Truly a classic look and feel. Having worn this style since the 80's, I know what I'm getting every time. Love the print! So cute with jeans or a dress.

I didn't expect such poor quality for so expensive kid shoes (paid $60+). My son really wanted a pair of Vans, which he got as a gift. But, as an active kid, he covered them in some dirt the first day of wear. Since these are canvas shoes, I went ahead and used water and a bit of dish soap on a sponge, as suggested in Vans' web site, to clean them. I've been cleaning shoes this way for the past 20+ years. After letting them dry, I was surprised to see that the color had faded! He only wore these shoes for 2 hours before they turned out to look as if he's been wearing them for a year. I didn't expect such poor quality and will think twice before investing in such shoes again.

Against my better judgment I bought these for my daughter. She has foot issues that require an orthotic. She can’t put it in these. But we’ll keep them because sometimes with teenagers style is everything.

Essentially, these shoes need no review. If you know them, you know exactly what you’re getting. The classic Vans slip ons.

Because they only come in a medium width, I ordered a size larger as was suggested on the website. They’re still too narrow for me and I am not able to get them over my instep. I will be returning them.

I get so many compliments on these shoes! They glow in the dark too and what’s cooler than that? They seem just a little snugger than my checkered Vans so if I were to buy another pair like them I’d go up a half size, the snugness isn’t so much they don’t fit, it’s just a tiny bit tight sometimes when my feet swell. Vans usually feel snug out of the box for me but they tend to loosen up after q couple of wears, these didn’t ask much as other pairs I own

These were so mis-sized or mis labeled they did not fit. even the 10 yo could not fit them.

Discovered this pair on worn on tv. Nice twist on vans checkered look. Blue butterflies look great with jeans.

The fit and size was perfect. The materials was fine. And the support felt great to walk in no pain or discomfort for my first pair of Vans. Was skeptical at first but I'm glad I got them. Happy.

THe size fits well. No arch support but for my son...he loves them

Color is awesome it’s a faded blue. Similar to Carolina blue. It’s been 3-4 years since my last Vans checkerboard. The quality is still there. I love these shoes. No arch support.

I was really excited for white on white checkerboard. But it’s more gray on yellow or off white. Think ivory wedding dress. I bought three style and this is my least favorite. Surprisingly, I thought these would be my favorite.

Look great. Feel great. I normally wear a 12 and these 12s fit perfectly. I also have very narrow feet and narrow heels. These don’t slip off my heels like some other shoes do.

Ordered by daughter's regular size in these and they are perfect. The bright yellow on these is like sunshine in a box and my daughter is finding that they are a fun pop of contrasting color with a wide variety of clothing.

I like to wear these shoes all summer. They happen to fit me perfectly. If I had money, I'd buy all the colors.

These are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Beyond being way too small, they are almost impossible to get on without pinching your fingers (ouch!) and the back rim cuts painfully into your heel. Just torture.
