Beautiful, perfect shoe except for fit. An 8 Wide is narrower than a purchase two years ago of same shoe sized 8 Medium by 1/4 inch. Now what do I do? Marked a 5 star product a 3 because of sizing.

Very disappointed. The inner sole/leather lining was cut off right above the ball of the foot and the gap is literally a 1/4" difference. Not the usual Sperrys I have bought for years.

I also wanted this style Sperry but knew it was a narrower style. When I saw they had them in wides online I decided to give them a try. They are still narrow in the toe and would take a lot a breaking into for me to stretch them out a bit. Was also disappointed that the plaid fabric sole didn't carry throughout the whole shoe; it stops about midway and you can feel the transition of where it stops. In the end I decided to stick with my BlueFish and that I will return these.

Mixed reviews on here about size...I wear an 8m and sometimes even a 7 1/2 depending on the shoe. With this shoe I tried the 7 1/2 (due to some saying it was too large) then tried my true size 8m and it was still too small and also very narrow.

One of the shoes was scuffed up. There's fabric below your foot instead of leather, which I find less comfortable in the heat. Otherwise, solid boat shoe, as usual.

I recently purchased my second pair of classic Sperry's and they were great at first. I have had a pair in the dark brown for over a year that were so good and I wore them until the sole wore out. A month ago i went ten an purchased my new Sperry's in the Sahara color. They were great at first just not as comfortable as my brown, but that was only because of the fact that they weren't worn in. However yesterday I realized that the seam holding the top of the shoe to the side had split.

Says narrow, but is way too wide for me! Must be returned. I'm disappointed.

I usually wear between a size 6 and 7 (usually 6½) and the 6 is a good fit. I bought these this past summer, and I still have not quite broken them in yet though, which is kind of a bummer. The first time I wore them I put on several Band-Aids (I am no rookie when it comes to breaking in shoes), but breaking these in was a nightmare. The back of my foot was really raw for a few days. I have been hesitant to wear them since, but my co-worker, who has the exact pair, insists that hers fit like slippers! I am just hoping that mine get there soon enough. I wish that I had gone with the light brown, but these are still nice.

I bought these over summer and wore them about twice a week on averageand now there's a hole on the left shoe near the front stitching, the two pieces of leather basically came apart creating a hole. I thought the quality would be much better than thisso disappointed because I liked them :(

Shoes seemed to fit great when first worn. The longer I wore them they rubbed different areas on my feet. Very painful. They were supposed to be wide but not so. I even bought a shoe stretcher to try and stretch them, but it helped in some areas and not in areas where shoe rubs feet. Wish I would have sent them back. Waited to late hoping I could get them not to hurt.

I have a few pairs of Sperry's and I recently purchased the Women's Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe. I was impressed to see that it came in a wide size. I take a size 8 but I find Sperry's to run narrow, so I went with a wide width. When I got them in the mail and tried them on, they were too narrow (even though they were wide width.) I'll have to return them. The other Sperry's I have are not wide widths so maybe it's just the style that doesn't work for me. Still searching for another style to replace my older ones.

Basic well-made boat shoe. I thought the length from the toe over the top of the foot back toward the ankle was too long. But it fit well at the back, so I'm not sure that smaller size would have helped. Ended up returning this and going with different style, rather than experiment with size.

I like this style Sperry Topsider but the pair I received was defective. The inside lining was wrinkled at the heel and was impossible to smooth out, so the shoe was not wearable.

These are not very comfortable, but serve the purpose of being able to get wet and not being ruined, so I guess they're ok. I expected the lilac sole to be somewhat brighter, not sure why they seemed dull to me.

I bought these shoes because I love my older Sperrys and wanted a fun color for summer. Within 10 days of wearing them, the inside lining had started to tear and I sent them back to Zappos. They were awesome and sent me a new pair. The sad news is that the lining of this new pair has already torn again within two weeks of wear. They are good looking, comfortable shoes, but compared to my previous pair of Sperrys, these seem to be less durable and poorly made. That is disappointing given that my prior pair has taken a beating for years without issue.

