I've been wearing these boots almost exclusively for well over a year. I wear them to town, on our farm, and on horseback. I've walked many miles in them, danced in them, and climbed a mountain in them. They are one of the best things I have ever invested money in. They look wonderful with dresses, jeans, or skirts and the Russet Rebel color is perfectly grand! Many strangers have complemented me on my boots, but even better than that is the protection they have given my feet and ankles while riding through tough brush (the kind that tears my jeans) without becoming too torn or scratched to clean up and wear to town! I'm planning on buying another pair soon. Please Ariat, never stop producing this style

I bought these boots about a month ago and I love them. They were stiff for the first two-three days but after that they were super comfortable. They are beautiful too, and they go with alot of my outfits. Work or play these are great boots.

I recently started volunteering at a stable and had to buy my first pair of boots. I had always heard great things about Ariat so I decided to find a pair. At one boot store the size 10 boots in the Fatbaby Ariats didn't come close to fitting. I went somewhere else and tried a pair on cause I really wanted them! They fit at the second store I went to! The one's that didn't fit had to be marked with the wrong size.... I am so glad I searched and tried on the same boot at another store. They fit wonderful and are so comfortable! I was worried I would have blisters but nope, even after walking in circles giving pony rides for 6 hours then cleaning up the barn they are still comfy... Super comfy and cute with the ruffled leather decoration. I will DEFINITELY be getting another pair when these wear out.

This is the 4th pair of Ariat boots I have owned. Being a PHYSICAL THERAPIST, I know just how important good footwear is to an individual's all over health. I recommend them to my clients & to anyone else who will put up with my soapbox "lectures" on this subject.

These were my first ever pair of boots I've had. I got them freshman year of high school and I've loved them as much now if not more as a freshman in college. Rugged, dependable, tough, comfortable, eye-candy. The day I need new boots, I would definitely buy another pair of Ariats. Best boots ever.

Nice boots.
Not my dream cowgirl boot but still look good with jeans and fit well. Felt very stiff out of the box but didn't hurt or rub when I wore them for a full day. Nice to have the wide width availability.

Bought these boots in 2013 during a vacation in the States. They were a little bit stiff at first but they wore in quickly and now they're so perfectly fitted to my foot. I wear them a lot. They've never given me blisters, or made my feet sore. I don't actually use them for work, just around the house/town but after 2 years of constant wear they look hardly worn. Will definitely buy another pair of similar boots next time I visit!

LOVE them! I have a plate in my ankle so it's a tough fit for boots; I got the 7.5 C for a wider fit and they slip right on, don't rub at all, and I wore them all day the first day with no blisters or rubbing. Best pair I have ever bought.

I have had these boots in distressed brown for over 2 years now and they still look and feel just as great as the day I opened the box. I've worn these boots for many occasions from horseback riding to going out at night to social events. These boots have a classic timeless look. I love these boots.

Oh my goodness I absolutely love these boots! Granted I have never owned a pair, but they are the epitome of what comes into my mind when I think of the word, and they are super comfortable! The first time I wore them was for a wine walk - and granted it was more of a four hour meander, but I did not have any rubbing or soreness, even on my calves. They are the perfect color and seem like they will last a long time. If you are having trouble deciding, just get them!

While searching for a new pair of cowboy boots online, I came across these Ariat Fatbabies. I am somewhat of a "cowboy boot connoisseur" and also really hate to spend my hard-earned money, so I immediately looked over the product description with eagle eyes and thought about purchasing them long and hard. I finally caved. I'd never bought a pair of Ariats before but I'd heard good things about them. So I waited, and waited, and waited for them to come... Finally. A shoe box-sized package on my doorstep. Eagerly I tore through layers of cardboard and out came the magnificent Fatbaby. No, really. I've had Roper brand boots (which were lovely, by the way, before they resorted to making nothing but man made stuff) and also Justin boots, but the leather quality on these Fatbabies is SUPERB. It's soft, pliable, and oh so gorgeous. I took in the sight of its shiny blackness before trying them on. Wow. I can walk in these babies all day. They felt almost broke-in right from the start. Also keep in mind that I'm cursed with hereditary foot pain, which means that after standing for oh, about an hour, I'm done. Somebody give me a drink and let me crash my butt into the nearest convenient spot. Not the case with these boots - they really are comfortable! Not to mention the compliments I've gotten on the sharp and smart contrast of black leather and pink/purple/blue stitching (not sure if Ariat still offers these in the multi-colored stitching). Would definitely recommend! Of course, like the true connoisseur, I have to come up with a complaint. Oh here's one... I have size 9.5 feet, and the round toe makes my feet look bigger and bulkier than they really are. I definitely favor square toe boots. But who cares. These babies are dressy. They fit true to size. The quality is evident. What's not to love? Great job with these boots, Ariat.

I bought these boots a year ago. I love them. I never thought cowboy boots could be this comfortable. They have the same awesome technology inside as my Ariat English Paddock boots. Definitely recommend.

I have had these for 2 years and they are still in great shape! I have been through thick and thin in these boots. I traveled from Washington to the Grand Canyon and they are just the best boots ever! I have to buy another pair because these are the best boots ever, in my opinion!

This boot was great as far as it fit my wide calf, but it runs really big. I normally fit a 7 1/2 but my heel didn't even touch the back of the boot so I had to return for a smaller size.

I bought the distressed brown as my first pair of cowboy boots and I absolutely LOVE them.......so I went out and bought a 2nd pair! They didn't have the Red Deertan in my size at my local store in Ottawa so I got them shipped in from Calgary, they were the perfect size. That's what I love about Ariat: their sizes are totally consistent. Because of how much I loved the footbed and everything, I now have 2 pairs of Cowboy boots, winter paddock boots, summer paddock boots and tall boots....it's safe to say that I ADORE Ariat.

I have wanted red boots since I was a teen. Last month, I got these before I was too old to wear them. They are a little stiff, like you could really ride a horse wearing them rather than just fashion boots, but the insoles are super comfortable and the soles flexible. I had a little pinching around my bunion, but I just dabbed some alcohol on them and wore them with socks. By the end of the day, it had loosened up. I wear them with skinny jeans or boot cut jeans. They'd look great with dresses, but I don't want to look like Annie Oakley. I wear an 8 B, and that's what I got. For me, they fit fine.
I'd also recommend:

I prefer my regular All Terrains which are lighter and cooler than this model. However, All Terrains soak up moisture and are a poor choice for wet conditions. That's when I switch to this boot. It is hot! It is sturdy! It is immediately broken in and comfortable and has kept its good looks over years of tough use. I keep them waterproof with Snow Seal. Like the All Terrain it won't track mud and manure into the house but it grips rocks and terrain. No grip on snow and ice. Great hiking boot otherwise.
