I bought the black, embossed leather. I bought my standard Vans size - a 9.5. I had just, within the last month, bought a white pair from this same posting. Anyways, the length of the shoe fits my feet, but holy smokes the hole to get your feet in is MINISCULE. Like, I have to do a serious dance to get my foot in. Which makes no sense because the white pair I bought is easy as pie, like most Vans are. Unfortunately I've already worn them once, so I don't think there is hope for a return. I just hope they stretch out / I wonder if this was just a defective pair. And on the bright side, my white pair are wonderful.

Shoes look good and feel good for the most part. Not sure if it's just me but the back of the shoe where it meets the Achilles is VERY pointed and digs into the Achilles heel. This is on both sides. Rest of the shoe is quite comfortable. I'm hoping this softens up over time but it's pretty uncomfortable if I'm wearing thin socks

If you have narrow feet these shoes can fall off from walking. Gave me blisters in the heal...

Cute and comfortable. But it runs a tad large, and that fact, combined with the fact that the sole is a bit stiff and heavy, means that you really need to find the right fit. I normally wear an 8 and this 8 is too large, but I can tell going down a whole half size probably would get too tight in the toe. There are more stylish shoes of this slip-on style out there.

Was looking for some all black in this style; the patent crackle felt so comfortable, but the black had a tint to it that I didn't quite like. Returned and got a different black leather pair of Vans.

These Vans in Grey suede are so cute and fit well, however, the stitching for the elastic is very rough. It would make the show very uncomfortable and/or cut your skin. You would have to wear socks to avoid this and I don't think that would be a good look for this shoe. Unfortunately I will return this shoe.

I really enjoy these classic vans but these unfortunately are going back. I got the ones with the furry inside. I needed some warm shoes for cold London and I thought these would be perfect for all that walking on very cold weather. Not so much so. All the sides and bottom of the shoes has fur but no the top of the shoe. This left me disappointed seeing no way this shoes would be warm without socks.

I bought two pairs of Vans slip-ons in 7½ and 8. I'd never worn them before, so I bought both, based on recommendations. I typically wear a 8N. The 8 was way too wide and long, but the 7½ had a perfect narrow fit. So I decided to keep the 7½. I wore them to class and work, and by the time the day was over, my feet were crying. I had a blister on my toe, and they were just downright uncomfortable. I was really sad, because they are super cute shoes, but they're just not for my feet.

Love the shoe for my daughter but it has no give and she cannot even get her foot into the size 7 she usually wears in Vans. I'm hoping a size up will work.

Looked huge on my foot. I was looking for a athleisure sneaker that was still a little feminine and this is not it!

Super comfy, but looked a little bit like something my grandmother would have worn.

Love the style but was disappointed at the fit they were narrow and the stitching inside rubbed my foot. My daughter who has a narrow foot tried them on as well and felt they were too tight as well. I usually wear a 9 but ordered a 9.5 for the extra room but these were still too snug.

The two shoes are of markedly different color and slightly different texture and although 7.5 is my size in VANs slip-ons, both 7.5 and 7 were too big.

I got the pink perforated suede version of the shoe and I loved it until after 3 very light wears the outer material (the suede) started disintegrating. I could literally rub it off. I might order these again in canvas because I loved the style and feel but I would not recommend ordering the perforated suede.

Cute but a bit stiff. I don't have the time to break them in so will be returning.

I've been wearing the canvas pair for the past few years and it was super comfortable. I decided to go with this sueded one and the sizing is different. Way too big! It also felt narrower and I'm well into my 2nd week of wearing it and my feet still get achy.

I returned these. Not comfortable at all, and feel very heavy when walking. Too bad because they look good.

It's such a cute shoe!! I wish I could make it work. I have bought this shoe from two different places and have had to return both pairs do to fit issues. One pair was way to small and one pair is too narrow. It's bummer. I've worn Vans for many years and this is the first production issue I've run across. I have the same pair in a perforated White leather, I bought this summer and have zero issues. Just be careful with this one.

It is stiff. Rubs raw in certain spots. Might break in, but might not. Not sure it's worth keeping.

It's a shoe that is obviously made for unisex sizing. In closed toe shoes I most often take an 11, but the 11's were way too big on me. Wide and long. I'll be returning.

If you have a tall arch, or toenails that turn up like mine - fuggedaboudit, your foot will not be comfortable in these. Also they provide no support. They are OK for a teenager with no clue but for me? I need cushioning and support. They are very cute, though.

Great looking shoe, loved the convenience of the slip on, but not as comfortable as I wanted. The top part of the shoe by the ankle pinches after a while and the plastic thread is irritating.

For some reason, the black on black checkered Vans slip-ons fit much smaller than this shoe model in all the other colors that I have tried. I have ordered gray and black checkered slip-ons and blue and blue checkered slip-ons - all from Zappos, but the two times that I have ordered black on black I could barely fit my feet into them. I love this shoe model, and would try them again in a fourth color, but I do not recommend this color because the fit is much smaller than the fit typically is for this model.

I love the style but felt much tighter on my feet than other vans classic slip-ons. I returned them as I was concerned that they would end up giving me several blisters on my upper heels as the leather wrap around the back of the shoe was uncomfortable to me.

I couldn't figure out how to edit my review, but I felt it was fair to add a star. After I spent some money on "Heavenly Heelz" pads and padded the vamp and the collar, the embossed leather slip-ons are much more comfortable. They squeak if I wear them barefoot now with the pads, but what can you do...I will now be wearing them with the Smartwool Secret Sleuth socks, which are awesome and can be found right here on Zappos, by the way. Anyhow, I'm appeased and pleased now because I will be able to were them on vacation. Yay!
