Nice shoe. Well put together. Although, it didn't have the tongue straps as described. At least not in my size. I have wide/flat feet and DC sneakers are one of the few brands of sneakers I can wear, even with an arch support insert if I take out the removable insert in the shoe. All around good sneaker. I live in wet climate and the suede on DC shoes seems to fair better in the rain, here, too.

I didn't buy these from Zappos but from a local skate shop. I used them for almost a year of (mostly) casual use and then the sole started wearing away at the balls of my feet. I'd say they're great shoes and since they lasted me so long I rate them five stars. They felt really comfortable, especially after broken in. The padding on the tongue was enough, but not excessive as with most DC shoes (i.e. the court graphics that everyone seems to have). They don't have the best grip for skating, if you're mostly skating though, you probably won't want to get shoes like this. Vans for example have much better grip on the sole and are better suited for skating (along with flexing much more). All in all I would recommend these to anyone looking for casual use shoes that are extremely durable. For a serious skater I would look elsewhere, as these would probably wear down fast and not have a good board feel.

I bought these for my oldest son. These shoes work great for him since the solid black color allows him to wear them to work since they don't look like tennis shoes. He says they are very comfortable!

These shoes look great but they were a full size smaller than our normal size.

First pair of DC and loved the style and the traction they provided but I could not get them to tighten enough they run big and the lining is very slick and difficult to walk in

Dc shoes are my favorite of all time. I’ve been a loyal “buyer” for years. My very favorite style has been the dc command shoe. It was discontinued much to my huge disappointment. The Pure black and white is comfortable and stylish but in terms of overall quality, it is no match compared to the dc command, the best shoe dc ever made.

Shoe is thickly padded so as my foot is on the wide side it felt snug but ok.I find this shoe to be a whole size to small.I Usually take an 11.5 sometimes a 12 depending on style and manufacturer.Ended up trying the 12.5 and my toes still felt too close to the front than I am used too.Nice looking in the gray but overall too young looking with the wide white sole.Returning.

I wear 14's or 15's depending on the brand. I tried these in 15 and my toes were pressed against the front of the shoe. I like the visual style of these shoes, but, in addition to the length issue, they didn't fee like they had much arch support.

Really like the way these shoes look and feel. (the video/pix didn't help that much) They only downside is that they scuff easy. Scuff marks are easy to see and hard to clean of the shoe. Other than that great shoes!

Awesome shoes, they are very comfortable and fit true to size.

This is the second pair of DC Pure's that I've purchased. They are the only skate shoes I've found that fit comfortably on my size 14 feet! I would recommend them to those like me who wear bigger shoe sizes, especially if you have medium width.

Wide toe box, comfortable fit. Stiff lower, but to be expected as it is a skating shoe. Originally I had the 11 and had to go up to an 11.5.

The DC Pure SKU: #7215638 Are Very Comfortable, great grip, superb style and quality materials. I miss the extra pair of laces that used to come with DC Shoes.

Very stiff sole with almost no flex to it. Otherwise comfortable without being too tight around my foot and the heel doesn't cut in or rub. I also like that the tongue isn't super thick like many DC and other skate shoe brands. Simple clean style that isn't quote low enough to be a low top but not high enough for a mid top either.

Great looking shoes, but the size (15) was amazingly short. There aren't any 16s in the same color, but I might opt for a different color. Great looking shoes.

I got the rainbow colored ones in size 11.5 and I usually wear between 11 and 11.5 depending on the width of the shoe, but when I tried them on, my toes immediately began to rub the end of the shoe. I'm 30, so my feet aren't still growing, and I do think they run a bit short.

These shoes are sturdy stylish and may just last more than 2 months like my other skate shoes. A bit light in the support department so I threw in some arch supports and now they are good to go.

It took me a couple times to get this shoe to fit correct, because it was pinching by right front of shoe, and the inside seams hurt at times. You will typically have to order one size larger than you normally wear for these shoes. I love the design, and always get complements on them.

There aren't too many options out there for all-black skate shoes. This one is solid. A bit rigid and like my other pair of DC shoes, will probably take some time to break in. Don't plan on touring a city on foot right away in these. My pair of Vans is more comfortable, but wear out really quickly.
