Love these sandals! I wear them constantly at the lake and they could not be more comfortable and grippy. No slipping with these on! The bottle opener is for sure a perk too, everyone loves when I wear them and I have talked 4 others into purchasing a pair. I am a 9 1/2-10 and ordered the 10 which were perfect.

These are the best flip flops I have ever owned. Super comfortable I wear them non-stop. They held up great after a week of abuse at Lake Powell. Great in and out of the water, super grippy on the rock. As a bonus the shipping was super fast. Thanks Zappos!

Fantastic Shoe!! This is by far the most comfortable sandal I have ever owed (and I have owed a few). I have narrow feet and the medium width is perfect for me.

Walk miles in these babies, then sit down for a cold one! I have both this style of Reef flip flops and the one w/o the bottle opener and they both rock! I wear mine to work all the time and go for walks at lunch w/ my coworkers and they've never bothered my feet, even after walking 2+ miles. The bottle opener also works great and hasn't caused any problems with the comfort or functionality of the shoe. OH and they don't make that annoying 'flip flop' noise when you walk!

Once again I am super pleased with my Reefs. The Fanning Reef's are so comfortable, especially with the air in the heel and the nice soft strap. Must buy!

These are not as cushioned as other reefs.

More snug than the reefs I've had in the past, not comfortable for me.

Love the firmness and arch support and it fit perfectly. The problem is the poor quality workmanship. The two rubber soles were glued together sloppily and there is smeared dried glue showing. Also, I think the upper rubber sole is very thin and not smooth around the edges. I bought a pair of Reef Fannings for my son 2 years ago, from a local sports store and they have been perfect. Has Reefs skimped on the quality of their product in the past two years or is the pair I received unusual? I would love to own a pair of these sandals if the quality of material and workmanship matched that of my son's sandals.

Ordered the 10 and 11 as some shoes run small. The 10 is perfect.

Always a winner with reef but now it seems they run a size smaller. Normally a size 9, and I had to return for a 10.

I have been wearing Reef flip flops for at least 25 years. They are a great value but get a size bigger because they don't have 1/2 sizes. Last for years.

I am true 8 1/2. Some buyers said they run small, some said big. I ordered 8 and 9. Kept 9. Just because size 8 looked like I borrowed them from my teenage daughter... My heel was at the very very end of flip flop. Hope this helps.

I got this style about 2 years ago and they were amazing flip flops. Now being so well worn, the toe strap is starting to stretch some but they were well worth the price. My heel didn't get off to the side like with many flip-flops and were great for walking.

I am a plus size woman with a bad back. So I have to have good support in all my shoes. Of course since I discovered Reef sandals I wear them all the time. They are awesome. I love them and will not wear any other brand. These are the best and are well worth any price you have to pay for them. I love the fanning Luxe they have held up good for support and the weight I carry. You will never regret owning a pair of these. I wear them year round.

Ladies and Gentlemen, believe the hype on these flip-flops! I am really finicky about what fits on my feet and how it feels and I cannot live without these. I live in the midwest, and if I could only ever have one pair of shoes for the rest of my life, despite even the snow, these would have to be it! My aunt recommended them to me years ago - she had a pair, and is a true Californian by nature - the surf, the beach, the parties, the formal affairs - you can wear these things everywhere. Before Reef flip-flops, I could not wear flip-flops because of the pain associated with my toes being rubbed raw and discomfort with the straps. Not so with the Fannings! I made my first purchase back in '08, bought another pair in '10, and am purchasing now my third pair and a pair for my husband who is always stealing mine! I wear these nearly every day, even in the winter around the house, and the only reason I have had to repurchase the last two pairs is because of some residual smell (my feet sweat a lot, but I am never slipping around in these shoes). You can throw these in the washing machine and they are perfectly fine - just do not put them in the dryer! They are incredibly comfortable, and perfectly lightweight for travel (though I usually prefer storing the other shoes and wearing these instead! These are shoes that over time actually mold to your feet and have a perfect fit, every time. I have wide feet for a female, and tend to have to purchase wide shoes - but these fit like a dream. I cannot say enough good things about these - everyone needs a pair of these.

Really nice sandal with good support and comfort. Looks good too. They run large so I wear a size smaller than normal with this brand.

You can't get any better than this flip-flop. I have been ordering this style for years now, and have yet to find anything superior to it. Supportive, never rubs..can wear them all day. Definitely worth every penny, and the bottle opener is a great perk! Love them (the grey and pink is really cute too). I wear a 7.5-8 and the 7 is a perfect fit.

These are my patio and pool shoes that I wear just about every day. They are comfortable and perfect for around the water. Since they only come in whole sizes, order up if you're a half-sizer.

The most comfortable flip-flop made. The only one I can walk in. I own three of them.

Comfortable to wear all day and much easier on the feet and knees than flat flip-flops. The strap between the toes is not the least bit irritating, and the rest of the strap snugs up around the foot enough so the foot stays centered on the shoe. For me, the bottle opener in the sole is really just a novelty. There's no way I would use a dirty shoe to open a bottle of anything to drink. Love these shoes and would buy them again.

I've had my Reef's for over 5 years and they are perfect, so comfortable I walk 5 miles a day in them.

I have been wearing these shoes for about a month now so I'm ready to review! I have also been a North Face flip flop fan but after wearing these, I'll be buying these instead. The air pocket cushion in the heel is just amazing. My feet don't ache even after wearing these for the entire day. I was also wondering about the type of material used on the toe strap but it's soft as can be and I don't hardly notice it. The opener on the bottom has been quite the conversation piece as well.

These are my 2nd pair of the Reef Fanning. Purchased the first pair 4 or 5 years ago. I'm only buying a new pair because my dog decided they were a great chew toy. After she chewed through the fabric toe strap, I had to give them up. Love these sandals. The strap between the toe is so comfortable. Mainly wear them outside around the house to do yard work. Very comfortable and durable. Would definitely recommend this shoe.
