NARROW GIRLS - consider Sanita too before you purchase. I bought a pair of Dansko narrows (size 39 - I wear a 38 usually but had to size up) last year and loved them, even though they weren't a great fit. I tried several pairs (thank you zappos!) and kept the narrowest of the bunch, but even the narrowest would still kick off my foot pretty easily. I just tried a pair of Sanitas and their narrow is MUCH narrower than Danskos. The fit is so much better for a narrow foot, while still maintaining all the benefits (good arch support, rocker heels, stop pronation, great support). I will be giving my Danskos to someone with a wider foot and buying Sanitas from now on.

As a nurse, shoes are one of the most important parts of my uniform - I'm all about comfort and support for my 12 hour shift! These shoes do not disappoint! I love them. I continue to get compliments and I constantly sing the praise of Dansko! Great shoe! Be sure to follow the sizing recommendations for a perfect fit - this shoe isn't designed to be snug on the heel.

I just got these today and I can already tell that I'm going to love them. They're super comfortable and being a teacher, I'm on my feet all day. I'm very excited to wear them to school this week!

I absolutely love Dansko shoes! This is my third pair and so far these patent leathers are my favorite. The fit is perfect, the comfort outstanding, and the look is fabulous... I receive so many compliments when I wear these shoes!

I purchased once before and wore them for years (I worked in an ER then). I now work in a very busy OR and purchased a cool red pair, but they had an irritating squeak that drove me nuts!!! I called the great folks at Zappos and they sent me a second pair...no charge for the shoes or shipping and handling and had them the next day...those too squeaked. Back they went but not before I spoke to the very accommodating, customer-oriented people at Zappos who hooked me up with yet another pair of Danskos, again next day shipping and no charge at all!! They returned the first pair that I had, then the replacement pair, and yet the present black Danskos that I am enjoying blissfully squeak free... the shoes fit true to size, feel great and I'm hoping will walk me right in to retirement... Zappos is the very best company I have ever dealt with and I will forever sing their praises!!!

Beautiful shoe but the 41N is too long and wide. The 40 was doable width-wise with a thick sock, but too short. Frustrating because so many coworkers love their Danksos!

I work in healthcare and these shoes are absolutely everything people profess them to be! I have narrow feet with an extremely high arch, and I ordered these in a 36 narrow (I wear a size 6) and they are true to size. The arch support is phenomenal--I can stand for hours with less discomfort than any other shoes I have tried! However, the arch support works well on me because I really need it, but if you don't have very high arches it may be a bit intense. Something to keep in mind. In most shoe brands I buy medium width, and this narrow fits me so perfectly it makes me wonder if the medium width is really closer to a wide. I purchased these in both brown and black oiled leather. Hooray for happy feet!

I read lots of different reviews on Danskos before deciding to purchase them. I ordered the black Cabrio Professional style ones for work and was pleasantly surprised to find there was little to no break-in time needed. I had been warned that if I had high arches, the top "strap" area would rub across the top of the foot, but I haven't had any issues. They are extremely comfortable, even after 8 hours on my feet. Easy to put on, classic style, and nice heel. Very satisfied with this purchase...thinking about ordering a pair in brown!

I've had my black patents for 2.5 years now and they are STILL in great shape, though the heel is finally starting to wear down a bit. I'm a teacher and am on my feet ALL day. My Danskos are all I wear to school because my feet are happy ALL day in them! The patent leather does scuff, but just use a dampened microfiber sponge and it takes all the scuffs right off- promise! My high school students LOVE my shoes and give me daily compliments. Heck... for them to tell me that my shoes are cool is a pretty darn good endorsement, too! I have 3 pairs... guess it is time to get a 4th style, knowing that my students are paying attention!

Love these shoes! So comfortable from day 1 and by day 3 it completely molded to me. These are the only shoes for cement floors, 8+ hours/day. No heel or foot pain anymore. Thanks!

Excellent shoe for people with any kind of arch, leg or foot problems. They are uber-comfortable and worth every cent you pay for them. I have them in three colors as well as clogs in two colors. Wish they had more selection as far as patterns. They are wonderful. Wouldn't ever give them up!

This is the 4th different pair of Dansko's I've bought and love them just as much as the others. I'm on my feet a lot and can wear these all day. Wish they were less expensive so I could own more!

Dansko Professional clogs are the perfect shoes for busy moms and anyone who's on her feet all day. I am a mom of seven young kids and found these shoes during my fourth pregnancy. I have been wearing them ever since! The arch support is superb, unlike any other shoe I have owned. It hits my arch at the right place. I also have heel spurs, and these are the only shoes I can wear that do not hurt my heels. My normal shoe size is an 8, and I prefer narrow if I can find it. In these shoes, I wear a 39 narrow. The normal width is far to wide and makes me stumble onto my ankles. The narrows work great! And Zappos' return policy and customer support are unmatched. If you choose the wrong size and need to trade them in, they make the return process very easy. Give these shoes a try. You will not regret it!

Love, love, love this shoe. After years of foot pain I can wear these all day long and my feet never hurt. Even work all day and take a dog for the walk in the evening without changing my shoes. Better than sneakers!

These Dansko shoes are very comfortable. They may look funny, but I don't mind sacrificing style for comfort. I'm often on my feet all day and these shoes make standing for long periods of time so much more bearable.

I got my shoes on time and they fit me just right length and width wise. They hurt the top of my feet after I wear it a while but I have heard that they get more and more comfortable with time. I was happy with the service!

As so many other reviewers have agreed, this is a remarkable shoe. I wear with pants and skirts. I love these shoes. I sense they will hold up a long time.

I had been wearing Dansko shoes for 4 years now. I love the fit and the comfort when I have to be on my feet anywhere from 8 to 16 hours a day. Purchased another pair of the same size from Zappos but not sure if I got an irregular or an overstock because the new pair seem tight on my feet. I returned because the same color and size is now out of stock.

These are great shoes, but they do tend to run small for their size -- so don't be shy about sizing up a notch.

Great shoes, they look good and are supportive! I was worried that they would scuff easily but have not found that to be the case. Highly recommended!

I bought a pair for me and loved them so much, bought a pair for my daughter. Comfort is amazing and patent leather is perfect!

Love the shoe, but it runs a little big. I am normall a 7.5; I have learned that translates to a 37 in Dansko. I will reorder in another size. Zappos is so great. Perfection in customer service.

I wear a 10 or 10.5 depending on the shoe so I initially bought both the 40 and 41 because it appeared I was between their sizes. Turned out the 40 was the better fit for me.

These are the best shoes I have ever had. I initially purchased them for a cooking class I am taking, but they are so good for me that I'm wearing them everywhere. They stay on your foot, give excellent arch support, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. The box leather fits perfectly; I tried the cabrio leather in the same size and my feet fell out - felt much bigger than it should.