This a cute soft shoe; however, I am disappointed in the foot bed. It is one half leather and one half material. The material part is rough with stitching in the middle. I will not keep these shoes. If they had a full leather sole, I would love them!

I have another pair of sperrys that I got a half size smaller than my regular size and they fit perfectly and are completely comfortable after being broken in. These ones were a little different though and I found the half size smaller to be too small because of how narrow the shoe is (I have wide feet). I got my regular size and they fit well but after wearing them around for the first day they really tore up my feet. I'm hoping they will conform to my feet after I break them in a little more like my other ones did. Still glad I bought them and found them on sale after thinking the shoe had been discontinued (thats what the sperry company told me).

I'm not sure if the sizing has changed, but I had a pair of Sperrys that I got several years ago that I absolutely loved. I recently purchased another pair but ordered them half a size smaller than my original pair. Although the shoe quality was great, I ended up having to return this pair because it was one full size too big.

*** This rating is on the canvas herringbone/corduroy shoe alone. I would give the leather version a much higher rating*** I have owned these shoes before in leather and loved them. This time I got them in the herringbone/corduroy which meant they were canvas. The shoes look really nice and I get compliments on them a lot. Unfortunately, the top of the shoe rubs on my cuticle, making them uncomfortable to wear. I am hoping that they will stretch a little and this will go away. Sperrys are usually a little uncomfortable at first and they tend to stretch. Hopefully that will happen with this pair.

I am normally between a 6 and a 6.5 in flat shoes, with a moderately high arch (I usually put arch supports into my shoes) and a narrow foot. This style runs half a size larger than the Sperry Bluefish 2-Eye (I wear a 6), and a whole size larger than a normal flat shoe. I tried on a 5.5 in this style, and length-width wise it fit perfectly. Unfortunately, there is no padding in this shoe at all, and the rubber bottom of the shoe is not very flexible. When I tried walking in them, they would come halfway off my foot because they were quite stiff. I imagine they would wear in and become more flexible, but the lack of arch support plus no padding to cushion my feet against the hard pavement made this shoe a pass for me.

Comfortable shoe, but not very much support. Very stylish, I get lots of compliments. However, my biggest complaint is that the soles are SO slippery. I don't know how they're supposed to be boat shoes if I'm skidding and slipping and sliding on linoleum!

I really these shoes, I got them in navy and the colour is great, they are super comfy and are really cute. The only draw back to the navy is the lining is also navy and dyes the souls of my feet every time I wear them. I have had these shoes for almost a year now and they still dye my feet. That was a little disappointing, but over all a good shoe.

I've worn the same shoe/style/size for decades and absolutely love them. My previous pair were still OK but I wanted a new pair for a resort vacation. I have never had any problems with the shoe in the past, but after wearing them one day I found that the interior leather lining had some sort of defect - a small rough patch near the seam where the interior meets the exterior. It caused a small laceration on my instep, which caused considerable discomfort when wearing the shoes. I could not wear them without further damaging my skin. I scraped the lining which seems to have smoothed it out and hopefully solved the problem. Normally I would give a 5-star rating but for this tiny defect that proved so uncomfortable.

I am not sure why everyone says these are so comfortable... at first I was told a 6.5 fit me best but I exchanged them for a 7 a couple days later because they were so tight. I normally wear about an 8. The heel seemed to be a little too wide for my foot but the rest seemed a little narrow. When I first tried to tie them, the shoe string broke on one of them! They seemed worn already. It took a long time to get the new laces laced correctly.I have been wearing socks with them because they rub my feet otherwise. I wish I did not have to wear them around for weeks for them to become comfortable but I am excited once they eventually break in. I do like the sparkles and the many designs that the shoes comes in, they are unique. They look good with different types of outfits. I hope to wear them all the time soon...

I got these because L.L. Bean doesn't offer their Blucher Mocs in a color of my liking anymore. These are way lighter than they look in the picture. I still liked them, but they barely cover the back of my foot - weird.
