Danskos for work - I work in a nursing home setting and absolutely love my new shoes. They look nice and are just like wearing slippers all day long. Would like to have some in every color. They do run about a size smaller than you normally would wear.

Great shoe - Great shoe - fits true to size - high arch - I do have a high instep and felt some pressure across the top of my foot - but used a shoe stretcher to accommodate that - this is my second pair of professional clogs and would recommend highly.

Very supportive shoe - I bought these shoes for work because as a nurse I am on my feet most of the working day and I have heel spurs which not only make walking painful but very difficult. The moment I put these on I could feel the difference! There was total support; I actually can make it thru the day without limping! The only reason I gave a 4 on comfort is because due to an injury to my left leg I get swelling in my foot and the top of the shoe cuts into the top of my foot but that’s more my foot 's problem and not the shoes fault. I also gave a 4 on look because the shoe has a higher heel than it looks like in picture, I am 5'3 but in these shoes I am about 5'5 which is kinda nice since I am not looking up at people as much but this might be an issue for a taller person. Overall I am very happy with these shoes and plan on buying this brand for everyday wear as I still limp in my other shoes.

Excellent work shoe - I needed a completely white shoe that had a bit of a platform to complete a uniform. This shoe is very comfortable and looks like it will wear well.

I've had Dansko shoes before and knew I was receiving a good product. My last pair lasted me about 5 years and frankly are still good. They just look beat. I have no desire to buy anything else but Danskos.

Great Shoe! The Dansko Professional shoe is very comfortable! All of the other positive reviews influenced my decision to purchase these shoes. I needed a comfortable shoe for clinicals in nursing school. These are well worth the money. I normally wear a size 7, but ordered one size up. They fit my foot just like they should fit. Love these shoes!!!

Great shoe for hardworking nurses! This is my 3rd pair of Danskos--I had to buy a white pair for a new job, and so far they're comfortable! I can't wear Crocs or Birks b/c they're too flat. I normally wear size 8, originally ordered size 38--too tight! 39 fits beautifully. The back of the shoe should NOT rub up against your heel, for your information. When polished, they look like new. I have an oiled burgundy pair and still love them. They’ll last you for a long time. Enjoy!

I have been searching for a really stiff shoe for work and this is it. I am a nurse so am on my feet a lot at work, and I have a stress fracture in my right foot, so must have a shoe with really good support. I plan to get these in other colors to wear with jeans. Love this shoe!

GREAT! Very comfortable - I was worried it wouldn't be wide enough, but it is just perfect! Wish I didn't have to wear it in white, but need the color for nursing school! I'll definitely be buying another pair - in a different color!

Woot woot I found my new shoes!! LOVE the Dansko shoes!! The only problem (which is not the shoe but me) is the top band gets tight when I am working during my 12 hours. My feet swell. Otherwise LOVE them!! They are true to size and width! I have to wear stockings instead of socks because I have wide feet but it's fine!!

Excellent for healthcare workers on their feet - This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair I bought were black, and now the white. I LOVE them! I am a nurse and work 13-14 hour days. Although my feet are still "tired" and ache at the end of many days, it is MUCH, MUCH less than with any other shoe I've tried. This shoe gives EXCELLENT arch support and I highly recommend them for anyone on their feet all day. I also think the shoes look great, and love that all I have to do to clean them is take a clorox wipe to them. Also, I appreciate that there are no openings in them (i.e. crocks) because this protects my feet from body fluids that may "splash" onto my shoes during the course of my work. I take comfort in the fact that there are no openings for anything to get through to my socks or feet!

A Must for a Nurse - Fantastic for those 12 hr shifts. I wear women’s size 8 and the 39 is a perfect fit. They fit perfect right away. I have a high arch foot and these are great. I have other colors for at home too. The Black patent leather is great for dressing up and staying comfortable.

I was hesitant about purchasing these shoes online. I bought my first pair of Dansko Professional clogs in person and tried on three pairs in the same size and got three different fits. I work 12 hour shifts and never think about my feet or legs getting tired during the day in these clogs. This pair fit like a glove. The leather is stiff and heavy. When they get scuffed I can clean them up to look like new. I would recommend that one doesn't expect to "break them in". Keep trying until you get a pair that starts off comfortable.

These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. Especially for work. I love how easy it is to slip on and off.

