ZAPPOS IS THE BEST!

Love these shoes! A flash back to my past. I sprayed them with ScotchGard before I wore them the first time and now they are very easy to clean. I think they may run a little on the small side but after a few wearings they feel perfect.

Tretorn has made the best tennis shoe for many years. They have the best design and fit super well.

I agree with other reviews that this shoe appears to be constructed differently than the shoe of the 80s; however, I find them as comfortable as the originals and possibly a little lighter weight. This is still a great shoe despite the tweaks that have been made over time. Comfortable, breathable and stylish!

The only sneaker I can wear and be comfortable. I love my sneakers. When they are old and dirty I wear them out in the garden.

I have worn these shoes for years. There\'s nothing fancy about them but they are lightweight and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

A light weight and ultra comfortable shoe. I have loved this style for decades but have had a hard time finding it in the stores. I used the sizing chart and got a perfect fit.

First of all, I can't say enough good things about how fast Zappos get your stuff to you! The Tretorn upper part is not as cushy as it was in the 80's, but I felt the bottom offered more support than I expected after reading other reviews. These are not the same Tretorns we wore in the 80's, but they are still great shoes.

I was so pleased to find Tretorn sneakers again. Lightweight and comfortable, not clunky like other athletic shoes, yet have good support. Great for walking. I like the way they look!

I think another reviewer said it best when they remarked that while these Tretorns look like the "old school" tennis shoes of our youth, they aren’t made to the same standard any more. Gone is the comfy padding and yes, they are now more like a pair of Keds. Having said that, they still look great and that’s what really counts for me. They are a classic and I’ll probably end up buying another pair when these get worn out.

I love these shoes! I had a pair as a young girl and completely wore them til they fell apart. Several years ago, I purchased another pair (in leather) and although they were not my favorites, I only recently had to discard them as I wore them out (they were coming apart). My husband saw how much it broke my heart to have to get rid of my Tretorns and bought me the exact pair I had as a young girl (25 years ago yikes). I love them. I wear them everyday. Shopping, is taking my kids tp from school, anytime I can. They are perfect for Florida for me!

Bringing 80s back - I forgot how comfortable my Tretorns were back in the day... they're lightweight, easy to wash, and go with everything. LOVE THEM!!!

These are not your original Tretorn sneakers. To my mind they are not as sturdy as they used to be. But having said that I am happy with my purchase. These sneakers weigh practically nothing so packing them does not make my suitcase 15 pounds heavier. They do run half a size small, so buy up.

I was excited I found these "retro" looking Tretorn shoes. These shoes definitely don't have the support they used to in the '80s but they are a cute shoe for running around. By the way, these shoes are more off white and not bright white if that matter to you.

I am delighted that my favorite sneaks from my high school days are back on the market. These new Tretorns look just like the old ones and fit just like the old ones, but don't have the same cushy terrycloth lining or padding. The canvas is also a little bit flimsier than what I remember the original had and is definitely more ivory than white. This hasn't stopped me from wearing these preppy sneaks just about every day since they arrived. The sole is still very thick and sturdy, and the pink color is super cute.

I loved these shoes in the early 90's but was disappointed the style changed so much. The inside of the shoe is not as soft. The pink is nice though. I will keep these shoes for going out and about with my two small boys but I doubt I'll order another pair down the road since they are less supportive than I anticipated. I also ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear and they just fit.

These are cool shoes. The heel slides off every once in awhile, so I need to tie them up tightly to prevent this. Otherwise, they are very comfortable.

I bought two pair of Tretorns so my daughter and I could match this summer. I wore these all through High School, had owned countless pairs and loved them. I must concur with the other reviews I read about them being more cheaply made and not as sturdy or cushioned. They are not. I'm keeping them strictly for nostalgia. Still love the design, wish they were made like 25 years ago.

Wow. Severely cheap shoe. Would return but my daughter spilled chocolate milk on them. So I guess I have new garage shoes.

Love these...had them in Middle school back in the day. Great to wear without socks. Ordered a 9 which is always my size but had to exchange for a 8 1/2...still a little big but if you wash them they do shrink a bit.

They came exactly as ordered in a speedy way. I have been enjoying wearing them this summer...they're very comfortable.

I used Tretorn 20 years ago for tennis, then I got into the heavier "Newer" shoes, well I'm back and they are great! Lighter and still fashionable!
