A nicely styled shoe and pretty comfortable out of the box, though it will need some wear and flexing before it's really good. It does seem to right a bit large, although the width is pretty much right on. I suggest wearing some slightly thicker sox for a firmer fit.

I have a narrow foot. I ordered the recommended size but it still felt generous. I did like the style, a change if that is possible with a plain black shoe.

Great looking shoe, with very good quality. The 6E I ordered was too tight on the front outsides for my very wide feet, however. Zappos return policy is excellent, so I will order another model from Zappos that looks like it will be a little better fit for me.

Have very wide boat feet and these are just the ticket. Seem a half size larger to me. Have both a brown and black pair. Great shoe for wide feet with plenty of room in the toes box.

My teenager's 6E feet are always a challenge outside New Balance tennis shoes. We are sizing down from 14 6E to 13 6E and trying again. These are not as dressy as we had hoped for a wedding. The removable soles to replace with the arch support he needs is a must.

This review is for the Brown Dunhams, size 16 normal width. They fit beautifully overall, but are a tad too long which surprised me, but actually is much better for me than shoes that are too tight. They look very nice and are suitable for everything for which I intended to use them--home, going out, etc.

These are nice shoes but they are not narow enough to qualify as 13B! The comfort and fit scores below are what I would likely report if the shoes fit me.

Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxford - The shoe is very comfortable after the first wear. The looks are very much like the photos. My only complaint is that the width runs to the wide side. Usually a narrow (B) fits me very well, this feels more like a medium or "C" width. They were so wide, I would have returned them had they not been worn and will most likely require some sort of insole etc. if I continue to wear them.

Dunham - Nice shoe, fits well especially since I need a very wide shoe. Only issue is that the back of the shoe comes up high enough to rub against the back of my ankle causing some irritation. Hopefully as it gets broken in it will get better, because otherwise I think the shoe is great from the perspective of fit and looks.

Great working shoe - These shoes are very comfortable. I carry a lot of weight and am on my feet all day. They pinch a little bit when crouching. But they have a great bouncy step and wear well. Excellent for narrow feet. I think they are made by New Balance and it shows.

Good all-around shoe - I chose this shoe for traveling as it goes with both slacks and jeans. I travel very light (carry on only). These Dunham's Oxfords fit the bill nicely. On a recent trip I spent hours on my feet and walked a few hours a day and felt fine, no blisters or aching feet.

Sturdy Shoe - The first day I wore these shoes, I developed one nasty blister on one heel. After breaking them in, they are pretty comfortable. The footbed is very comfortable. The construction seems pretty heavy duty. I walk a lot, averaging 2 to 3 miles a day. I ended up buying heel pads to get a better fit on my heels. I do have narrow heels.

I also bought a pair of Redwings that were comfortable out of the box.

The shoe runs large and the sole does not provide as much support as other Dunham’s I have owned.

Good cold-weather shoe - This is a nice shoe. It's pretty basic but with a few variations that make it look good in a business casual environment, but where it stands out is in its traction and waterproofing, which make it good for getting into the office from a frozen parking lot. I was getting frustrated having more expensive dress shoes get trashed by road salt and do not anticipate having this problem with this shoe.

Battery Park Assessment - The shoes gave me a heel blister during the first couple of wears. They got progressively more comfortable as they were broken in. Generally, I am very satisfied with them.

Good for uniform requirements - Very good quality; comfortable with classic design. I needed a narrow "uniform" type oxford and these fit the bill. Leather is smooth enough to get a nice shine with Kiwi and a lot of elbow grease.

Could use just a little padding on the inside at the top, back of the heel. It is a little irritating to me. Will have to double up on the socks until I get them broken in. They are VERY NICE shoes.

I've had three pairs of these through out my lifetime. I can never be critical of Dunham's sizing, all the pairs I've had have been true to size. It's a decent waterproof shoe and your feet will stay dry. However, like a few other manufacturers, I have noticed that the overall quality has seemed to decline. I've wear them in the fall/winter/early spring for rain. I have the black pair and they are already shot after about two seasons (alternating wear every other day). The insert on the inside has worn through plus the leather on the outside got scratched (there was something underneath that leads me to suspect the material is man made leather - not a deal breaker). I know the shoe is not supposed to last forever, I just thought that I would be able to get a little bit more mileage out of them before they needed to be replaced. So if you're looking for a waterproof shoe that you don't mind replacing after about a year than this one is for you.

Good fit if more than a bit stiff. Shoe is heavier than expected and clunky in action. Sole is solid and slaps the ground with little flex. And the absolute cheapest laces ever. I have worn these shoes less than 15 times and the laces are entirely frayed. Not my favorite Dunham shoe.

My husband has had some luck with the width of this brand, but he felt that this style was not a true 6E wide. He has very wide feet. We really have a hard time finding shoes.
