I am moderately happy with this shoe. I was surprised at how many reviewers said it had excellent arch support, since to my mind it has very little. Other reviewers complained about the footbed material, which tends to make the feet perspire. I didn't think this would apply to me, because my feet tend to be cold and dry, but when I actually tried the shoe, I had to agree with them. On the plus side, the shoe is sturdy and the straps are comfortable and adjustable, and the nonslip sole is very practical. As far as looks go, I find the shoe to be not as clunky as most sports/comfort sandals, and looks okay with casual denim skirts. I'm forever on the lookout for the "perfect" summer shoe, and this isn't quite it.

My third pair of Allrounder Mephisto Clipper - Without doubt the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. I can walk long-distances in cool comfort. The look is not the most streamlined in the world but the ability to adjust the straps 3-ways more than makes up for it.

Very nice - This sandal is very nice except that the footbed tends to get a little hot in very hot weather. Makes for some sweaty feet. The straps are extremely comfortable and totally adjustable. Not too much arch support. I expected more from Mephisto.

Will accommodate wide feet! Very comfortable shoe--feels like I'm practically barefoot and is very light. Good quality workmanship and nice stying. I have wide feet and this sandal was able to fit without problems. Unfortunately, my feet are also flat and need good arch support, which this shoe does not have. If you have normal or decent arches, this is your shoe. If you have flat feet or plantar fasciitis and need good support, keep shopping.

Comfy, but tight - Nice casual sandal for jeans and shorts only. I have a narrow foot but found that I had to let the straps out a bit or they were too tight. I wear a 7 in shoes and bought a 7 in the sandal. Sometimes I buy 6.5 in sandals or they are too big, but not this one. I think it runs a bit on the small side overall. Am sure glad I didn't go for the 6.5 in this one, in fact I wonder if the 7.5 would have been a better fit????

Great shoe, if it only came in half sizes - On my left foot - the shoe fits great. On my right foot outside strap hit the side of my foot and it is not as comfortable. Arch is good. Sizing is strange. I usually take an 8 1/2. In this shoe the 38 is a bit too small and the 39 a bit too large.

So so - I found some comfort initially, but instead of breaking in they became more uncomfortable. The right shoe did not fit as well as the left, and I assumed a larger size was needed, but the 6-1/2 was much too big.

Left forefoot tight - left forefoot not given enough options for loosening--velcro strap too short' its nice looking and otherwise comfortable. Thanks for asking.
