AngelII - Bought these last minute before my cruise. Thought a lower heel might be needed. Glad I did, Formal night was during hurricane Isabell. I was at least able to walk with grace without too much grabbing onto rails and people. At least I didn't end up with a leg/ankle injury. The black patent looked good with my gown.

Hush Puppies Angel II Review - These shoes are for my daughter and for the first 5 days they were great. They started to hurt after that so I am going to take them to the shoe makers and see if they can fix them. They were great in the beginning.

Low heel.. best available. I have no desire to wear uncomfortable shoes. Dressing up for an evening should not mean blistered heels and painful toes. In the daytime, I wear Eccos: Soft V for work, and Cosmos for casual. Unfortunately Ecco doesn't make a low heel that doesn't look like a carpenter box, so I stick with the HushPuppies. I have used this basic style Hushpuppy since the late 80's before it was reworked and given the "II". When I was younger, slender, and used to ballroom dance, I had a pair in every color. Efforts to find comfortable heels made by other manufacturers have been a waste of money. Finding Zappos, where I can order every color in a Wide has been a real find. I wish Hush Pupppies would expand the colors and uppers available. I really need some mid-tone browns, and make some with more dressy uppers, but on the same basic shoe bottom. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7 shoe, but in the wide, have to go with a 6. I walked right out of the 6 1/2 wide, and had to return. Not sure if the sizes have changed, as the size numbers have worn out of my old dance shoes.

Shopping for shoes made easier. Zappos is my store for shoes. I was looking for a good looking dress shoe that would fit, look great and be comfortable too. I have wide feet and I was pleased to have found my size as well. The Hush Puppies's Angel II was my first pair. I will be a regular customer. Thank you, Zappos for making shopping for shoes a pleasure, especially the hard to find sizes. One more thing, my order arrived in 3 days. Thank you again.

Wear them, You'll like 'em, Hush Puppies's Angel II! The Hush Puppies's Angel II is a pretty and very comfortable shoe. Nice at home and around and about. Feels like a Bally.

Comfortable AND attractive - I LIKE these shoes. The heel is just high enough to be attractive, and low enough for comfort. They work well for driving, standing and walking. After getting my first pair and experiencing the comfort level, I ordered more in two other colors.

Length was good. width felt a little tight but I like them and will adjust.

THE SHOE WAS BIG, BUT NARROW IN THE FRONT PRESSING ON THE TOES

I like these pumps very much. I got them in black patent which makes them extra pretty I think. I did put an extra 3/4 inner sole in as my ankle bone was rubbing on the side of the shoes, which is a problem I have had in the past with other shoes. But that did the trick and the shoes seem quite comfortable now. I have not worn heels in a long time but need some for an upcoming wedding and for concerts with an orchestra in which I play.

These look pretty but the back is too wide and they come off while walking which is uncomfortable. I have plantar fasciitis, wide and flat feet. I ordered wide and the front is ok, but the back is too wide.

My favorite style! However, while overall the fit is good, it’s loose around the heel and tends to slip off which is both a nuisance and a fall hazard. Yes, I can try to find something to pad the heel, but it’s sad that customers have to come up with makeshifts in order to get a good, comfortable, overall fit. I got a navy and black pair and both have the same problem. Will probably look for a different brand next time.

These shoes look cute on, but a little tight at first. The footbed has some seams that I can feel but I’m hoping with wear they will be less noticeable.

The heel height caused my knees to hurt terribly. But the overall fit was great. Will save to wear after knee replacement.

The heel height is prohibitive at present, but I think after knee replacement, it will be fine.

Overall I am pleased with the quality of this shoe and will exchange it for a half size.smaller. The 9 1/2- was too big. I ordered based on my usual athletic shoe fit.

These shoes in red look great. The toe bed is a little narrow. Maybe after a summer of wearing sandals, I was no ready for a shoe. So I'm wearing them around the house with thin socks to break them in.

I do have wide feet, and for a dress shoe that I'll have to stand, walk and maybe dance in I wanted comfort. Since these come in wide I probably could've ordered a half size smaller than my athletic shoe size, but I'm putting a little adhesive pad in the front under my toes, so now they are more comfortable and not too big. There is very little if any arch support or cushioning in this shoe.

So far so good. Like the look and feel. We'll see after a few wears if they are still narrow enough.

These were just too loose in the heels.
