I ordered this in the Burnt Copper. It is very beautiful, and unexpectedly, has many hints of gold. Sadly, the treatment of the leather feels scratchy; since the straps are also a bit tight on me, I am going to have to reorder these in a plain color to obtain the typical Naot comfort and softness.

Naot Sandal Footwear - Recently I was introduced to Naot. I was looking for a fun, durable and COMFORTABLE walking sandal. Naot fits all of those requests. The shoe looks just a bit chunky, but the fit is so right for my arch, that the walk is VERY comfortable. The footbed is cut to nestle your foot, so you do need a 1/2 size larger than you may normally buy. I recommend these shoes for traveling where your shoes must serve many purposes, conditions and events.

A nice walking shoe - The shoe is comfy, but it takes a while to break in as the straps do not fall in the right place for my foot. But I love the look of the shoe

Comfy but lacks a bit of style - This is a fairly comfortable sandal if you tend to have feet problems. I do wish it had a little more arch support. I also wish this brand would make a shoe that was a bit more stylish but also offered comfort. If Naot would make a stylish shoe that I could put my orthotics in, I would be their best customer!

Pretty good for the most part - Though the size 37 is supposed to be the equivalent of a US size 6, mine still feel a little large. They are still very comfy though, and well worth the money just for that.

Naot is amazing - I have a couple of pairs that fit like clouds on my feet (and have lasted years), but these sandals sadly did not fall into that category. My feet are on the wider side, which in my other Naot shoes is not a problem at all, but these sandals don't work (straps are super tight on my pinky toe). The footbed is dreamy, and if you have narrow feet these sandals might work for you. As for the style, I found these look a little underwhelming in person, nothing special. Still love Naot and will be back :)

I really want these sandals to work! They're comfortable and great quality. And I love the color and the strap placement is perfect. However, these run really wide at the top of the foot (I have a moderately wide upper foot but with a narrower heel and high instep) and they make my feet appear very duck-like and large. They placement around the the foot of the stitching gives the illusion of a wider foot too. Going to exchange for a smaller size and see if that works better because overall I like these. FYI: I usually wear a size 8, occasionally I like my summer sandals about a half inch larger but this time I will try to size down to the size 7.5/38.

I was a bit disappointed in the comfort. I bought these specifically on the recommendations written and also from a friend who has Naot sandals. One comment mentioned the tightness on the strap that goes across the little toe. I should have listened! But being optimistic, I did not and had the same issue. I kept them thinking it will stretch. Well, to date it has not and they were not the sandals that I hoped to wear throughout my trip to England. I will continue to wear them as long as I can take them off in a few hours! Still hoping for that comfort everyone is writing about!

I ordered these shoes as I was looking for a truly all round sandal for traveling. I mean truly all round: go with business casual, wear it out to dinner, to the beach, trekking with elephants, walking cobblestone streets, everything I do while traveling. I bonded mentally with these shoes, as I was just walking the streets of Paris last month, sigh. This shoe was close because: 1. whoa man, the sole was super comfy 2. the straps are cute and stylish, but not too fancy 3. I loved the French Roast colour This shoe got sent back though, because the straps across the midfoot gave me unsightly bulges. Wow, I hadn't realized I had muffin-top on my foot! So embarrassing. (and likely this would cause blisters and get worse as my feet got hot) I am trying to replace my old Clarks sandals, (don't know the model, but a slide style), and they were perfect at 8.5.

After returning a pair of Reikers to purchase these Naots in black, I was looking forward to the comfort mentioned in so many of the reviews I read about Paris. These do help me in my decision making process. I was just as disappointed as I was with the customer representative who handled my exchange process, which has never happened before with Zappos. I always rave about their customer service because they normally rock! The straps on the upper part of the foot are extremely tight across the toes and the foot bed area in the same area is narrow. If you have narrow feet, then these are your shoes. I normally wear an 8½ medium and ordered an 8, but I think a 9 would be too long. Since they do not have the half sizes, then this perhaps could be part of the problem. For this amount of money, they should fit perfectly.

Loveliest sandal. Leather straps stretched in one season and grew too large for me. My foot is thin and these were always too large, better for thick feet/ankles.

These are neither wide nor long enough. They ran small in length. I ordered a 40 and I am a size 9 and they did not fit. They also were not wide enough. I am between a wide and regular and they were too tight. They are still adorable.

Cute shoe, good fit. However, due to a foot problem, the footbed was not soft enough for me, Harder than my other Naots.

