Ecco has once again proven themselves worthy of my patronage. The Yucatan sandals are very comfortable, right out of the box, as has been my experience with all of the Ecco products I have used. I also had a great customer service experience with the folks at Zappos. I had ordered a size that wasn’t quite right and the exchange was very easy and simple. Made more so by the great folks at Zappos customer service. Thanks!!

Bought these after searching the internet for reviews of athletic sandals for people with WIDE feet. This shoe came highly recommended and rightly so. Started an overnight hike (15 miles round trip, 2500 FT up and the same down - twice, once in and once out) in the local mountains. Started out in hiking boots but had to abandon them after less than two mile, with hot spots on both heels. Choices were to quit or try these sandals that I brought for around camp. I had been wearing them everywhere for about three weeks. These shoes served me so well that I will never wear a hiking boot again. My feet have never felt better at the end of a hike and my legs appreciate the lighter weight. I have joined the league of sandal wearing hikers and this is the shoe that converted me. Just bought a second pair. The very slight ridge that supports the plantar tendon is perfect. No need to have the shoe hold up the entire arch which keeps things cool and dry with no rubbing on the delicate skin of my arch. No rubbing anywhere the straps touched my feet. I'm 55 years old, female, weight 200LBs and was carrying a 35LB pack (training for a longer hike later in the year). This is a very good shoe!

I have a relatively narrow foot, and these sandals have been the best fit I have ever had. Most sandals try to be a one-size fits all. These Ecco's are able to be adjusted to my specific foot. Phenomenal sandal!

Great summer shoe for long pants or shorts...was able to walk through neighborhood with shoes right out of the box. Adjustable straps and nice inner sole make these another Ecco favorite of mine.

Worry and hassle free shopping.
Zappos has taken internet shopping to a new level. Their website, customer support, product selection, expeditious shipping/delivery, price guarantee and returns (if necessary) are truly remarkable. Now for the shoes. I own a pair of Ecco golf shoes that are six years old and still very serviceable and comfortable. When I noticed the Ecco Yucatan Sandal, I decided to give them a try. I purchased one size smaller than my normal shoe size because of the sandal "adjustable feature". They were a little snug at the most extended adjustments, so within minutes I just purchased my normal 1l 1/2 size. I received them the next day and received credit on my account for the returned pair. Even the return was taken care of by Zappos. Because of the arch support, I wear my Yucatans as house shoes and have found that for my daily walks of two miles, the Yucatans are as comfortable as my sneakers. I will never be without a pair.

Comfort from Day One -
These sandals are more comfortable than any I've had since an old pair of Tevas (no longer made) wore out. They provide good support and traction with almost no break-in needed. I tried other brands, but the Ecco Yucatans were easily the best. They're easy to recommend and very well made.

Bought my husband these, he is between 10.5 and 11. The 45 fit perfectly; the 44 was too small (toes hung over too far). He wears them all the time and loves them - and he is very very picky about shoes! They are comfortable, plus very stylish.

Great shoe. This is my second pair of them. They fit well and are very comfortable. I wear them with socks. Too bad I can't wear them in the winter. My feet get too cold, even though I am in California.

Very comfortable and good quality. The sole is very sturdy and easy to naturally flex the foot while walking. I do a lot of walking in urban environments and these sandals seem to have a durable sole and hope the Velcro straps are durable. Some sandals the Velcro is of low quality and creates problems later
