I think this shoe runs true to size but since I have one foot a little wider, I always have my store stretch that one for me till it's comfy. I have worn either black tooled or brown tooled for years. My store discontinued the brown because the finish wore off & since they replaced mine twice, I was a happy camper. I even wear this black tooled for my dress up shoe since I'm unable to wear heels. I just wear socks that look like tights & go for it! If you think yours doesn't have enough arch support you can have your store insert a foam 'taco' to see if that does the trick. These shoes already have a great arch though.

Very cute shoes. The leather is really stiff and hard to break in. The soles are hard, not spongy so not the best for people with knee issues.

Love these shoes! As a nurse I worked in these 8-14 hours and then started buying them for everyday wear because they are so comfortable. I would love to see a squared off toe too.

I used to work in a high-end shoe store, and I've seen a lot of shoes. Danskos are the best shoe you can buy if you are on your feet a lot, in my opinion. Although they seem price-y, they will last forever. I worked in that store almost 9 years ago and I am still wearing at least one pair that I bought back then. If you are buying your first pair, you should definitely go to a shoe store and be fitted (sorry, Zappos...but you can always buy your next 10 pairs from Zappos!) As an employee, I actually had to be trained in fitting them - not rocket science or anything, but there is a specific way that a Dansko needs to fit, and it's not like your usual close-fitting pair of shoes. If you buy them to fit like a normal pair, you will be very uncomfortable in them. Your heel should easily slip up and down in the show, and there should be a gap between the back of the shoe and the back of your heel. Your toe should touch the end of the shoe as you walk - not bump or jam, but touch it. You usually have to try a couple different sizes to get it just right. They don't work well for narrow feet. But I have a very high arch and when fitted properly, they're a dream.

I have a narrowish foot, and Dansko Pro narrows are great for me. Very comfortable. Both dress pants and jeans break at the front of the shoe, so can look either dressy or casual.

I have pretty flat feet, and usually use an insert in my shoes if I am going to be walking around a bit. With these, I never need an insert, and I'm not limping at the end of the day. They're easy to slip on and off, can tolerate a little rain, and are polished enough that I can wear them in an office (with button down shirts and suit pants, though prob not for formal events) or under jeans. I have an older pair that I now use as backyard work shoes. Will definitely keep buying them!

Zappos is a really great company to do business with. They ship quickly and returns are painless. These shoes are very pretty, can be dressy or casual. I like them because I have a heel spur and have to have good support and they really provide it. I actually have 5 pair of Dansko shoes. The only problem I have is that you can't polish some of the shoes when they get scuffed.

I am a teacher and wanted to invest in a shoe that was comfortable and stylish. I found them. Not only do these look great with pants with a wider opening at the bottom, but they are very comfortable. I also got two complements the first day I wore them. I am very happy with my purchase.

I put off buying these for a while due to the price. I wish I hadn't. They are my go-to work shoes. They are supportive and I like that they give a little height.

For clog lovers, order your true size then call c/s if you have questions on the fit. As I did, they are endlessly patient. The proper fit: allow the heel to move up and down while walking. I ordered my size 11. I took that to be size 42. After reading many reviews. Once I tried my 42 size clogs on, they felt huge and way too loose! I was so sure the fit was way too large. (Hey, what did I know? Apparently I am not a clog expert!). I am a size 11. I called the "clog experts" c/s at Zappos and was advised to try 1 size smaller and they even sent me the smaller clogs before I returned the larger one! So, once the 1 size lower a size 41 was on my foot, found the (original size 42) my actual size 11 had fit better after all! No secret that the brown tooled & the blue raindrops styles are too, too cute. Get 'em & be thrilled with the combo of jeans and clogs. Oh, come on folks, give Zappos a break! It's not Zappos fault that 1 of your 2 feet is longer than the other, that you have hammertoes and bunions. Shoe choices are up to you and your condition of your feet. There is not much arch support so wear Dr. Scholls insets to complete the fit. Oh yeah, of course, clogs are firm and wear them for some time. They seem to be made to last! Dansko is well loved in the shoe world. Your and my personal opinions are as varied as our feet are. So, buy them and be patient and lovely styles. I love the way these look. Many people have commented on them. I ordered size 36 "Wide" because I wear 5 1/2 Wide-Wide in shoes. At first they rubbed my toes a lot - could only wear them for a short time. Gradually got more comfortable. After 3 1/2 weeks, I still have red marks across my insteps but my toes almost never hurt any more. I'm not giving up because I really want these shoes to work.