Naot Paris - I was prepared to be excited about this shoe, in my quest for a comfortable sandal, but had to return it. I found that my foot kept sliding forward, even though the shoe was actually on the narrow side for me, and I had to tighten the ankle strap to feel the sandal would stay on, which hit me in a spot which seemed it would become painful. Too bad there is no toe grip to keep your foot in place. The footbed was very supportive but I thought these sandals would drive me out of my mind with constant adjustment. Zappos service was fantastic. I had my shoes the next day even ordering late in the afternoon!

The metal color is a lot more attractive than I thought it would be. Online it looks like a dirty wash but it's fully metallic and silverish. The 35 is not a size 4 so I was disappointed with the fit.

I bought these fantastic sandals three summers ago at a local store. I wore them out and let them go, and tried to buy a new pair last summer in the same size, same color (11, black Madras leather). The sizing was off and the fit wasn't as good. Happened to be at the local store a few months later and they said Naot changed production and that's why my shoes were different. Not sure if they sold or if the shoes are made in a new country or what. Anyway, because I regret throwing away those sandals, I tried again this year. The 11 was too small in the toe box and my heel was almost hanging off. I have never in my life worn a 12, but I did do an exchange this time and, while better, the shoe isn't what it used to be. The toe is still tight and the stitching at the edge of the shoe looks cheap. I'd rather spend money on a different sandal (and brand) that I will love. Back these go.

These are cuter in person than in the photos. Also wonderfully lightweight with a nice flexible footbed, a good heel height and comfortable rise. They'd be great for walking. But my outer toes sit on the unfortunately wide and hard stitching, which is not comfortable at all. I'm sure I'll regret it if I don't return these although they in every other way are precisely what I am looking for.

I hate when this happens. I already own the Paris in copper metallic, purchased a year ago, and they are super comfortable. In fact I just bought Naot's replacement footbed inserts for them and they feel brand new again! Since I love them so much I thought that I would buy a darker color but this new pair of French Roast brown Paris Naots feels way too tight. The leather straps that criss-cross over the front of my foot are so tight that I can barely get my foot in the shoe. Additionally, my little toes seem to hit the edge of the outer sole when I walk and it hurts. I wonder if this is just a flukey pair? Sometimes that happens. I am contemplating buying another pair to see if perhaps they will fit me OK. I do have rather big feet, but why does my old pair fit me so wonderfully while these kill my feet?

The shoe hits my foot in the bottom of my ankle and rubs hard against it when I walk. It is also too big (not adjustable) in forefoot. Cute shoe but did not fit.

I returned these. I thought online they looked really cute/stylish - when I got them on my feet - I did not feel that way. First off, there was no 7.5, so I ordered a 39 (equivalent supposedly to an 8 medium) - they were huge. They looked matronly, almost like shoes for someone who has foot problems. The color also was not what I was expecting. In real life the 'metal leather' shade appeared like a bronzy/brown/ugly color (I thought they would be more silver looking mixed with gray/black). The way the top is stitched around the edges looks 'unfinished' cheap. I still cannot get over the price as well $163.07 for these is outrageous truly. I don't think they are worth more than $ 20.00 - 30.00 tops. They are overpriced, and I was lured in by many reviews that made them sound so great....Returned these immediately.

I love these! I have a hard-to-fit foot (size 5, wide forefoot with a narrow heel, high instep) and have a hard time finding shoes that work. Even if I can find sandals in size 5, I typically end up with a scraped big toe (from sandals that are too narrow) or a blistered heel (from sandals that are too loose in back). I was thrilled to discover the Paris several years ago and have gotten pairs in various colors since. They look nice and are easy too walk in. They seem to run a little long: the first time I bought a pair, I got a 36 (described as equivalent to US size 5). Those were a little too long; since then, I get size 35 (described as equivalent to US Women's 4), which fit perfectly. At this point, they are my default sandal, and I hope they never stop making them!

Like the fit and style of this sandal that I own several pair.

the foot bed insert has a generous arch but they are also removeable if I need go substitute my custom orthotics

I love these sandals. They are cute and comfortable, and I wear them with jeans as well as with more formal dress. I wear a size 11 and the fit was perfect. The sandals also don't make my feet look huge, which is one my concerns. I use orthotics, and these sandals are perfect, because I just took out the insole and replaced it with the orthotics. I had these made last year to fit my other Naot Sandals. I just used those orthotics for these sandals. Great!
