I've been wearing the terrain boot daily for several years at work and home and have found the comfort and support to be superior to other work shoes and boots I have worn in the past.

I got my first pair nine an half years ago. I wear them during the winter and rain, my feet stay dry. The first year I got into a flood an had to stand in 18 inches of water for awhile. I had no trouble with them after that but normal wear. The new ones fit fine. I don't no if they have changed other than the shorter laces which is good so they don't touch the ground after double knotting. I'll let you know how they work out. Thank you, Doug.

These boots are comfortable from the first day. No break in required. They are the best!

I absolutely love the Fatbaby boots. I've owned my favorite pair for over 10 years and decided to upgrade. (Old ones still feel great-just showing wear.) The fit is so comfortable. I'm now looking to purchase a pair in other colors.

This is a great choice if you want to ride, do groundwork and farm work without having to change boots. Sturdy, yet lightweight. Very comfortable. I'm on my feet for several hours a day and no tired, aching feet. Plenty of support and cushioning. One caveat, if you want to wear cushioned or thick winter socks, be sure to order up at least a half size or wider width. There is no extra room in the toe box, which could be more generously sized. These are good boots for the money.

Love them. A little narrow, but feminine and dope.

These are the most comfortable boots that I own! I especially like the roomy tire and built-in arch support.

Excellent every day boot. I wear all day riding, walking, working, hiking. Extremely comfortable, like these have always been.

This is my third pair of these exact boots because I love them so much. Each previous pair has taken me through 12 years of walking/hiking in rain, snow, ice, and mud, on rough terrain and asphalt. They have held up incredibly well and have kept my feet dry and warm. So why did I need three pair? The first pair went to my sister, after she borrowed them to hike the Appalachian Trail and did not want to give them back. The second pair were enjoyed by a couple of puppies who found the cubby in the mud room. So, a third pair (this time a different color) have arrived and I could not be more pleased. Do not change this style or construction - EVER!

Best work boots I've owned. I can wear them all day and my feet are never tired or hurting.

Bought this boot and it was broke in after a couple hours of wearing it. Happy with this purchase.

I bought my ramblers a little over three years ago and I've worn them for work, hiking, fishing, and a lot of walking. So I wear them over 40 hours plus every week since I got them and I walk about 30 miles a week. I love these boots and they have just recently started to wear out they have a hole in the sole of one that I fixed with gorilla tape and super glue. As well as a few holes in the leather no doubt cause by the salt they use in Vermont and New Hampshire on the side walks in the winter. So I'm shortly gonna have to retire them and will definitely get another pair when my size comes back in stock. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of working boots.

I bought my original boots from an outlet store in Gilroy CA. Within a few months they had early wear. I posted my review here and Ariat contacted me. They replaced my boots with new ones. I could see the thicker materials on the toe and generally better quality. I have been wearing them for barn work and they are holding up well. None of the problems that the other pair had. I have gone on urban hikes in freezing weather and my feet stayed warm. This spring on snowy/muddy hikes with no problem. The sole is not aggressive so I would be careful using them for really rocky terrain with slippery pebbles. For barn work and riding they are just what I wanted. Ankle support, water proof, and good for riding. Ariat is still my favorite brand and I am grateful they responded to my concerns.

The Ariat Terrain is the only boot I can wear. The wide toe box accommodates my arthritic toes comfortably. I love that they are waterproof. I wear them in all weather conditions. The price is very reasonable plus they last for years. Please don't ever change or discontinue them.

I have been wearing an Ariat boot of this style for probably twenty years. When one pair wears out, I go get another. I have always had brown but when i wanted a black boot to wear with black pants, I was excited to find a pair of the boots I love in black.

I had a similar Ariat pair for years- I work in the wholesale nursery business and am very demanding of my boots. I ordered this pair to finally replace the last one and it did not disappoint! The first day I wore them all day - no break in period. The 2nd day I pulled out the inner liner and put in my custom foot support - still a great fit and comfortable all day. I wear a size 9 in all shoes and these boots as well. These are true to size - it is a great, lightweight work boot, the bottom does not slip on icy surfaces - and yes, I will probably take hiking too.

It is my third pair of Terrain Waterproof boots. Longlife and good support at any work and riding. For riding maybe a bit heavy. Depends on what you are used to. Actually it offers a perfect combination.

They're so incredibly comfortable and super water proof, I stepped in a couple puddles at work and it covered the top of my toes almost up to the lacesSUPER well made.

Super comfortable! I sized down according to the size chart and I'm glad I did because they fit like a glove, or a really good boot ;) I took them for a hike in the desert on the day they arrived and I was happy with the breathability and comfort right out of the box

I got these boots for Christmas and I am just so happy with them! They are SO comfortable I wear them to work and easily do 10 hr shifts on my feet with no issues. I do find that the salt (I live in MI) makes them look run down but a little shine makes them look fresh out of the box. I am obsessed with my boots and will buy more, I have other Ariats that are also comfortable but they don't even compare to the comfort of these ones.
