I spent years debating about buying these shoes. In the meantime I probably wasted tons of money on other crappy shoes. I love these. You can dress them up or down. The 8th graders at my school sarcastically comment on how much they "like" my "clogs", and if 8th graders don't like them, I know I've done something right!

I really like these Shoes. They fit perfectly and the workmanship is great! The leather product that goes into the shoes is very thick and the sole is very rugged but yet comfortable. My only recommendation for Zappos is that I am a 6 foot five man and it was a little troubling to see a woman video about the product. I would think that Zappos could find it in their budget to have a male model demo the product for men rather than a woman. Other than that I was very pleased with my Zappos experience as well as the product. I will probably buy two more pairs of these types of shoes. I have since introduced my wife to the Dansko's product line and she has ordered two pairs. My work is business casual with chinos and a button-down shirt; however, I found that the Dansko shoes with dark color socks present a professional appearance Well providing a comfortable usage throughout the day.

It has been some time since I have worn new, crisp Danskos. In the intervening years, I have resorted to sneakers, breaking at out decrepit shoes for house and yard tasks. The moment I slipped my feet into the Danskos, I was in heaven. The shoes fit as the should, providing firm support for the archless types like me, and a little lift. In the short time I have worn them, I find myself standing taller and straighter. It is such a relief to sleep these off when you're sitting and quickly put them back on without the need to relace. Obviously, these shoes aren't really designed for running. And for guys like me, who don't wear heels for a living, the fear of rolling an ankle is a present specter. I am thoroughly happy I made the decision to go back to Danskos. As to size... In the Paleolithic age, when I first got them, I got 44 regular. I made the mistake of buying 44 regular again. They barely fit my feet with nothing on them. I exchanged them for 44 wide, and they fit like a glove.
