They saved my life! I have plantar fasciitis and even my New Balance and Crocs weren’t helping me anymore. I followed the advice of others on here and ordered a half size bigger. I also ordered a wide. I have NO foot pain anymore. I work on my feet all day long and would be in terrible pain during work and after. I couldn’t walk a step without pain. While my plantar fasciitis is not healed, the pain is decreased 95%. These shoes are so comfortable, not gorgeous but not ugly, and go with jeans and dress pants. They are a little heavy which takes getting used to, as well as about a week break in period. The arch support is fantastic! I totally recommend these shoes!

Love these shoes. Had to get them in white because I needed an all white shoe for my nursing school clinical uniform. Danskos are great support for long days on your feet. I usually wear about an 8.5 with a somewhat wide foot (but not fat). The 39 fit like a dream. Highly recommend to anyone that stands or walks around for many hours at a time.

Love,love,love the shoes. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. The shoes don't look at all comfy but I tried them and they are awesome. So many people couldn't be wrong! I am an RN so I'm on my feet a lot and if they weren't comfy they were going straight back. I even brought an extra pair of shoes with me to work in case I couldn't make it through the day with them, but I didn't think about them one time during the day. They're great.

Three and a half days before a trip I heard about Zappos. I really needed a pair of the Dansko Professional in black, so I placed my order about 11:00a.m. They arrived as promised before my trip! I love them! Currently I have a pair in brown & black & manage to alternate them throughout the week. The shoe is extremely comfortable on my difficult to fit feet. I have wide feet, high arches & a large bump over the great toe joint, from a fracture 10 years ago. On the trip I only took the black Dansko & it worked out fine. Easy to take off at the airport & comfortable on the plane. They look good with jeans & plain moderately casual pants.

Great shoe. I have extra wide size 6.5 feet with a very high arch/instep. I have always liked the way Dansko clogs looked but never thought they would fit my difficult feet. Instead I received a wonderful surprise! The arch support is adequate (so would be great for a normal arch) and the wide width is more than adequate for my foot. And, they look as good on my feet as I always thought they would. The only minor negative is that in adjusting to the clog I have had some lower back soreness. But, I assume that is an indication of not standing/walking properly in other shoes. Overall, I'm very happy.

Absolutely perfect. Bought this for a friend, nursing student, and she was thrilled. Everyone loved them and she was really impressed with the quality, style and fit.

I love Danskos almost as much as I love Zappos. I have been a Zappos customer for about 4 years and have consistently been a satisfied customer. Now, about the Danskos, these are great shoes. I work on my feet for 12 to 14 hours at a time. These shoes have the support I need, they are comfortable and they last forever. My first pair of Danskos I bought over 10 years ago and I still wear them. They are like an old friend. Comfortable, worn in and always there for me. Thank you again.

These shoes are wonderful! I've been wearing them for a few months now and they still feel great. I work as an ER nurse and my shifts vary from 8-13 hours and my chances to sit on a given day vary, too! I had been wearing Nurse Mates and pretty much had lower back pain, ankle and heel pain about a month after I got them. Not so with the Danskos! As other readers have suggested, wear them at home first for a few days; they do take a little getting used to, especially if you haven't been wearing very supportive shoes. I wear a size 9 US and ordered a 39 (what I typically wear in European size) and they fit perfectly. No complaints!

They are comfortable shoes. They can be a bit noisy if not careful how you walk. I am usually a 9 1/2 WW. The shoe seems to make me walk better.

I am so pleased that Dansko now has wide widths available. I hope they do the same with other styles! These shoes are perfect, true to size and width, and have held up very well so far! I got them in both the brown and black.

I ordered these shoes in a 9 wide. I really like the look, but they were not wide enough for me so I am returning them.

I have ordered 2 pairs of the "Professional". I love all Danskos & can not wear anything else anymore, because I have plantar fasciitis (standing at the same job for 30 years). I have always had wide feet, also, but the pair of "Wide Professionals" is actually a little too loose and I prefer the other pair, just my size, not the wide width. I wish Dansko made a cute boot and a cute sandal; I really do have to wear my "clogs" everywhere! Thanks.

Very comfortable shoes. I have a narrow foot and these shoes fit perfectly. They certainly give a lot of support for a nurse on her feet for 12+ hours especially compared to most tennis shoes.

I purchased these shoes to wear for working in our restaurant, where I'm on my feet all day long. I had been wearing my Saucony tennies, but wanted something that looked more professional. I was also interested in the orthopedic value of the shoes, since I've had back surgery and need good high-arch support. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. I notice they do make me stand straighter as well. They look good and feel good. What more could I ask for?

These are wonderful shoes. They are not only wide enough, but offer wonderful support. I wore these shoes to school for eight hours on concrete floors and there was no breaking in required. I did not realize that there was a wide Dansko available, but I am now sold. They are also stylish and give you some height without having to deal with heels. I have gotten many compliments and could not be more pleased.

I was very pleased with the help and follow up they did when I bought these shoes new to my feet. They allowed me to exchange for a half size bigger since they run smaller and also allowed me to keep both pairs to be sure that I was happy with the one I kept. Very accomodating!

I normally wear a woman's size 11. I ordered this shoe in a size 42 and it fits perfectly. I'd have to say they run a little small. I love the shoes and plan to get some in a different color soon!

I love my Danskos; they make my feet happy and therefore I wear them all the time. They're durable and will last forever. Also, the top of the shoe (part covering the toes) is waterproof and won't let liquids get through, which is good for working in a hospital or kitchen. They also keep my feet dry when it rains. They're just not that pretty. The stuff you should know about: They are supposed to be a bit big on your feet, which can take some getting used to. I love walking in them now, but did not at first. Because of this, you must pay attention when walking in these. I've stepped on a fairly small crack in the pavement and twisted my ankle by rolling sideways on the 1'' heel, but then again I'm a guy and don't have practice walking in heels, maybe that's my problem.

I regularly wear a 7 1/2 and I got a size 39 euro. They seem a bit too big but I just wear two pairs of socks with them. I definitely wouldn\\\'t have bought them smaller. The top of the shoe did rub on my foot for about a week but now it seems they are broken in. I wouldn\\\'t say that they are wonder shoes, but I am definitely not crippled anymore when I get home. My feet may not like them as much because of the heel. There is a slight incline which feels nice for the arch support but my feet have never liked any sort of heel. You will be 2-3 inches taller in these shoes! Overall good value for the price

Everyone at work wears Danskos so I tried on a co-worker's and decided to order a pair for myself. Everyone is right; these are wonderful shoes to keep your feet and body aligned to help prevent foot and back pain. They are not slipper-comfortable for your feet if that's what you're looking for. Danskos are unique in the way they support, like nothing I've ever worn, but they make your feet feel great as long as you are wearing them. It was suggested to buy the larger of the European size so I did, and even though the shoe doesn't 'hug' my foot, it is correct.

I am very pleased with Zappos.com, I ordered and two days later I had my shoes. I am happy with the shoes and have told everyone that has asked and some other just how wonderful it is to order from this company.

I put these on right out of the box and said YES! They fit perfectly and were so comfortable immediately. No breaking in time needed. Love 'em! Can wear them all day. Get lots of compliments from my clog loving friends. Worth the money. Can't wait to get another pair!

I thought this shoe was exactly what I ordered. Although I think they personally are not that stylish, I'm not sure I ever thought they were. I bought them purely for comfort. And they fit that really well.

These shoes are GREAT! They are comfortable and require no breaking in. My sore, tired feet are very happy with them. Be sure to order the European size for your feet.