Is there anything else? I cannot imagine standing on my feet all day in anything but a Dansko! Fantastic. Thank goodness they make this (awful) all white—it’s what I need! Thanks!

Great arch support - These shoes are very comfortable. It took a week to break them in. Now the shoes are very comfortable. I'm a radiology tech and I am on my feet for 10 hours or more.

Ugly... but fabulous - I have to wear an all white leather shoe for nursing school. While it's not that cute, it is extremely comfortable when you have to stand up all day long. I have highly recommended it to my classmates. It is the best shoe I have found to meet school requirements and comfort.

Saved my back! I am a new grad RN and I never really thought I would need "nursing" shoes. I have always worn sneakers or Crocs and have been very comfortable. That is until I started working my 12 hour shifts and I had pain from my feet all the way up my legs to the middle of my back. I bought these shoes and received them a few days later and what a difference. I have no back pain at all from standing on my feet so long. I highly recommend them!

Dansko testimonial - My first pair of Danskos - GREAT SHOE - definitely a professional look. Extremely comfortable. I found it wears like a clog in that my heel moves up and out even though it has a closed back which is a little loose, but it does not affect the comfort. ZAPPOS - definitely the best all-around deal. I always comparison shop here first and always end up purchasing here! THANKS!

This is the most expensive pair of nursing shoes I have ever owned. I usually use white athletic shoes. Let me just say that I will never go back to athletic shoes again. My feet and back do not hurt anymore. I work 12 hour shifts and my feet feel great. I was a little leery at how they would fit because I have wide feet. I usually wear a 6.5 so I sized up and went with a 37. I think because of my wide feet the leather needed a short break in period. I wore them around the house for a half day before I worked. When I wore them for my 2 12's they were perfect and what a difference they have made for all my aches and pains. I am in love with my Danskos; I have since purchased a pair of boots and clogs for use at home.

Make sure you order the right size! I am convinced some people who have tried these on in the states are putting on the wrong size. The sales person might tell them their size in European shoe sizes, and then they find out the shoe is very uncomfortable. Well it isn't technically the shoe...it is the fact that you aren't wearing the proper size and the shoe isn't fitted to your foot properly. I was lucky to find clogs while living in Germany for 4 years. I was in charge of a huge American/German bazaar for feeding the German vendors each day. I would be on my feet 12 hours a day at this bazaar, and the first day on concrete floors, people were coming asking me if my feet hurt, and complaining about their feet hurting tremendously. They saw I had on one of the vendors clogs (Dansko) and asked me if my feet hurt. My feet did not hurt ONCE. And I was oblivious to the pain they were in. I can promise you that the next day of the bazaar; all these women went and bought a pair of clogs. And he makes sure they fit you properly. They should be about one finger length past your heel. No less if you are barefoot. This means you need to order one size larger than your American size. The shoe should slide up and down the back of your heel w/each step. It sounds awkward but think about how awkward a flip flop is and everyone wears those w/out complaint. They last for YEARS...I should know, I wore my black ones for 2 years straight through the spring, winter, and fall of Germany for 2 years straight plus the spring and fall and winter here in North Carolina. I will be wearing the same black pair again when fall hits. Yes they truly do last that long. Now I am a nursing student and am buying myself a white pair.

Amazingly comfortable shoe! I just bought the Danskos Professional in white for nursing school and wow they are soo comfortable. When I slip my feet in these shoes they feel as if they mold to m foot. I love walking in these shoes, even around the house. I plan to keep them throughout my nursing career. The only thing I would change about this shoe is the height of the heel, but it doesn't bother the comfort at all.

I Love these shoes!!! When I started nursing school, I might have bought and returned 7-8 pairs of shoes within the first 2 months of the semester. My feet are wider than most women’s and I just could not find the right shoes that were comfortable enough for long clinical hours. This was a major problem until tried on a pair of these Dansko professionals. Like many say, it takes a while to break them in and get used to them but after you have, they are the most comfortable pair of work shoes you would ever own.

An excellent shoe - It is a great shoe for my line of work because I am on my feet for 12 to 16 hours a day.My feet swell and these shoes are fantastic for that respect also.I love Danskos so much that I wear them off duty too.

Great work shoe - This shoe is so great. I work in a lab on my feet for the most part of my shift and they give me the support I need. No more back aches or knee pain. It’s wonderful.
