I could never wear sandals with the toe thong, always was way to annoying and hurt my toes. Then my friend’s mom got me a pair of these sandals for my 21st birthday 3 years ago. My favorite sandal ever! My old ones are wearing out, so I decided to buy another pair. Stock up now because as you can see, the Fanning 2 is here. Awesome sandal, awesome comfort, always have a bottle opener, awesome looks. Only problems that are minor; they can absorb smell from sweaty feet at times, can squeak when your feet are wet while walking, fade in the foot bed a little too quickly. I still love these sandals, I look forward to summer now just so I can break them out again.

The most comfortable sandals I have ever owned and I've owned more than a few over 59 years...My only concern is the ornamentation on the top, bottom, and sides. It seems a bit over-the-top.

Best fitting thong sandal I've slid my foot in. Shipping was free. I ordered the sandals Friday night and had them here Monday afternoon! Couldn't believe the tracking info! I usually wear a size 13 in adidas and Nike shoes, but I saw the feedback on Zappos' page where 60% of people said they run a half size large and got a 12. Fits great. Now I just need to see if the built-in bottle opener in the bottom of the sandal works!

This is the best sandal you will ever wear. It is really comfortable and it also has the bottle opener on the bottom. This sandal has gotten me out of many bottle opening emergencies, if you know what I mean!

Great sandals!!! I bought the Fannings and have worn them every day since. Very soft feel and super comfortable. I read other reviews about them running big in size; I have to say that they were wrong. I am an 11 1/2 -12 and decided to order an 11 after reading other reviews. They were too small so I returned them and got the 12's and they were perfect. By the way, Zappos return policy is awesome; my new sandals came within 2 days.

The cushion sole makes it a flip flop you can wear all day. I was just in Florida and walked the entire beach (about 2 miles) in them with no problems at all. All the different colors make it hard to pick just one. Zappos has the best customer service ever...I tell everybody about this website.

Reef's Fanning - the best!
This is my second pair of these. They are so great; they "mold" to your foot and provide support and cushioning. Nice look, too. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes to live in flip-flops.

This is the third pair of Reef's I have owned. The first had the small flask in the heels. Not recommended, they tend to break and then you lose some of the support. The Fannings are awesome, and I will buy them again when these wear out (actually, I bought another pair and now have two as you gotta have two pair, right?) Only thing disappointing about the sandal was the color does not appear as bright as in the Zappos view of the sandal. But overall, very, very pleased.

This is my second pair of these! I wore my first pair for nearly 12 months and they finally wore out! The air sole in the heel makes them more comfortable than most and they seem to mold to the bottom of your feet after a few wearings. The bottle opener on the bottom is a great feature!

I love this sandal. I live in California so I wear them every day (except to church). I keep several pairs around. Work, dress and play. The bottle opener is more than novel because it comes in handy a lot. We go to the desert many times in a year to ride our bikes, buggies etc. And they are a necessity in the heat and sand. On my last order, I placed it late but Zappos helped get them to me so we could leave on time and I needed my Reefs.

These shoes are adorable, even cuter than the photo. I wear a 7 1/2 wide and with orthotics, I usually can work with a 7 1/2 double wide. I am going to re-order a 6 1/2 wide, these were huge! Color is perfect with all the reds in the stores right now. I rated the overall as a 4 because it was just not true to size.

I bought about 10 pairs of these for my husband. He loves them! There is another version of Reefs with the little flask in the shoe, but he said those are not nearly as comfy as the Fanning style. They do run huge, but we have figured it out and know what size to buy. He usually wears a 10 or 10.5. We get these in a 9 and they are fine.
