Good looking shoe and the wife says "they don't look klunky like your others." Sole is very stiff and will take 2-3 weeks of wear before you will feel you're not wearing wooden shoes from Holland.

I have a son out of town that needs shoes-he gets them THE NEXT DAY! They are the EXACT kind he likes...and very reasonable! I also have a son that wears size 16-if you have ever tried to find shoes that size-you would know what a challenge-they have them also and reasonable! I LOVE Zappos!

Great cushion feel, needed half a size bigger because of wide feet but even so still fit snugly enough in the back with extra room up front, good construction.

Perfect shoe! I have been looking for just a nice everyday shoe that's not a business attire, but not just a gym shoe either. I have been to several stores, malls, you name it. I saw this and thought it looked worth a try and in person it fits perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. Can wear with jeans or shorts and it's just a nice shoe for a young guy. I used to purchase Vans shoes and after two months the soles were showing signs of wear. With DC shoes they last much longer on the interior and exterior.

I have long been a fan of Vans, but it has become impossible to find a solid black shoe including the sole. I guess I'll have to wait another 17 yrs for the style that I like to come back around, since all the Vans these days seem retro. Regardless, the DC Pure fits the bill, it did take a day or two of wearing them to completely break them in, but they have been very comfortable since. I would certainly buy another pair.

Have always loved DC shoes. They've stopped making the dark navy, so I bought the grey instead. They're always comfortable and get them shipped very quickly to me (saving me time and money).

These are great skate shoes. They fit well, run true to size and look great. They are exactly as described and we could not be happier with them. I also love the free overnight shipping - you cannot beat that!

This is my 5th pair of DC Pure. Once I wear a pair out (usually takes about a year) I go right back, no question. These are the best shoes you could ask for. Takes a few weeks to break in a new pair because they are solidly made. Would recommend to anyone as a great everyday shoe.

My husband is a house painter so he is on his feet all day. These shoes were so comfortable that he reluctantly made them his paint shoes so he could get through his work days without aching feet. He loved the style and hated giving them up as his street shoes so I bought another pair. Now he is comfortable day and night. We recommend these shoes 100%!

I love these shoes. Heavy duty, well constructed. These DC's replaced my old Van's. I use them on platform pedals on my mountain bike, dirt jump, urban freestyle, commuting long range. I am going to buy another pair soon, not that I need to, I just like them so much, I have to! Love Zappos too! You have a lifetime customer here! Thanks!

Got these for my son and I love them! But he loves them more! The colors are vibrant and the shoes last for a very long time!

These shoes are very comfortable. The design is nice and I like the color. I am very difficult when I choose new pair of shoes. You can buy because you won't be disappointed.

I use them for work. This is the 4th pair I've bought from Zappos of the Pures. My only complaint is they didn't have my size in the Black/Carbon. So I settled on the pirate black. Shipping was ridiculously fast as always. Super happy, I might have to buy another pair while they are on sale. I got many a compliment on these shoes and I tell them all about Zappos.

Nice shoe. Well put together. Although, it didn't have the tongue straps as described. At least not in my size. I have wide/flat feet and DC sneakers are one of the few brands of sneakers I can wear, even with an arch support insert if I take out the removable insert in the shoe. All around good sneaker. I live in wet climate and the suede on DC shoes seems to fair better in the rain, here, too.

I didn't buy these from Zappos but from a local skate shop. I used them for almost a year of (mostly) casual use and then the sole started wearing away at the balls of my feet. I'd say they're great shoes and since they lasted me so long I rate them five stars. They felt really comfortable, especially after broken in. The padding on the tongue was enough, but not excessive as with most DC shoes (i.e. the court graphics that everyone seems to have). They don't have the best grip for skating, if you're mostly skating though, you probably won't want to get shoes like this. Vans for example have much better grip on the sole and are better suited for skating (along with flexing much more). All in all I would recommend these to anyone looking for casual use shoes that are extremely durable. For a serious skater I would look elsewhere, as these would probably wear down fast and not have a good board feel.

I bought these for my oldest son. These shoes work great for him since the solid black color allows him to wear them to work since they don't look like tennis shoes. He says they are very comfortable!
