Living in South Florida, I suppose you could say I am a sandal expert! In the past 5 years, I have owned dozens of different brands. I've had a good chance to break these sandals in and would qualify them as mediocre, at best. The thong between my toes is stitched in such a way that sometimes it is abrasive. The cut of the shoe is a little strange - even though the size seems perfect, the thong is set forward a little too far. This means that sometimes my toes are "hanging ten" over the front edge, while plenty of room remains at the rear part of the shoe. I'm not fond of the rubber insole - leather insoles do a much better job of wicking perspiration. And finally, the little bottle openers (embedded in the sole of each sandal) are often really annoying as they click when they strike a piece of pavement that's not perfectly smooth. That may sound trivial, but believe me - if you wore them while taking a walk on a quiet night, the clicking is a real pain. Besides, who on earth would ever want to drink a bottle that had been opened by the sole of their shoe? Think about all the crud you sometimes walk through...dog poopie, big old loogies, yuck. Not on these lips...

When spending $65 plus on flip flops, one expects a bit more. Cuts are not covered by policy. Review evaluation staff did not allow this review with pictures of cuts on my feet from the Reef Flip Flops. So cuts on my feet, pictures removed.

Went with the leather this year and love them. Live in Socal and wear them more than any other shoes or flip flops and they are wonderfully comfortable, arch support and heal airbag makes these great.

I love REEF products. I've bought them for years, but I didn't want the bottle opener on the bottom. I thought I ordered them without the opener, but we'll see how they hold up. Overall I'm happy.

I like the look and feel of the leather Fanning sandal. I feel there is a bit more stretch in leather as it conforms to my wide feet. I order about 3-4 per year and wear them non stop throughout the year. Usually within 12 - 24 months they are beat up and I'm unable to get the smell out of them and have to retire them according to my wife. The support is still there...but so is the smell. Great comfortable sandals right out of the box with great support and style too.

My husband had his first pair for 4 years before they finally gave in. Bought another pair and husband was super happy!

This is by far the most comfortable flip flop I have ever worn. Wish I would have seen the Dodgers flips first. Well it gives me another reason to shop with your amazing company. Thanks James Slater

I had previously purchased a pair that was not as comfortable. I saw this one and tried it. Good decision.

Bought the exact same style/pair in 2013 ~ just a lighter shade. Those finally bit the dust and just purchased these, which appear to be very close to the old ones - GREAT flips that last a long time with a lot of wear through the years!! They've endured lots of sand and walking!! Hope that this new pair lasts just as long!

Great style and very comfortable! Worn this model over a decade, and purchased many pairs. Only complaint is that the thong between your toe is definitely a cheaper version than the older version, which had leather and nylon thong. New version is nylon. Also past version was made in Vietnam, which I liked better, current version is made in China. Hope this newest pair hold up good, like the old ones made in Vietnam!
