My new Match shoes were slightly, but measurably small than my old pairs. 9 1/2 was too small so I swapped for a size 10. I assume that a 9 1/2 Wide would have been ok, but I did not see that option. Bottom line, the size 10 is fine. Including the summer whites, I am on my 5th pair of Match shoes. They are hands down, the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Price be damned.

Mephisto shoes are always a consistent quality.

Fit well. These are not like walking on a cloud. They are springy and comfortable but not Hoka like. HOWEVER, at the end of the day, my very flat feet do not feel sore and destroyed. They are supportive and cushiony where they need to be. Mephisto knows what they are doing. Very well made too.

Mephisto is a very high quality shoe, Mephisto states this model is the best walking shoe AND I BELIEVE THEM.

I went through a lot of shoes to find this perfect fit. Extremely comfortable and looks great with my jeans.

These shoes are very comfortable and fit according to specifications. A bit more arch support would be nice. My only real issue is the prominent nameplate on the sides of the shoes, makes me feel like a walking advertisement for Mephistopheles.

These are great. I have owned a pair of these before and wore them out. These are as good as the first ones I had.

Fantastic shoe! Don't know why I shop around for other shoes when this is the most comfortable shoe out there. I know they are pricey but its only a few dollars more to go first class

These are the supreme walking shoe from Mephisto. I have them in 3 colors. Can go with jeans to a sport coat. Not an elegant look but a good casual look. You can trek across Manhattan, Paris or Patagonia. One note - they are heavy so consider this if traveling. They would be the pair to wear rather than pack.

The Match is excellent in every way—comfortable, supportive, and surprisingly not clunky. Perfect shoe for walking in the city.

I work in a hospice pharmacy, and I'm on my feet 10-12 hours a day 6-7 days a week. These shoes are amazing. I've tried new balance, adidas, nike, Brooks, PF Flyers, and nothing compares. My knees no longer ache after every shift.

Extremely good arch support & very good sole cushion, great walking shoe, well worth the price. Much more comfortable than the made in America New Balance sneakers.

I have other pairs of Mephisto Match. That is why I keep buying them! They are great. Good footbed with arch supprt, good soles, and the upper leather tops wear very well and look good.

They are perfect. I have purchased 7 pair over many years.

Mephisto - Mephisto has the best men tennis shoes and ladies sandals. My only complaint is that some ladies' styles need to come in narrow widths.

Mephisto Match - Great shoe. Overall, very comfortable and worth the higher premium they charge. My only concern was that the size 8 is more like a European size 8 (=7.5 US). The shoe is somewhat snug but I am hopeful it will stretch with time.

Fantastic Footwear - I had a pair of Mephisto boots about 7 years ago and really enjoyed them. Since then I have tried many different shoes, mostly Merrill's. I like to walk and work outside a lot, however my feet always hurt at the end of the day. Recently I decided to try Mephisto again and purchased the Match. I will never wear anything else again. Yes they are expensive shoes but well worth the investment. They fit like old favorites the first time out of the box. I climb ladders to put lighting in trees, climb in and out of heavy equipment in them and take my wife out to lunch wearing the same pair of shoes, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day! I now have seven pairs, that says it all.

Match - A great shoe. Very, very comfortable. Some people might think its heavy, but your feet feel very supported.

Best shoe made! I absolutely love the Mephisto Match! My job requires approximately 10 miles a day of walking on a cement service. There isn't any other shoe that I would buy for this type of work. Other brands usually only last 3-6 months. The Mephisto Match has lasted as long as 18-24 months for me.

Mephisto's Match black - They've become my favorite casual walking around shoes. If you like comfortable shoes; you will love these.
