I have wide feet and was really excited about these Dansko wides! Unfortunately, they still rubbed on my wider foot -- so if you have very wide feet (like 2W), I do not think they will work for you.

These shoes ae pretty comfortable and really cute. My only very slight issue is that they can get hot but overall I love them.

I walked into the Walking Company at the mall and asked what was the best shoe for someone who had to stand up to 12 hours at a time. (I do guard work.) They recommended this shoe. Thank goodness I tried it on to determine my size, because the equivalents given online are off. I wear a woman's 9.5 and needed a 41 described as 10.5-11. Pros, I can indeed stand 12 hours with minimal discomfort to my feet and back, due largely to the excellent arch support and wiggle room in the toe box. Also, no blisters even on the first wearing due to the loose back. Cons are that they're heavy, so if you constantly walk, they might tire you out, and if you have a high arch, as I do, they feel a little tight across the top at first. They're also not particularly stylish, but compared to other comfort/work shoes, they aren't bad.

This shoe is very comfortable and supportive. I don't have to wear my orthotics! One drawback is the shoe rubs the skin off some of my toes. Otherwise, I can wear the shoes all day on my 12 plus hour shifts.

I love the comfort of Dansko shoes, except this shoe's covering was peeling, so I get to return the shoe.

Overall I am very happy with this shoe, though it is the first shoe that I have had to break in. I stand much of the day for work, and I find that there is a pressure point on the outside of the foot where the small toe meets the foot itself. The pressure seems to be caused by where the two pieces of leather meet on the inside of the shoe. I have a very narrow foot. I bought a gel heel liner from my local department store, cut a piece off and placed inside the shoe to help relieve the pressure. It did help. I find that this shoe helps keep me comfortable through out the day. Previously I have worn Birkenstock, Naots, and Finn Comfort. They all have good support, but this pair is cushier than those brands making my standing more comfortable. Research after the fact has shown me that the company who makes Sanita shoes has recently stopped being the maker of Dansko. Another company now makes Dansko supposedly to the same specifications as before. I am thinking of getting a second pair in another color, and I might try the Sanita to compare for myself. I gave the style only 3 stars. These are clogs. I would actually prefer something more stylish, but I am choosing comfort over style, and it is worth it!

I work in the food industry and these have been great. Overall, I'd say this shoe is great and true to size, only they are tight across the top of my foot - high arch? I don't know. In any case, perhaps if you have a high arching top of your foot, these need to be stretched or somehow otherwise fitted.

The shoes look and feel great. But, from the time I took them out of the box, there was an annoying squeak with every step. It happened on carpet, any surface and never faded. I have heard that complaint from about 5 other nurses . I am taking this as a defect in the tread somehow. I returned them without difficulty and my new pair does not squeak.

I always thought these were ugly shoes, but was recommended them for plantar fasciitis. Turns out there are some stylish Danskos. I got the black tooled leather and they look professional, plus good with jeans. And they really do help my feet.

I love these shoes they fit wonderful very comfortable, but the toes are worn off, looks funny. If anyone knows how to fix them or make the toe a little darker so it doesn't stick out quite so much. Great shoes.

Love these shoes! I had been holding out on buying Danskos despite many recommendations. Now I am sorry I didn't order them sooner. They are very comfortable, although the first couple times I did have some tightness across the top until I wore them a couple of times. I spend a good portion of time on my feet every day and I can wear these all day with no trouble.

Danskos are comfy, especially if you're on your feet all day and the shoes are broken in. But, I will say, when they're brand-spankin-new, they are stiff and can cause the tops of your feet to ache. This is my third pair and I've always had to order a full size up.

This shoe is supposed to fit like a clog so your heel will come up with each step. I ended up returning my first pair and ordering the next size up I wear an size 11 female I ordered the 9.5-19 male/12 female. I do however wish they were a little lower to the ground because I am already tall but aside from that I really like them.

I wear a Birkenstock size 37 narrow and my foot runs medium to narrow. This shoe (Sanita 38 narrow) was too big somewhat dancing around my foot as I walk as opposed to the Sanita 37 N which still has movement around my foot.

I finally get why people rave about Danskos. I had a pair years ago (old style) that I later realized was a size too small. They were okay but the footbed felt hard and they were never super comfortable. Now that I have the correct size (38 for 7.5) and the new style, these shoes are amazing! The footbed is softer and springier, I feel almost like I'm wearing sneakers yet I still have a heel and a professional look. My lower back is happy too. I tried some Sanitas and they were way too narrow, these felt true to size. My only slight complaint is that my little toes rub a little when I wear them for a long time but I am still breaking them in. Overall, great shoe!

My shoe sizes range from 8-9 depending on the shoe. Typically 8.5 for flats/heels and 9 for sneakers. I also would not say that my feet are narrow, but they are not wide either. I ordered the 40 because everyone said they run a half size smaller. They look gigantic. I have lots of space in the heel and in the toe but across the top is sung. I'm returning them for the next size down to see what that's like. It seems that these shoes are all very particular and takes some time to find just the right pair. However, while I was standing in them, I could tell they would be really comfortable to stand in all day. I can't wait to find the right pair!

These are great shoes. I ordered the Hickory Cabrio and I love the color. I'm on my feet a lot during the day and these shoes provide excellent arch support. After reading the reviews that these shoes run small, I ordered a half-size up and they are a perfect fit. I did encounter a problem with my first pair- after wiping them with a cloth, the color rubbed off. I called Zappos and received amazing customer service. I love Zappos!

Right foot was great. Could have worn and walked forever. Bunion on left foot-was crippled after 4 hours. Tried 3 separate days. Reviews indicated this would not be a problem. Probably should have bought the softer leather. Really wanted these shoes as am on my feet in a restaurant all weekend! Usually wear Naot and people rave about Dansko.

I felt the shoes were true to size. I wear a 7.5 and a 38 fit the length of my foot just fine. I do have a high instep and have to wear thinner socks. If I wear a thicker sock, the top of my foot gets sore. I hope over time the shoes will stretch a bit so sock thickness won't matter. If I order another pair, I may try a 39.

Love the antique oiled brown color, goes with everything. First tried them on and thought fit was a little tight but figured it would stretch. Wearing them to work the next day was painful, as if it was cutting into the top of my foot, and was regretting keeping them. But I gave them a chance and and now that they're broken in, they feel good. Sitting too long can make them uncomfortable (probably just my feet), but I could walk all day in them with no problem. Great if you're on your feet all day.

Bought this pair to replace an old pair. I understand Dansko has changed manufacturers and it is obvious. This shoe isn't as comfortable or durable as the old Dansko's. My old pair was a pair of men's but Dansko no longer makes gender specific. The quality of the shoes is definitely lower.

Great shoe, but have to send back the ones I ordered. Got a size 39 which would normally be my size but for some reason they were to small.

Shoe is a little tight on the top, I have high arches so they rub on the top a bit. It takes a few minutes for them to mold to my foot but once they do, I can go all day in them.
