Very comfortable fit and stylish clean design

Love these shoes, but they have a lump on the inside of the top where the stitching is that rubs on the inside of my ankle.

Blisters, blisters, blisters! Super cute shoe, but sadly I will never wear them. The back of the shoe has stiff leather and a seam on the heel, which has caused nasty blisters on both of my heels. I have tried breaking them in by wearing the shoes around the house with socks, rubbing oil on the leather, and even hitting the shoes with a hammer....and nothing. The heel is still stiff as a rock. Do yourself a favor and look for a pair of Van's in a different material.

Very sleek and cool

I have one word for this shoe, and that is, clunky. I should have noticed that this isn't a women's shoe. It's a men's shoe that lists the appropximate women's size corresonding to the men's. If you're looking for something clompy, this is it! I was looking for something slightly more refined.

I bought my first pair of Vans classic slip-ons a few years ago and I am full convert. I typically wear a size 10 wide, but these fit me without problems. I don't know what sorcery it is, but it's true. For that, I will always love these shoes. Next, let's talk about the variety of options Vans offers. My first pair was perforated grey leather. Adorable, went with every outfit. I recently had to throw those away because they were so worn out, but believe me they got a lot of wear. My second pair was a floral print with white, grey, and lavender as the main colors. Pretty much my favorite shoes ever. Canvas upper, extremely comfortable. My most recent purchase (and inspiration for finally writing this review) was the oversized herringbone in black and white. Once again, Vans knocks it out of the park. These shoes are amazing. The herringbone is perfect. The only (tiny) issue is that the right foot shoe is a bit scratchy inside due to the stitching of the elastic side part-- but it's already becoming less of an issue after wearing them around the house for 10 minutes. I don't find these shoes to make my feet look bigger at all, as some people have noted. If you have never tried the Vans classic slip-on, I'd highly recommend!

Bought these for my teenage son and he absolutely loves them!!! At this point he has a small collection of Van's shoes!

Cool looking shoes, however, they were way too narrow. With a pair of socks on I could barely get the "slip-ons" on. I really wanted them to work, but no. Way too narrow, for me.

I normally wear a size 7.5 for most shoes. The 7 fit better with these Vans. I love the retro style! They feel great on my feet! No complaints.

These shoes are sooooo cute I love them so much

These are my third pair of vans (that my parents haven’t bought me lol decades ago) I have a pair of era classic lace up and another pair of classic slip ons in canvas and I just bought the leather ones. I just love them, they are as comfortable right out of the box as the others, although, I have to warn about sizing. The leather slip ons run a half size bigger than the canvas ones which I already wear a half size smaller than the lace ups or they’ll slip off my heels. In other words, I wear a men’s 6/womens 7.5 in the lace up, a men’s 5.5/womens 7 in the canvas slip ons and when I ordered the Same size in the leather they were too big and I had to send them back for a 5/6.5 I thought maybe they were mislabeled but the smaller size measured up exactly the same, sole to sole,with my canvas 7’s. Thank you to Zappos for their always awesome customer service for exchanging them out for me!

I question the authenticity of this shoe. It came in an unmarked box (not the usual Vans box and the question was really questionable. I have bought Vans a bunch and these just didn't seem like real Vans.

The fitting was perfect! I got the gold color and it was beautiful! I ended up wearing it for two years straight (everyday)! Definitely worth the money. 100% recommend it.

Out of the box they did not fit well but I've had Vans in the past so to be expected. I put them in the microwave (yes, microwave) for about 30secs and put them on and walked around the house till they cooled... Wa lah... instant break in and fit like a glove now...

Great casual shoe. Looks fabulous and goes with almost anything. I can dress them up or down. The white sole gets dirty quickly, but they are very easy to clean with mild soap or simple green. After 4+ hours I did get tender heels/achilles, but threw some bandaids on before I got any blisters and I was good to go. Maybe after they break in more I won’t have to carry bandaids around with me. In summary; Love these shoes, have them in a variety of colors.

This is regards to the Oversized Herringbone color specifically. The heel cup was much more open in this style than it is in the usual colors (I've owned several in grey, checkerboard, and blue which all fit much better), causing my heel to pop out with every step. The length is correct and same as my old pair but unfortunately this color wouldn't work for my foot.
