Ariat makes a great boot but I am returning these for two reasons. The first is that they are very distressed but it doesn’t read black, it’s quite blue grey. Secondly they fit perfect but I can only get my high arch into the boot barefooted. They are so comfortable that probably would be okay but since I don’t love the color, back they go! Oh and side note, I have “athletic” calves and the shaft is plenty wide for those of you with similar issues lol

Got them for my wife who has only really owned cheaper quality shoes. The regular width was too narrow, I could've exchanged for a wider fit but she said the feel was too uncomfortable (more for 'formal' wear) and probably wouldn't use them very much at all. But, we both thought they were a beautiful pair of boots!

Love these!!! I ordered 4 different boots and these were the ones I decided to keep. They were a little lighter and the leather more matte than I expected, but they’re so comfy. I also liked how these fit closer/tighter to my calf and were the tallest of the ones I tried. Arrived already scuffed which I don’t like, but still a very nice boot!

I have a narrow foot. Before I had children I wore AA heels. Of course my foot is not that narrow now. I discounted all the reviews saying Ariat boots were very narrow because boots are fit thru the instep, not the heel. Unlike dress shoes, boots always feel a little loose in the heel. They don't need to grab in the back, they won't fall off. Also, different western boot manufacturers use different "lasts" so a Justin doesn't fit the same as a Tony Lama for instance. So I ordered a 6 1/2 B and a 7 B assuming one would fit. I couldn't get the smaller on and the larger was extremely tight. I am returning them and trying a C width.

I bought 2, Earth and Wicker, in 12EE. Wicker is slightly larger but it is manageable. Earth took a little longer to break in. Overall satisfied. I would buy black if I could find it.

I originally bought this boot in size 9M in ombre red. Beautiful, beautiful boot, and surprisingly comfortable. Just a litttttle too tight in the toe box for me, and I was worried it would cause numbness in the toes in my right foot, so I returned them. So I tried a 9.5 (way too big) and a 9C in the distressed brown. Also a beautiful color, but a strange fit: too wide in the heel, and tighter in the toe box and even more uncomfortable. I highly recommend you try them in M to see if they work for you, because they're beautiful boots, and definitely the most comfortable cowboy boot I've tried. If I hadn't been looking for something really specific, I'd have kept that first pair and given them a chance to break it.

Since I have a high instep and slightly wide forefoot, I normally wear a 7.5 W when I can find it and that is the size I got. These fit my foot comfortably. The reason I returned them was that the shaft of the boot was so big around the calf that it felt and looked kind of weird to me even when I had my jeans tucked into them.

I've had these boots for two years and wear them when riding my motorcycle. Typically, they might be worn twice a week from mid-spring thru mid-fall. Accordingly, the leather and soles are in really nice shape. However, those black rubber toe and heel caps......they are turning into a nice gooey black mess on both shoes. If you touch it with your fingers, better get some Lava bar soap or GOJO Waterless Mechanics hand cleaner to get the stuff off. In technical terms, the polymer material is breaking down (i.e., separating) into whatever petrochemicals it was formed from. Yea, it's bad and the product should be avoided.

I have been wearing these boots over a year and they have been through lots mud and rugged terrain but the welt stitching goes through the bottom tread, what is with that. The stitching is has been massacred because of the open stitching on the bottom. Overall good boot but the open stitching is a downside.

i got a pair in November 2016. i found them very food boots. i would wear them every day. about in april, i started noticing holes in the soles. i was thinking it was just wear and tear, so i bought a pair of dr. sholls soles to put in them and ended up foing through those within 15 days, and just kept trying new ones. this November i got a new pair of boots, this time i got the heritage dappers. i have not had any problems yet, but i love both.

I bought these for horseback riding I bought wides but they are still a bit too narrow. I don’t know if they would be comfortable walking around a lot. But so far so good for riding. I am hoping they will stretch a bit.

These were my first pair of boots I got and they are very comfortable and fit well! Quality boot from a quality company, great boot for the price! Only complaint is that the sole gets smooth and are starting to squeak but that might be just a problem from where I am wearing them.

I love love love these boots. I have wide, yet tiny, feet so it's tough to find quality boots that also fit my minuscule feet, but I sized down about a full size and they are probably the most comfortable boots I've owned. Very pleased.

I bought these two years ago and I wear them more than any other shoe or boot I own. the only problem I have is since they have hard heels and outsoles my feet hurt after about 2 hours standing in them. but as long as you Clean and oil them often they will last ya. I have the 13ee and it's still a tad narrow but feels good

I wore holes in the heritage roper working in them all day, but wanted more of a traditional cowboy boot look this time. The leather is more stiff than the roper, and is taking more time to break in, but do believe they've already started molding to my feet. Also, harder to get on and off than the roper, but of course, that is the cowboy boot way. While slightly less comfortable than the roper, I am quite happy with them overall, and love the look.

My first pair of Terrain H20's made it just over two years, but the small rubber flap of the sole that extends up over the toe came loose on both boots and I glued them back in place with Shoe Goo twice. With the exception of the toe, they have worked very good including working on metal roofs at a 6/12 pitch. I have worn Timberland's for years, but could never get more than one year out of a pair of boots, so two years is great. I wear them six days a week as we are a volunteer construction ministry. I did send an email and some pictures to corporate Ariat asking them to consider stitching that rubber flap onto the toe. Very comfortable right out of the box.

Still need to break them in a bit but pretty comfortable so far. Just wish the lining were leather like another pair of Fatbaby boots I own.

I think theses boots are great and are becoming my favorite to wear. Very true to size and the breaking in doesn't hurt as much as my other boots.

I bought this for My husband as a gift and they were to slim for his feet even in the EE wide. So I had to return but everything else about the boot was awesome. He loved the color and the feel just a little to narrow for his feet.

I wear the fatbabu original boots for work. I work 60 plus hours a week. These boots are light and comfortable. Unfortunately, given my working conditions they wear out in about 3 months. Still, because of their level.of comfort ,they are the only work boots I use.