I am in love. These are my first pair of Dansko's and I couldn't be happier. I am usually a size 8 and the 39's fit perfectly. I love the black patent leather for dress pants or jeans. Very comfortable.

I just got them home. I was so excited but not for a long. I put them on, took a few steps and what happened?! My foot was not staying in the shoe at all. I felt like wearing flip flops. I got very disappointed because couldn't wait for their arrival. Now need to search for different.

I buy these Danskos for my husband every year. He is a chef and spends a lot of time on his feet. He loves these shoes! He was reluctant at first, but after getting his first pair, he now wears them most of the time and even has a 'nice' pair for time away from work.

My husband works in a hospital and thought that he would buy these shoes for me because I love to walk and have terrible knee and feet issues(lots of pain). He brought them home for me, I work in an office and do not walk much in the office. I cannot explain how comfortable these shoes are. The style is not all that great for officde atmosphere but with a pair of jeans, they look pretty cute. But the comfort is exceptional. Most of all, no pain in knees or feet while and after wearing them.

It is best to try these clogs on in a store that sells them before buying online because you may have to try on several pairs before finding the right fit. I tried on three to four pairs sizing from 39 - 40 before finding the right fit. The heel of the shoe should be a loose fit not snug fit. It takes awhile to get used to walking in them.

Best shoes for pregnancy! If you find yourself waddling around with sore feet and/or ankles, then definitely invest in a pair of these clogs. Worth every penny for the comfort and support they provide, they're easy to slide into (no bending over with belly), seem to be pretty weather-proof, and if you're far along and find yourself wearing nothing but leggings, tunics, and comfy cardigans, these go great with your outfits. I know I will continue to wear these post-pregnancy and get tons of wear out of them. For sizing, if your feet have swollen up or have widened a bit, I recommend you going for your normal pre-pregnancy shoe size as they run a bit large.

Amazing shoe! I am a devoted Dansko fan, and this is a classic. I have the paint splatter pair, and also wanted the same Professional for everyday wear. They are light, very supportive and the rocker sole makes these a go-to pair without question.

I've been wearing Danskos for about 12 years. I love how comfortable they are. I'm on my feet all day & buy a new pair for work every year. My casual ones last much longer.

I'm a baker with wide feet and it can be hard to find shoes that fit well, but these shoes fit like a glove. They offer excellent support; my back never hurts anymore; but I do wish they had more cushion. I'm on my feet for 9 hours a day or more, so my feet always hurt, but I'd rather have sore feet than an aching back. Overall, I think these shoes are worth the money, I'll just have to find some in-soles to give me more comfort.

Unfortunately these were too small for me. I have a pair of basic black Dansko Professionals that are 7 years old and have always been a little too big in the 43 (I am a size 12) but this pair in a size 43 was too small. Very disappointed as I love Dansko's and find them the most comfortable shoe for a long day on my feet as a nurse.

These are THE shoes to wear if you're on your feet all day. They're not sexy, they're not trendy, but they won't hurt your feet. After a full 12 hours of standing on my feet, I had no pain whatsoever. Try doing that in any other shoe! I recommend ordering a size larger than you normally wear, as if they fit too tight they won't be comfortable at all. They can be slightly clunky to walk in at first, but it's easy to get used to. They are still clogs, after all! I highly recommend these shoes.

I am a chef. Love these shoes. I need to get a new pair because someone stole them from my YMCA! So upsetting!

Was hesitant at first wearing these due my very weak ankles giving. I wore the shoes every day inside for at least 3 weeks. I found I loved wearing them more and more. Now I'm hooked, I love these shoes and wear them everywhere. The narrow is just right. I will order this shoe again since there are so many colors to choose from.

Love, love, love Dansko clogs! I wanted something a little 'dressier', but just love my clogs (they are so comfortable!). Now I have the best of both!
