Mephisto Heidi - I use Mephisto Heidi as my house shoes for the last ten years. I have flat feet and wear orthotics in my regular shoes. Mephisto Heidi has an excellent arch support and is very comfortable. I hope Mephisto makes them forever; I just keep replacing the worn ones with the new.

Another great pair of Mephistos! This is my second pair of this style. I wore the first pair in black for 6-7 years. I have 8 pairs of Mephistos, love all of them. There is nothing better if you have back problems. I like this style because I can wear them with socks in the house during winter. Very confortable on tile floors. Excellent arch support. The best shoes for travel. I also love shopping at Zappos because they are so good about returns and exchanges. I have a difficult foot to fit, 9 1/2 narrow and sometimes it takes several tries to get the right one.

Wearing Mephisto Sandals - I am very pleased with my recent purchase of another Mephisto sandal. This one called Heidi. The fit was right and the style quite all round in that they can be worn with or without socks. This is possible because of the adjustable straps. I have other Mephisto styles and find the fit very comfortable because of how they conform to my feet with use.

My second pair - I wore my first pair out, as I wore them a lot because they felt so good. I tried some other brands, but nothing fit like the Mephisto's. I'm glad they're still available. I'd give them 6 stars for comfort.

Better than Birkenstocks - I have worn Birkenstocks for years and my last pair died about a month ago. My sister in law has foot problems like mine and she loves Mephistos, so I though I'd give them a try. I am now sold on Mephisto. It has better arch support for me and a cushionier feel. I wear this style around the house instead of slippers.

A must! I had worn through a pair of Mephisto Three Strap sandals and decided to try the two strap ones and am very pleased and relieved. I have a high arch and love the comfort of the Heidi sandal. They are a perfect heel height also for me. I had broken my leg 10 years ago and need to be very careful not to have too high or too low of a heel as it will cause my leg to cramp up at night. I can wear the Heidi sandal all day without any cramping in the night. Thank you Mephisto!

Tiger with Blue Eyes - I had big-time feet problems since I can remember. Extremely High arches, hammer toes, numbness on the bottoms and tops in spots and very small in size for my height. I got my first pair of Heidi's in 1999 and loved them so much that I designed my first tattoo (ref above) for the top of my foot in the space between the straps. Wow did that hurt. But my sandals have been great for my foot problems. I had them completely re-soled last year... Now I plan to get another pair before they are no more. I had the nubuck tan which they don’t carry anymore. Tattoo was a lifelong decision and so are the sandals that go with it. Thanks!

Relief - I have troublesome feet that are narrow in the heel, really sore in the forefoot and heel and wide across the toes. Plus, I have a really high arch. After trying a zillion sandals that hurt my feet, I am Delighted with the Heidi. Sweet comfort and support. Not a "darling little sandal" but one I wear all day without pain! I wear a 71/2 so the European 8 is perfect. Thank you, Mephisto!

Mephisto’s Heidi - This shoe was my first pair of Mephisto’s. I love 'em! They're terrific for summer, and are extremely comfortable. Good for my not-so-good feet. Great arch support, just a little narrow for my wide feet, but certainly not uncomfortable. True to size. Zappos is my shoe store now.

Great sandal - Slightly narrower than I thought...excellent arch support and extremely well made. These sandals will last me for years to come. They look good with shorts, skirts, or capris. Order up a size...usually wear a 9, but with Mephisto’s, I take a 10.

Love this shoe - It is very comfortable and stylish. Wear it for a long day or a short jaunt...fantastic.

Very happy - I have a pair of Birkenstock (Arizona) and really liked it, but found it to not be as comfortable after a while. Friends recommended Mephisto and I have a couple of pairs and love their products. It's a bit narrow to start out, but does stretch after use and will fit better.

I very disappointed on this design. I have been wearing Mephistos for about 20 years and these are not sized well. They are short but going up a size is not the solution as they then cut into your feet, and do not fit well at all. I have to rethink buying Mephistos.

I was looking for an around the house shoe and wanted to love these. After 2 days, however, my 5th toes became so sore. Now, 3 weeks later, I still cannot wear a shoe on my right foot that even remotely touches my 5th toe. Zappos, however, has been fabulous about the return and will definitely keep my business.
