I ordered these shoes along with a pair of Sanitas knowing I would keep one pair and send the other back. The sizing on the Sanitas was way off so the Danskos won. I am a solid size 9 and wear a 40 in Danskos. I ordered these in Narrow as the 40s in the "regular" size were just too sloppy and big. I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day/week long. The Danskos, while not exactly hip and sexy, never hurt my feet and seem to keep the ever-lurking plantar fasciitis at bay. This is my 3rd pair of Danskos. I wanted the patent leathers so I could "dress up" my scrubs a bit. I tend to be disappointed, at first, when wearing these shoes. Initially, they never feel just right..."too big. too clunky...too wobbly" but once I allow my brain to stop chattering, it's impossible to deny that they are comfortable and (once again) my feet never hurt.

I work on my feet and NEEDED new shoes, and had heard Danskos were the way to go. There is a shop in town that sells them, and I went and was professionally fitted (I took the socks with me I'd be wearing them with). I ended up wearing a 39 (8.5 - 9) when I'm usually a 7.5 - 8. In a pair of Dansko heels I tried on and bought, I'm a 37 (They're a tad bit small, but a size up would be too big). I tried on the 38s of these ("my" size), and it was tight and uncomfortable around my foot. This brand, because their sizes encompass half sizes, and because the Professional are different construction than you might be used to, you might need a different size than you think. If you can be patient and send back/exchange for the right size, DO IT! The first day wearing my shoes, I thought they weren't that much better than my old ones, but every day I wear them, my feet hurt less, to the point where they barely hurt at all now. I'm so excited I bought these shoes, and while I have one pair for work, I'm probably going to look into another pair or two and have these replace my flip flops for a go to slip on shoe. Be willing to try and figure out the right size (for some people it appears it's right on, some it's big, some it's small), and give it a week or two to get used to the shoes (the style of support isn't as "cushiony" as I'm used to, I thought I'd hate it), and you won't regret this decision.

I wear these in a bakery about 6 hours a day, sometimes more. They have great arch support and I don't have to worry about my feet hurting at the end of the day. They are not the most beautiful shoe in the world but they do their job.

I've been a nurse since 1978 and still work full-time meaning I spent 40 hours or greater on my feet every day. Wore Birkenstock for many years. After discovering Dansko and have wore them for the last 15 plus years. Most comfortable shoes I've found, in fact I have many different styles and color for all occasions. 5 stars from me. I do have a skinny foot, so I order online, since many stores don't carry narrow.

I have been wearing Danskos for over 10 years and I own several pairs. They are supposed to fit large, and your heel should slide up and down as you walk. As others have mentioned, you should be able to fit a finger between your heel and the back of the clog. The oiled leather breaks-in the best, and they fit the best. All my Cabrio leather clogs are stiff and do not break in as well, and the fit is much tighter, and I'm unable to wear socks with them. These are still my go-to shoes that I can wear with everything. But for a starter pair, go with the softer oiled leather but make sure to purchase some beeswax conditioner to keep them looking good because they will scuff easily.

I can't even count how many pairs of Dansko shoes I have owned, as I have been wearing them for a very long time. The most recent pair that I ordered was simply to replace a pair that I had worn out. Always stylish, always comfortable -- these are simply some of the best!

While I'd never describe these as stylish, they are probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Excellent arch support and for those of us on our feet for extended periods of time, they are terrific for foot and back comfort/health. Be sure to try them on to ensure that they fit as they are not the most consistently manufactured shoe/clog.

I've had Danskos before, but I'd never had a pair of the Professionals. I really liked the look of the oxblood color, and I decided to order them and try them out. These shoes are great. The color is very classy. The arch support is...well, Dansko. The fit is exactly what it should be. I took them on a two week vacation and they served me very well. One thing about Dansko that you need to keep in mind (if you've never tried them before) is that they should not "hug" your foot snugly. If they seem big, walk around in them awhile. If it is the size you should be wearing, they will hug your foot and keep it exactly where it should be without rubbing your toes or your heels. They actually help my feet by turning them in the right direction (I supinate a lot). My feet never hurt after taking them off like they do with some shoes.

I have worn these shoes for walking around the hospital all day and they are both comfortable and sturdy. My first pair last over ten years. These shoes are great for standing on your feet all day . Especially if you have foot issues. I have recommended these shoes to other hospital workers and they love them.

I bought brown, beautiful color with red shine. Beautiful overall, comfortable. Would recommend to anyone, definitely.

I was 1st introduced to this brand about 10 years ago. I haven't changed since. I'm a nurse that puts miles on my feet every day. This is the only shoe I can wear without coming home and having to soak my feet for relief. Thank you Dansko!

I am a nurse and I bought these for work. They are super comfortable and I can wear them for a 12 hour shift without my feet getting sore or tired. I wear a thick sock with them which helps too. I even wear them with jeans when it's cooler outside because they are the perfect height heel for me.

Wonderful arch support, incredibly comfortable. I have a lot of knee problems from standing all day, these have definitely helped immensely.

I am really happy with these shoes. I am a 11.5 in men's and wish I had bought a size bigger.

I have been wearing these shoes for 5 years since then I will not wear other shoes. I have come to the conclusion that these shoes have corrected my feet from all the bad shoes that I use to wear. At first I was ready to throw them out the window they hurt my feet so bad but after my feet got use to these shoes I will not go to any other brand,they really do straighten out you feet. I highly recommend this brand to any one who is on your feet all day and anyone who has foot issues.

Took a couple days to break them in but now they're so comfortable, I want another for when I'm not at work. I'm an OR nurse so on my feet all day. Highly recommend these! I normally wear an 8 and got a size 39 & they're perfect.

I am on my feet all day at work. This shoe provides what my feet needs, i.e. support and comfort. This is my 4th pair, these shoes are great!

I have always liked Dansko. This style fits me well. I tried other styles but they were always larger and I end up returning them.I look forward to have the color red available for this style in my size.

Love, love, love, Dansko Professional clogs. Comfortable, long wearing, good walking, these make my feet happy and few other shoes/clogs do the same.

Great look with the marbled finish. Took a week to break in but now they're mine. I walk better and less fatigued at end of day. And they are easy to slip on just to walk the dog.

Dansko perfect, gorgeous leather color perfect for everyday wear - not much else to say! These replaced a black pair I had actually cracked through the soles of (after many many years) and I thought I'd enjoy the switch to dark brown oiled for a more rustic look.

If you have problems with your feet hurting because you stand all day then these shoes are for you. I have tried thousands of dollars worth of shoes and orthotics but now I only wear this brand. I have several pair in different colors and no more foot pain.

These are for my boyfriend's job -- He is a professional server at a restaurant. We bought his usual size but he thought they would be too big and he wanted to send them back. I asked him to try them with some socks and he loves them. He comes home from work happier, less tired, and less achy than before. He keeps telling me how much he loves these shoes.

These where my first Dansko's and I was sold. I live in them. Only wish they looked good with shorts. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I wear an 8 but in Dansko I wear a 39.
