I have a few pairs of Danskos that I've had since 2007, including one with the exact same sole type as this one. I ordered my usual size 39. But when I received them I noticed they were a bit short in the heel. I thought it was my imagination at first, until I put the shoe heel-to-heel with my old size 39 clogs and saw that it was not, in fact, my imagination. The new pair of size 39 is about 1/4" shorter than my old pair of size 39, which is just enough to make me need a size 40. Hmm. I'm a bit disappointed in the size control as I expected better from Dansko. Aside from the sizing issue, they seem like the same excellent quality as my old ones, and the red ones are gorgeous. So I'll exchange for the size 40. All this to say - heed the previous warnings to size up! Even if you have an old pair and think you know your size.

I found the shoe to be comfortable as Dansko's are, but this one was a little too large in the front of the shoe. I'm still a fan though!

Love they style and color, but my feet get so hot in these and doesn't take long till they get sweaty and smelly.

These were recommended to me by several nurses I work with so I decided to try them. These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I'm an RT and we are on our feet 12 hours a day and do a LOT of walking (and sometimes running). By the end of a busy day you might as well have bricks strapped to your feet. I think they would be okay for someone who isn't on their feet nearly as much and doesn't have to do a lot of walking. They have 0 cushion and they are heavy. I tried to be fair and give them a more than adequate break in period before I wrote the review but it has been 3 months and they are still horrible. On a positive note, they are cute and have a good sole that doesn't seem to slip, but I still wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Expensive pair of shoes for the trash.

As always, Zappos is the best. I don't have to leave the house to shop and try. After reading the other reviews, I ordered the next size up, and it was way too big. The arch support was not as well defined either, and since I have a high arch, I don't think this style would work for me. I have many Danskos styles that work well, so will try again.

I love the style of these, having worn the Sonja for years. These seem a little bit wider in the toe than the Sonja style. Very comfortable and I loved the color until it started to scuff off the toes. Again, having worn the Sonja Style for years, I have never had this happen before. It seems as if the color is "painted" onto the leather.

Not like the first pair of Danskos I own. Stiff and loose, they create pressure across bridge of foot (dorsal side) when walking creating almost a bruise by end of day. Best if you are gonna just stand still. Like that happens often at one's work

I heard such good things about these work clogs, but I have to say that I'm disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I hoped I wouldn't experience searing pain when I tried them on. Oh well. Save the money and buy something that doesn't need to be broken in.

I was looking for a comfortable, decent looking, everyday shoe to knock around in. While it's a sturdy shoe, they're not what I would call comfortable and are not easy to walk-in. I found that you don't have a stable footing while wearing these. They do wear well, I've had mine for a couple of years. But I wouldn't purchase again because of the comfort and stability issues.

This is hopefully a fluke, but the rivets popped the first time that I tried these on! This is a repurchase of the same shoe that I have been wearing for the last five years. These are normally perfectly made, indestructible and comfortable. I hope that this does not reflex a decline in manufacturing standards!

I was very much hoping these would be a fantastic work shoe for me, but I just couldn't settle into them. I have wide feet, and people with wide feet seem to like them. They did not seem wide to me. They cut into the sides and top of my feet and just wearing them around the house to test them out made my feet weary. I gave them the best "trial" I could (I bought 2 pairs, different sizes; returned them both). Unfortunately, I'm still on the hunt for a stylish, comfortable clog.

Shortly after these shoes arrived a fine white powder started to appear on them. It appeared more on one shoe than on the other. I wiped them off. One week later it reappeared. I have not even worn these shoes yet and have no idea what this could be. Now I am stuck with a brand new pair of shoes that fit well but that I cannot wear. And now I'm not sure if I can return them since I threw away the box because they fit well.

I have been told that Dansko is well known for comfortable shoes. This was the first pair of Dansko shoes I have ordered, and I didn't find them comfortable at all. I ordered a half size larger like reviews suggested, and it was a good thing I did. Even then, the band over my instep was too tight, and so was the strap. The toe box was too big and the entire sole of my foot slipped in the shoe when I walked. I didn't buy the enclosed Dansko shoe because they said that the heel was supposed to lift with each step. That would have given my blisters, so I thought I was doing a good thing going with the clog and using the heel strap. These shoes were just clunky at my 8-1/2 size in white. This shoe didn't have comfort or style. It was not a tough decision to send them back -- immediately.
