I've had my pair for 2 years and I've been pretty hard on them...I maybe waterproofed them once and they've been trudged through deep mud, wet sand, completely soaked, stepped on, etc etc...and theonlythingwrong isthat the leather is starting to crack! I'm getting another pair and giving them a bit more TLC...let's see how long my next pair lasts! :)

I wear these like crazy. They're super comfy from day one and sturdy. I get complements on how cute and feminine they are all the time! I love Ariat FatbabiesAnd ownseveralpairsbut this my favorite pair.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. I am an English rider and have a pair of Ariat paddock boots as well, but these are by far the best pair of riding/walking/whatever-the-heck-you-want-to-do footwear Ihaveeverowned. Ibought them because I work at a trail riding place and my boss raved about how awesome her Fatbabies were, and how her feet weren't fatigued after a 13 hour day of riding and walking. I was a little wary because I've always worn construction boots, but when the sole started to seperate on my pair of Dickies I decided to take the Ariat plunge. I couldn't be more pleased. I put them on and wore them for 16 hours the first day (trail riding, and then we went to a local fair; LOTS of walking) and I didn't get one blister and my feet didn't hurt one bit. The jarring pain (that happened in my feet) of jumping off a horse really fast also disappeared! I love them!

Love these! I get compliments on them all the time! I wear a 10 in most shoes. I don't normally wear a wide but did order a 10 wide in these based on other reviews and they are perfect!

I like Ariat products and have tried them on at local stores. I thought these would be great when I put the left one on, but the right one was way too snug. It was difficult to get on like the other reviewers said, but the one boot was definitely tighter through the toe box and the instep. They were nice looking, good quality leather. Sadly have to return them.

This is my second pair of Ariat boots (I have the same one in a different color). I love these boots. Not only do I get lots of compliments on them, they were also instantly comfortable with no break-in period (not a small feat because I have temperamental feet). I usually wear either a 6.5 or 7, but the 6.5 is right for me with these.

Right out of the box these boots were so comfortable! I wore them on a trip to Atlanta and didn't want to take them off, my feet never hurt and no break in period needed. I wore other shoes and my feet were hurting, and I couldn't wait to put these back on. Don't hesitate to buy these!

Put them on and wore them all day! They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly, some other Ariat a an arch that is a bit to o high and not these. They look great. I bought these for barn work and got a pair in black for dress. I'm 66 and like a good looking boot but a number of younger (in their 20's) women have stopped me to ask where I got them. I'll wear the black ones with skirts and pants.

I've been doing a lot of research to find the perfect versatile, distressed brown cowboy boot and this is it! Love them! Very comfortable, I could and will be walking around all day in these. I think they will only get better with time. The height is refectory. If you are looking for a boot that makes your legs look skinny, look no further. They come up about mid calf and have lots of room and a cute design on the top. Great with jeans, leggings or a dress.

Always wanted a pair of cowgirl boots. With a stroke of luck, my first choice from Zappos worked out. Botts went on smooth, fit great, looked great, the distressed brown (true) leather looks wonderful with either jeans or a floral dress. Yee haw!

City slicker meets cowboy boots! I love these. I also bought Ariat Legend, but I liked the Heritage R toe much better, so I sent the Legends back. I'm a 9.5 and that's what I ordered and they fit beautifully. I suggest researching how you properly size cowboy boots.
The distressed brown is gorgeous and the comfort is very impressive. I love them! And I love the quick shipping from Zappos, and the ease of returns.

I am not a fan of online clothing or shoe purchases because without trying them on you just never know and I just don't have time to deal with returns. But Holy Cow, was my experience with Zappos incredible! The boots looked good in the picture - in person, they are beautiful. My daughter is between a 8 1/2 and 9 and I thought I read a review that they ran big so I ordered a 8 1/2. They were too small. The return process was incredibly easy, customer service was incredibly nice and professional and I had her size 9 boots in hand even before they credited and rebilled the new ones because Christmas was a few days away. I have a relatively wide toe area and a somewhat narrow heel, but these boots fit me well in the normal (not wide) width. I have worn them for several hours at a time and found the footbed to be well cushioned and supportive. They look like the photos shown. I wear them around town.
