These are great shoes. I have a narrow foot and usually Dunham B width works for me, but even with my arch supports these still felt too wide and large. Going back.

Felt too wide.

I have narrow feet which a Dunham B normally fits, but this shoe was much too wide in the heel resulting in an up and down on the heel that was bound to wear out a pair of socks with each wearing, Liked the looks and quality of the shoe, but it wasn't for me. Return was way easy.

I ordered a narrow (b) width shoe, and even with thick shoes it was too wide. I really think the shoe was mis-labeled.

Great construction, good looking shoe, and well-suited for orthotics, but...(1) it feels wide, so unlike the Rockports, the foot swims about a bit, (2) it's a heavy shoe, and (3) it doesn't take a very high shine (although maybe it will after several layers of polish are applied...just like the good old Army days). I'm keeping them, but as a back-up pair of shoes, not my everyday footwear.

Look good, but not very comfortable. I bought these because I had an older pair of Dunham oxfords that I loved for the comfort, but these are nothing like them. OK support, but no padding... feels like I'm walking on concrete. That said, they do look quite nice with an occasional polish, so I've been wearing them, just not when I have to do a lot of walking.

Dunham Battery Park Oxford - I travel constantly and wanted to eliminate extra shoes in the baggage. I purchased this shoe with the idea that it would do double duty - be an acceptable business shoe by day and a casual shoe by night. It looks okay in a clunky sort of way, but is heavier than I would wish. I had to pad the heel to get a better fit. It will likely end up in my closet as a winter back up.

Takes time to break in - The shoes look great but the blisters on my heels are huge. I had to buy pads for the heels in order to wear these. I'm going to be patient and make them work since I have such an odd size. The price is really reasonable.

The shoes look nice and I would have kept them, but right out of the box, my heel slipped quite a bit when tied as tightly as possible. This would quickly lead to blisters so I am returning them.

They were wayyyy too tight for what was supposed to be a 6e. Also, the ridge on the back of the shoe was specifically designed to cut into the back of your foot with the precision of a scalpel. Has no one at this company ever worn shoes?? I wore them out and walked a mile to the restaurant. Huge mistake. I felt like I was being punished.

I generally like Dunham, particularly for their New Balance technology, which makes for a great fit. These shoes did fit me. However, the top of the heel in this model is rather sharp compared to most Dunham offerings. It bites into my Achille's tendon, and after the first day wearing them I had blisters on both feet on those spots where they bit. So I had to return them and buy a different model instead.

Too Big, not quality made. I have had Dunham shoes years ago and they fit like a glove and they were really comfortable. These were not. These shoes look better online than they do in person.

There is a hole cut into the heal of the shoe where they put a gel square which wears out relatively quickly and goes flat. The edge of the heal cutout is more ridged than the gel insert. So the front of my heal took a beating from that ridged area and gave me a horrendous heal spur. I tried orthotics but could still feel the ridge. I will not repurchase because of this design issue. It's a shame because the rest of the shoe has done really well. The outside still looks good after a simple polish and they are completely water proof for the winter months.

Bad Blisters - Despite trying to break these in for two weeks, I continue to get blisters on my right heel. Wanted to buy another brown pair, but decided not after dealing with this for so long.

I worked in these for 2-3 months and was very pleased; once broken in they fit well and looked good. However, the waterproofing treatment has started to slowly flake off the leather on one of the shoes. There is a growing spot of significantly duller leather at the toe with a white, powdery demarcation line before the shinier leather. It could be a fluke but I'm not going to buy another pair of these :-(

The first day I wore this, I injured my feet. The backs of my ankles were literally bleeding from chafing (through thick socks!) and impact most of the day by the time I got home after walking less than a mile during my workday. They look beautiful, but be careful wearing. Unfortunately I missed the return window long ago.

This is not my first pair, very comfortable, the only complaint, the laces are way to large.

Avoid these shoes! The backs cut violently into your Achilles tendon. I wore Band-Aids for two weeks, to help break them in. I now have a heavy callus there that helps, but it still cuts it. Beating it with a baseball bat helps loosen it, but not enough. Too bad. I love everything else about the shoes. I am replacing them and throwing them out after two months of trying.

These shoes are terribly uncomfortable. Have been trying to break them in for 4 months, and they've only gotten more uncomfortable. These shoes hurt so much that it hurts to walk for a couple of hours after wearing them.

Terrible shoes. Very uncomfortable. I left them in other country. Material used in the shoe was like a Velcro attaching to my socks. Instead of friction between sock and shoe I had friction between skin and sock. Beside that, very heavy and stiff sole.

Dunham Oxford - First pair I ordered were a full size too large, even when I ordered the same size I’ve been wearing for 15 years. Ordered one size smaller and they fit great!
