Very Cool - Wow! I needed these shoes for an Elvis Act I was going to do with my black jumpsuit, they looked great together. I was kinda worried they would not get here in time, but they came the next day how cool is that? Thanks Again.

Fancy - Ordered a 1/2 size larger as recommended. Foot fit fine a little loose around the ankle. Placed a gel cushion and it snugged it up well. They look too good for casual.

Added Insoles Help - I've had these boots for a couple of months now and I love 'em! I did add padded insoles which helped lessen the effect of the flat, hard factory insole that caused some fatigue when wearing them for extended periods. Very cool boots!

Stylish but not for Everyday - The other reviewers are correct: buy this shoe a bit larger than normal and you will be happy you did. The toe is a bit more pointed than expected, yes. But it is not worse than most of the cowboy boots I see around here, and is far more dressy. Be aware that the sole has little texturing for grip, and relies mostly on how soft the sole is. Sand easily gets ground into the sole without much effort. Also, due to the higher heel than more common shoes, this will work out some muscles and tendons that you might not be accustomed to using every day.

Jim - These are the best pair of dress boots I have ever bought. Not only are they very comfortable, but they are classy and well-designed. I will buy another pair soon because I think they are so great.

Very snazzy - Shoe looks great and fits remarkably well, though it will take some breaking in to be completely comfortable. The price to comfort & looks ratio makes this a boot well worth buying!

Flamenco dancers delight - I bought two pairs of these boots for two no-dance-experience high school boys learning to dance flamenco. They like them very much. I have heard no complaints, even though these boys have never tried to even walk in a shoe with such a high heel. What they've done for their self-esteem!

Great Boot! This is a great boot. I wish it came in brown and burgundy. I have worn Giorgio Brutini shoes since the 80's. Their shoes and boots have always been stylish. In fact I still have an old pair of patent leather shoes and a pair of demi boots from the 80's. I have received a lot of compliments on these boots.

Great boot - For the price this boot is great, looks like a high dollar boot, feels good, and I have gotten only compliments from wearing them. They are very narrow but after wearing them a few days the stretch out like any other shoe. I would buy a half size larger if you want to have more room. Overall this is a great shoe and I plan on buying more in diff colors.

Simply Gorgeous! The caution on the width is very true. The shoe feels very much smaller than normal width, but you get used to it. The style of the shoe really can't be expressed in a photo or words, they must be seen to be truly appreciated. They are simply gorgeous. Keep in mind, the picture doesn't represent how pointed to toe is

Best boot in the Giorgio line - I received my boots yesterday, and am extremely pleased in general! I have ordered from Zappos many times, but this was the fastest delivery yet. In addition, I have ordered 3 different pairs of Giorgio Brutini boots in the past, and these are by far a better product than the others. the others I got had manufacturing variations in the pattern, causing differences in form and fit, whereas these looked almost exactly like they did in the display photos...the only real difference was they were ever so slightly lighter in color in real life. In reality, that doesn't matter at all because they look simply fantastic! Not only that, these cost about half as much as the others I bought! The fit is great, not too wide or narrow, and there is a slight amount of cushioning on the insole that feels great. The sole itself is a hard but somewhat grippy rubber, which doesn't make a clomping sound when you are walking on hard surfaces like a leather sole. I don't feel like I'm going to slip out on them. Same with the heel. It didn't feel too high, and they don't hurt the balls of my feet from walking in them. I gave comfort a 4 because the leather on the upper is a little stiff around the top, but I'm sure that'll break in. They look great with a slim cut jean and I'm sure just as good with trousers as long as they aren't baggy. I get the impression that these are not exactly meant for everyday wear, but you can go somewhat casual with them or dress them up; style-wise they are pretty versatile. I would suggest getting a pair before they are gone!

Looks great! I've gotten compliments, from the very beginning. It's a little stiff at the top. Probably it'll break in, but brand new, it rubbed above my ankle.

Dress Boots - The boots are exactly what I've been looking for. Excellent color, texture and comfort.

I must order another pair- these are great boots. At first they seemed a bit narrow but they're stretching out to fit just right. They are very stylish and with the 1 1/2 inch heel, perfect!

Giorgio does it again- Excellent bang for your buck, high style, looks great with boot cut jeans e.g. Diesel or Mavi. Gets a lot of looks from the ladies, with compliments to follow.

Even better looking than the picture! I first bought a pair in brown. I was so impressed by the style and fit that I bought another pair in black. Only reason comfort isn't rated 5 stars is that they aren't exactly made for hiking. Heel is slightly higher than normal. Not at the sky high limits that women walk around in, but certainly not like a pair of Nikes.

Love look, hurts ankles - Love the boots, but my ankles are used to a taller boot, so I guess I'm just not accustomed to less ankle support. I still love the boots, but I am seeking more ankle support.

Great shoe - I purchased these shoes for use in the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair. They are an excellent shoe for the period. (Minus the zipper, but can't really see that at all) However that means that the shoe is getting a lot more use than what I would generally put a shoe through. After the first day I realized that the insole on the shoe wasn't going to cut it. I purchased new insoles and set about removing the old one. Which is attached VERY well I might mention. It is also paper thin which explains the comfort issue over prolonged periods of time. My advice. For occasional wear these are great. If you plan on being on your feet all day or dancing a lot, go a full size bigger and purchase a good insole. As it is now, the shoes are a little tight but that was after an hour of scraping the old insole off and shaving down the new one to fit properly.

Great Boot - Looks great with Jeans or dressed up. Runs small and has little arch support. So suggest going a 1/2 size larger and getting after market arch supports for better comfort.

Go Larger - After reading other reviews on this boot I ordered a half a size larger than I usually do. It fit well so I'm glad I ordered a half size larger. The side zippers at times are hard to zip up. Over all this is a good looking well made boot. For the money it's really good.
