This is my husband's third pair of Reef (fanning style) sandals. PROS: Reef consistently makes a quality sandal. Perfect for those with a narrow foot. Two tone leather adds style. Textured insole prevents your foot from "slipping" around inside the sandal, especially when your feet are wet. Air cushioned heel provides plenty of support and comfort. Bottle opener comes in handy! CON: Leather toe strap was a bit stiff upon initial wearing - conditioned it with leather lotion, which helped immensely. I've owned many pairs of this model over the years, they are the best. However, this was my first time purchasing online and the product looks nothing like the picture. Different colors for the most part but also some minor details.

I had a very old pair of Reefs which finally gave out after over 25+ years of use. I ordered the same size, but I have found out the new soles are about 1/8 " shorter - my feet are now "adjusting" to having just a little less "landing space". Also, the strap is just a little snugger - I can believe that my old ones did stretch over time, so not dinging the product for that. I still love the new ones.

Solid and good looking sandal. Very durable and easy to maintain. This is my third pair in 4 years. Only giving them 4 stars because the break in time takes a while, but after that they're great!

Great flip flop. Awesome fit. Great comfort especially at the heel. But, I needed more structure and padding for injured metatarsals. My original leather reefs were better in this area.

Bought for my husband. He loved them except for the bottle opener at the bottom. He thought they were pretty comfy....

Solid sandals and fairly comfortable. Holds up even when it gets a little wet. Bottle opener works well too.

Fallin apart where the toes meet but really comfortable

I had to customize my pair because the midfoot hurts when I wear it It's fairly painful before I customized it

Great sandal for the beach

Great shoes, a little stiff st first, but will mold to perfectly fit with a few wears.

The toe string is comfortable,as well as the footpad. Somehow I thought the footpad would be a soft leather, but it is a textured rubber. This is rough on my feet, but I am trying to get used to it.

Bert comfartable to walk! And with the lovely bottle opener. But my girlfriend misses the corkscrew! So only 4 stars

Product runs a tad large. I'm a size 12 and I should've gone down a size.

My flip-flops are wonderful, very comfortable, nice arch support.

I love these and believe them to be some of my most comfortable foot-wear. That said, I am confused why they are no longer offered with an all leather upper, rather than a leather/synthetic. Feel like this was a step back in quality. My old Fannings had leather on the outside and inside where the foot meets the upper. Wish you brought the old version back. That said, love my Reefs.

Great flops, although I ordered the wrong size...

Seem well made, comfortable. I've walked about 10 miles in these and have had no issues whatsoever. Seems to have decent arch support. Fit is good, I'm a 10.5W and the size 11 fit me pretty good. Would definitely go a half size up.

I ordered the leather fanning brown/brown which shows only straight stitching. I received a more of a brown/grey type of shoe with the zig zag stitching. Didn't have the time to return the shoe so I kept it. This is my second pair of these flip flops. They are very comfortable and very durable!!

Casual walk around sandals

I try and buy the best of everything that's in my price range. I love Oakley's, Nike's, Levi's ect.. So no Prada or Gucci. I became interested in Reef when I looked for quality sandals and they came up in several of my searches. There's so many sandals I didn't know which ones to try first. I picked the leather fanning. I wear a13 in men's and have wide feet. The fit was good. The overall quality was good. Style was nice. I would buy Reefs again and I would try a different style just to see what's out there. I'm happy with my purchase.

These were a gift for my 31 year son because he had always admired my old pair.
