Long Time Wearer - These are the greatest tennis shoe that I have ever worn. Have been wearing them for over 16 years. Was so happy to find them online as I haven't been able to buy them at local stores. I always have two pair, an everyday pair and a "dress up" pair. I would encourage every tennis shoe wearer to try them.

Best Tennis Shoe EVER! I have worn this tennis shoe since its inception and along with it have tried an occasional other shoe. NO other shoe can compare with the endurance, comfort, or lasting looks of the original Tretorn. Tretorn holds up and performs just as I need and want it to do. Happy I found a source for Tretorn - I wore Tretorn tennis shoes in the 70's and 80's. They fit my foot like none other. I particularly enjoy the fact that the heel surround fits my foot and that I have all day comfort wearing them.

Comfortable just like I have always remembered - I bought the Tretorn Nylite Canvas shoe in pink to wear while attending an LPGA Women's Golf Clinic. Since I have never golfed, I decided to go the Tennis shoe route as I knew I would wear them again. The pink Tretorn Nylite looked great with my Lilly outfit and I did not slip or loose grip on the greens. If I do decide to explore golf more, then I will purchase golf shoes.

A blast from the past! I wore these tennis shoes when I played tennis in college 30 years ago, and they are still as stylish as they were then. Unfortunately, they don't have much support or padding, so they can't compete with today's state-of-the-art tennis shoes. I'll wear them for recreational use, not actually playing tennis.

The Very Best - I have a sciatic nerve problem in both hips and legs and these are the ONLY shoes I can walk in without pain. I have worn Tretorns for 25 plus years and nothing else compares.

Good old favorite... Happy to be able to finally find these. Great little shoe. Especially like when I'm looking for something casual, but not heavy like a typical sneaker.

Go a half-size up - I almost always wear a size 9, but a couple of my shoes are an 8.5. I ordered a 9 in this shoe but was surprised to find I need a 9.5! Otherwise, the shoes are pretty awesome. They're really light and easy to walk in, and they look retro-cool!

Long Lost--NOW FOUND - I wore these shoes in the 70's--as I love the low cut around my ankle---this is a great shoe for the cost and will wash really good and you will wear for a long time.

Finally! I love Tretorn's - always have - and when they went off the market I was devastated! I was so happy when I found them again at Zappos!

I just got the canvas Tretorn. I always wore them in high school in the 80's. I like the ones I got. I got the size I wear in everything. They feel a little long and am wondering if I should have bought the size down. They are really cute.

Tretorn used to make a narrow width and a B width. These shoes are closer to the narrow width. This is what I wanted since the B width is very wide. I am very pleased with my new Tretorn's. They are just like the Tretorn’s of the past.

The Most Comfortable Tennis Shoe Ever..... This Canvas Tennis Shoe is the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever worn. They are light-weight and washable and great for travel. I've been buying these shoes for the past 15 + years.....They are hard to find......but thanks to Zappos....I have a new pair!

Women's Tretorn Nylite Canvas - I love Tretorn’s and have worn them for years! They are hard to find and I love that Zappos has so many colors and styles available.

Tretorn’s - A Classic! I wore Tretorn’s in college in the seventies and was so thrilled to find them at Zappos -- with my latest purchase of the "green" pair; I can match nearly any outfit I wear. The shoes are perfect for casual wear -- I have even worn them with casual skirts. I buy a half size bigger than I would in a dress shoe -- mainly because I do wash my canvas shoes, and I think they may draw up a teeny bit in the wash. I love my Tretorn’s -- they are so comfortable and they bring back great memories of those preppy college days. Well, I guess I'm still preppy, but others would enjoy wearing them too!

Found My Sneakers - Years ago I wore Tretorns all the time and loved them. Couldn't find them for years - finally did - after random searches over the years - and there they were at Zappos. I love them as much as ever - a slight glitch when I first put them on - but I've walked in them a few times and they're great.

I Love Tretorn - I have been playing tennis for nearly 40 yrs. and Tretorn is the only shoe I will wear on the court. Finding Zappos makes it easy to buy Tretorn as many of the stores no longer carry them. I am well pleased with the service and the shoe.

I have wanted a pair of these classic navy-on- white Gullwings ever since grade school just because they are such a cute and straight-forward design. But now I know they are also extremely comfortable. Immediately after receiving them, I wore them all around NYC. It only took about two days of all day wear for them to relax and take shape around my wide feet. Now I can wear them with or with out socks. The only downside is that they started to get scuffed on the first day of wearing them. I love how they look white so for me these are more to wear around town than to walk my dog on the dusty country road where I live.
