Definitely runs large. I wear a size 39 and really wish I had gotten a 38. However in EVERY OTHER SHOE I wear a 39 : (... unless a brand runs large. Very comfortable and easy to walk miles and miles in these sandals! I wear these without complaint and literally walk all day. Recommend!

Returning because they are uncomfortable on my pinky toes

I wear 12M. Regretfully, I returned this sandals because I didn't like the insole finish, the leather is sewed over the insole, leaving a leather trim that surrounds the feet uncomfortably.

I bought this and Kayla. These shoes are definitely not as stylish as the kayla, they look like birkenstocks but fancier, the inside leather was rubbing on my feet. When I took the Kayla's off and put these on they weren't as comfortable and soft, they do have a good grip on your feet though. I think they are good for everyday use perhaps but not long walking. They do seem sturdier than the Kayla. I'm returning them. I usually wear a size 9-10 in shoes and I had to get a 10 (41). I have bunions and it didn't seem to bother it.

I ordered a 40 and found the shoe a little long and a little wide. Normally I'm a 9 (sometimes an 8.5) You might try sizing down if you are at all between sizes.

I have bought the Paris Naot sandal for many years, starting in 2007. I bought them because I walked about 5-6 miles per day and I was having trouble with plantar fasciitis. My doctor recommended Naots for support. They were my absolute favorite sandals. For shoes with fantastic support they were stylish and incredibly comfortable. The black patent and peacock leather colors looked dainty and had shimmer that made them appropriate to wear with dresses. I felt they were well worth the price and I raved about them so much that I convinced my mom and several friends to purchase them. Unfortunately, I need to reevaluate my strong support of this sandal. I was terribly disappointed when the pair I ordered this year (2016) arrived. The black patent was just as stylish and attractive as always; but, when I wore them around my house on the day they arrived and noticed the support is not the same as it used to be. My left arch and ankle actually began hurt and I had to remove them. I'm severely disappointed because I will have to return them and will have to hunt for another dressy but supportive sandal.

This is a very pretty shoe. The length is perfect. The instep support is great. The reason I am returning them... the front straps in the shoe box area are too low or short to accommodate my toes comfortably.

Fabulous fitting sandal! Lucky for me...it runs a tad wide. Because of the width I need to get the 7.5 instead of the 8. Wish it came in more options for lighter colors...just this taupe. The photo makes this color look for vanilla...think taupe.

Nice looking sandal. Fits great, soft foot bed. I felt like the shoe was on the narrow side (I generally don't need a wide). Because of the removable footbed, my foot slid sideways into the little crack between the footbed and the strap over the toes. Blister potential, so they went back.

I really liked the photo but was disappointed when I received them. They look orthotic - old lady style to me. I wear a 10, and the 10 was a bit snug in the toe area. The shoe bed curves up on the sides and the straps rub against my baby toe. It did look like they were well made, though. I am returning them. I love Zappos and their ease of shipping and returns!

Very nice-looking sandals that seem very comfortable for walking. The removable footbed wasn't comfortable on the edges of my feet, although the description claims that improves over time. I decided to return because of that, and because the rim of the shoes extends beyond the edges of my feet. That means the sandals are more stable for walking, but also adds to the overall width appearance-wise.

This was so comfortable. Unfortunately it showed too much toe for my comfort. they have to go back. If I had a longer food it would have worked better.

I have extremely high arches and unfortunately the front straps hit my foot at a very uncomfortable spot so I'm forced to return them. The shoes are beautiful otherwise and well-made. Very disappointing!

Light weight, comfortable shoes with enough of a heel that I feel nice. The look is pretty casual but pretty enough for skirts and summer dresses.

Loved these in the photo, but stitching around the edges of the footbed where the black wraps around rubbed my insole and little toe immediately when I put them on. This stitching detail also made the sandals seem wider than expected. Stylish and versatile, I had high hopes for Naot, but these have to go back for some sandals without the stitching.

I carefully sussed out reviews, I have picky feet! Ordered brown and black, preferred brown shade, but the cut was slightly different, and little toe got caught in brown version. Black pair pretty walkable, and relatively attractive.

I ordered these sandals wanting to put my custom orthotics from my podiatrist in them because they have a removable insole, but unfortunately the footbed around the toes was too narrow for my toes. I have bunions and bunionettes on each foot. The placement of the strap across the toes was okay for my bunion, but my bunionette was up on the rim of the edge of the footbed because it was too narrow. The styling wasn't as cute as I had hoped. It was not quite an old lady shoe, but somewhat in that direction. The quality of the leather and the construction of the shoe were otherwise very good. Consistent with this brand.

I had to return these unfortunately because of my strange toes. I have short, chubby, curved third and fourth toes. I don't like to show them off so I struggle to find comfortable sandles with good strap coverage that look cute too. These leave all but my small toes completely exposed. Other than that, they felt like they would be very comfortable. I'm really sad to send them back.

Well I am not sure yet, still wearing them around the house to make sure. But so for so good, my orthodics fit in them, and that was my main goal. To have a pair of dressing sandals that i could wear with my orthodics. I wish the top straps across the toes were adjustable also!

I'm the wide side of 9 1/2 so outer strap continues to eat my little toe Fell off them a couple of time walking around Italy. Bottoms comfy but ended up wearing my minimalist Cydwoqs with better results

Super comfortable, and a little dressier than most Naot sandals, with the small heel. I'm a little concerned that the leather will stretch out over time, but I've always had good experiences with Nato.

This shoe is very pretty and felt soft and comfortable when I put it on. However, the sizing is not the same as my previous Naot (Pamela.) I wear an 8 and 39 in the Pamela was perfect. In the Paris, the 39 was a size too long, and the straps over the toe area were huge, as if made for someone with a fat foot. Very disappointed. I'd exchange for the 38 if there wasn't so much excess room over the toes.

Nice and comfortable but didn't have the steep arch support I was looking for.

I ordered four different pairs of black sandals from Zappos, and finally settled with this pair. I can dress it up for work, or down for casual with pants. The foot bed is traditional Naot; heel height perfect for me, and easy on/off Velcro (although there is too much of a trend in this direction). Lightweight too!

I have those awkward feet where sometimes I wear a 36 and sometimes a 37. Naot also seems to have variations on its size as I first ordered the "Sophia" in a 36 and it was way too small, so I ordered the "Paris" in a 37 and my foot was swimming in it. So I reordered the "Paris" in a 36 (didn't bother with the Sophia as I really liked the Paris styling once I received it in the incorrect size), and it was a perfect fit. I am leaving for Europe in a month and wanted a stylish shoe that could handle cobblestones, and the comfort and construction of the Paris seems to fill the bill. Thank God for Zappos and its no-frills return policy. With my small awkward foot I frequently have to try on multiple pairs of shoes to get the right fit.
