I average women’s size 9..... maybe 8.5 in sandals or 10 in boots. I initially ordered 7.5 and they were a smidge short, as well as being a tad snug in forefoot volume. So I’d say they are close to TTS, but maybe made for a slim, flatter foot with short toes? I also have high arches...... the tongue is way separated from the back and the laces are borderline length. So maybe if in doubt, go with larger size? Best part, footbed is removable and accommodates my custom orthotics! Also, the sole seems pretty cushy/thick. I have connective tissue disorder, and if I get any injury, it never heals properly. So am curious to see how this met guard goes. Also, somehow they make my feet look sizes smaller than they actually are instead of being so bulky that I appear to have duck feet. That was surprising for a boot with so many areas of protection, but I guess maybe it’s that snowbooot-type shape? Anyway, this is more about fit than hold-up/long wear info, but I was surprised. And the back doesn’t dig into my leg. I prefer zippers over laces, esp with my high arches. The met guard is like a flap that lays over regular laces. I didn’t quite get how that worked from the photos. Interesting design, with several points for flexibility/ROM. It’s early, but pleased so far.

Terrific shoes! Love the extra protection! I gave them a .4 out of 5 because I had to put different insoles in them because there wasn't enough cushion in the ball of my foot. It's a lot of shoe with a very reasonable price tag!

Great product! They fit true to size as far as length and width. They are not very heavy at all as I have worn steel toe boots for a good amount of years now. The only thing that may be a con for me is the met guard is a little stiff especially when I need to bend down on a knee or two (something that I am not accustomed to). I have to extend my whole foot backwards in order to keep the guard from brushing into my leg causing pain. Other than that I love the guard! It serves it's purpose well! These boots are abrasion proof! They have great ankle support as to where with tennis shoes I would roll my ankles all the time. They keep your ankles in place! They do slip in wet/icy conditions as to where I have to unload refrigerated trucks (frozen/dairy) but as far as the dryer areas of the truck they hold well against the already cold steel floors!! I have no more complaints about the boots in general! I love them! Great product!!

The Timberland PRO Steel Toe Metatarsal Guard Work Boot is the preferred choice of our Production crew. They are comfortable and protect the feet completely. We tried other models and stayed with this one.

Boot fits well, a little heavy but comfortable. At first I felt like I was wearing a ski boot, but they loosened up.

One of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. The only problem with them is I got a blow out in the side within three months.

Just recently got this pair of shoes. They are heavy boots but will keep your feet well protected. Style is okay if you are a fan of Iron Man otherwise some people think that it is a weird shoes. Hot spots near top shoe lace eyelets and at small toes becomes unbearable after an 8 hr. shift. Worn it just once and is still at break in period.

The front seams on the metguard flap busted from the bottom of the laces within three months of purchase. Now that they are not fully connected they are not safety compliant at my workplace.

I was so excited to get these. I was really disappointed in how bulky, clunky, and cumbersome they are. Great for a job where you need foot protection...but never crouch. If you dropped something on the floor and went to pick it up, you'd probably roll up on your tippy toes cause this boot flexes at the ankle for no man!

I purchased these boots about 30 days ago and the souls are falling off they have yet to decide if that's a manufacturer's defect or if they intentionally made them that way

These shoes are horrible! They are extremely heavy and hurt the bottoms of my feet. I would not recommend these to anyone!
