day! I placed an order one night and the box was in my hands in less than 24 hours. Amazingly fast (and free) service! The Chacos are extremely comfortable, supportive and great for any outdoor activity. A little pricey but totally worth it!

Worth the Money - Read all reviews for water sandals for a trip to Jamaica. Decided on Chaco's because of the good reviews. Some said they run big, since they don't come in 1/2 sizes ordered a size small, WRONG. They run true to size. Did Mayfields Falls in Jamaica and they were wonderful, and half the people I saw on snorkeling tours had the crossovers tan lines and had raves for them.

I'm a convert to Chaco’s! I first bought another sandal (brand starts with a T), but was disappointed in the fit. I was scared of the price of Chaco’s, but a friend talked me into them, and I am NOT disappointed. I love the infinite adjustability of the straps. I have skinny feet, but I'm sure these sandals would fit a wide foot equally well. One thing that bothered me quite a bit at first was the arch support. It felt too high and/or large. After wearing them everywhere I go for a couple of weeks, though, either my feet are used to them or the sandals are leveling out. They fit quite nicely now. I like the look of the straps--I can't wait to get a Z-tan! With only one small buckle, the look is simple.

Chaco Z/2 - I love them. It took about a week to get used to the high arch. Now they are very comfortable.

At first the straps were confusing, and I wasn't sure if the shoes were giving me cramps... BUT, they have been wonderful! It was just a learning curve and now they are definitely a staple in the sandal wardrobe.

Better than most other shoes - While I'm not super excited about my new Chaco’s, I am happy to have them. I have a pretty wide foot and was having difficulty finding any sandal at all, so for that I am grateful to have this comfortable shoe. The only problem is that the toe loop pulls tight sometimes when I walk. Not sure what that's all about, but I would still recommend the shoe, great for active people.

I used to love Chaco sandals before they resized them. I have narrow feet and loved the flip flops because a size 8 fit me. Now the 8 is too short, the 9 is too large in the foot. I had to buy the 9 in this sandal but after 2 wearings I found that the placement of the toe strap will never fit. It seems that the strap is set too far back, not allowing my foot to be far forward enough. Very, very uncomfortable.

Fortunately I have a pair that was made before they were bought out and changed materials. After struggling with periodic hip pain, I figured out it's due to my new pairs of Chacos. They're not as supportive as the pair I got in 2008. The sole on the old pair is a denser rubber that gives a bit gives enough support. Now that I've stopped wearing the new Chacos, no more hip pain. Unfortunately, the old footbed is no longer available even directly from the company in Colorado, so I'll have to keep resoling my one old pair. If they work for you great, but if you usually need orthotics and have a pair that's more than 3 years, you may want to have them re-chaco'd instead of spending more money for an inferior version.

This shoe fits like tying a brick to your foot with a piece of floss. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I was disappointed with the design. If the sole was thinner and if more straps were present to hold this shoe in better place, this would have been a keeper.

I am among those who had high hopes for these sandals as I have a high arch and need support. They do support my arch, but they are impossible to adjust correctly. Maybe it's the pair I have but the straps refuse to move easily. It takes ages to get them right, and sometimes I just give up entirely. Also, as someone else said, once I do get the strap around the big toe "right", as I walk it seems to tighten and tighten and I end up with red strap marks. Also, the foot bed is hard and not that comfortable.

I tried these shoes several years ago and broke a sweat trying to figure out how to adjust the straps. I returned them only to be lured back, this time by a friend who was in the Peace Corps (apparently this is the shoe) so she helped me adjust and I love them! Great arch support, sturdy, comfortable and cool. Once you have them properly adjusted you should be able to just undue the latch to put them off and on. I highly recommend these for plantar fasciitis and all those other lovely foot problems that plague us ladies.

I love my Chacos! They are well-made, sturdy, good-looking, comfortable to wear, and very slip resistant. I first got a pair because I have tendinitis in my feet and foot pain due to falling arches. Chacos give terrific support. I've never had a problem with them -- and I practically live in them during the warm months.

Can't go wrong with the Unaweep Chacos. May take a few days to break in, but after that they're the most comfortable shoe ever. Speedy delivery, and free shipping!

Great shoe, great foot bed and arch just too narrow for me. I have ordered a wide.

there is no arch like chaco. I have knee problems and like the thicker sole.

Oh so comfy... Really great adventure sandal! They are a little hefty weight-wise so if that bothers you, get another style of Chacos. Love the adjust-ability of the straps!

I am typically not a sports sandal type of person but I needed a pair for an eight week trip through India. I ordered six pairs from Zappos and these were the winners. They held up wonderfully and were very comfortable - I could even jog in them for a few blocks. The sole is firm but soft and has some arch support. There is only one adjustable strap, which was perfect for me but if you have thin or thick feet, these might not work. Because they are all black and the sole is not super chunky or wide, they do not look nearly as ugly as other sports sandals. In some photos, they actually look a bit stylish. I was afraid that I would look like a river guide, but they were tailored enough on my feet to make me one or two steps above a true hippy. I cleaned them off nightly in the hotel sink and they always looked fresh in the morning. They are expensive for what they are, but I was happy with my purchase.

I love my Chaco’s! I work as a counselor at a summer camp and I was looking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable and also look good (and that weren't tennis shoes). These are probably my most favorite pair of shoes that I have ever bought. I bought the Pool color and they look great! One of the main reasons why I love them so much is because I have Plantar Fasciitis and my arches hurt me all the time. Since I've started wearing the Chaco’s my arches have not been bothering me at all! I highly recommend these shoes to anyone! Also, Zappos overnight shipping is AMAZING! I ordered my shoes at 5:00 p.m. and received them at 12:30 p.m. the next day! I am very impressed with Zappos.com and will shop for shoes here again.

I wore these awesome shoes to Disney World. We were walking and standing all day and night and carrying small children. I usually have a problem with my shoes by afternoon if I'm shopping/walking ect. NOT THIS TIME... These shoes were Perfect!!! No blisters because the straps adjust around the exact size of your feet. Comfort from the time I put them on until I took them off. They can be worn with anything and look great.

The Best Outdoor Sandal Ever - Simply the best outdoor sandal available. Very comfortable. Super durable...I've been wearing the same 2 pairs for years. My boyfriend finally decided to try these after wearing TEVA's for years and now he won't wear anything else. Literally! He goes through 1-2 pairs of Chacos a year and that is ALL he wears year round. In addition to everyday wear, he wears his for hiking and climbing approaches in all sorts of extreme terrain. Ultimately the straps wear out. The soles are indestructible and this year they improved them (lighter, more sticky). I toss them in the washing machine when they get too dirty. We both thought the toe strap would bug us, but we love it...it hugs your foot to the sandal. We love them.

Chaco’s are the only sandal I wear now. I used to wear flip flops for casual summer wear. I had no idea what I was missing. I've found when you're used to foot pain, you don't even realize there's a life outside of it, you accept it as the way things are, an unfortunate side effect to getting older. Chaco’s have been my escape from this "inevitable." I wear this for everything. Hiking, yes. Biking, yes. Kayaking, yes. Walking from my front door to my mailbox, yes. The Unaweep sole is an awesome improvement as well, a lightweight hiking sole, even better for the "wear them anywhere" school of thought.
