There's a reason Birks have been around so long. These are fantastic quality, and my feet feel good even after 12hrs of being on my feet. I've recently discovered the soft footbed and that's the only thing that makes the Boston better!

My husband has been wearing this style of Birkenstock shoe since well before we met 7.5 years ago. In that time he's gone through 1.5-2 pairs (one that he had before we met and one that I bought him a few years back; I just purchased his latest pair this month). It takes about 2 weeks to break them in, he says, but they last a good 3 years, even when wearing them all day every day. Definitely worth the price! The style leaves a little to be desired (clunky, not particularly fashionable) but he loves them and doesn't care that people make fun of his "clogs," so they work for him.

An amazing shoe. It probably does run a little wider than indicated, because I have rather wide feet and it fit fine at a 'regular' width. The length was perfect. I'm not crazy about the color, but in my size (48), there aren't many color selections available. That being said, it is a ridiculously comfortable shoe. Aside from my 'wicked good' slippers from LL Bean, which I cannot wear at work (because they're slippers), they're the most comfortable shoe I own, and I own a lot of shoes. Love them. I'll definitely be buying more when these wear out.

I have been a devoted Birkenstock wearer since the early 90's when they were in fashion at that time and have worn the sandals whether or not they are "fashionable" ever since. They are durable and last for years. I love the comfort and support they provide. I have very wide feet and have a job that requires standing all day, and these have proven ideal for keeping my plantar fasciitis at bay. This is my first pair of the closed-toe style in over a decade. I can't really give them a 5-star rating for style, but Birkenstocks are kind of their own thing and thus get a pass on style. Plus, in my book, comfort always wins!

Best shoes ever! I am young and only 21 and yet have feet problems. If my shoes don't have support, my heels hurt. These clogs have been a life saver. Often I have come home from school with aching feet and when I slip these on its instant relief! I got these for the house on hardwood floors and it gives the support my feet need. No longer do my feet hurt when I'm home. Highly recommend!

I have lots of foot issues and have tried every shoe out there. I Also have custom orthotics that I had made for my feet. I decided to try these because I heard they have a unique foot bed. I got a pair of clogs with the idea to wear them inside only as a sort of slipper. Cant say enough great things about these shoes. I have less foot pain, actually almost none, when I wear them. I have resorted to wearing them to work just to confirm this. I have worn them all day at work for one week. Foot pain reduced by 80 percent. I have had these for three weeks and have come to the conclusion that the Birkenstock footbed is something of a miracle. I am now in the process of looking for a pair of actual shoes that I can wear to work that will be more appropriate. I also have very large, size 14 4E, and it is very hard to find shoes that are big and wide enough. These also fit really great in the normal width. All in all, very happy with this shoe brand. Also, Zappos is awesome as well. I have ordered quite a few things from Zappos over the years and the customer service is second to none. And wow shipping, always here the next day which is amazing. These are great! I originally bought the soft footbed and I did not love those. I have a high arch and really need the classic support. The soft footbed did not provide the same support. These are a much better fit. They are equally comfortable with socks or bare feet and are true to size. I normally wear a 39 in all Birkenstocks, and the 39 fit great with these. I did not need a narrow fit either.

I had plantar fasciitis for the past year so I have been careful about what shoes I buy and how they affect my feet. I turned to Birkenstocks about six months ago and got tremendous relief from wearing them. I bought two pair of sandals and wore them exclusively all summer. Now that fall is here, I needed closed toe shoes that would take their place. The footbed has a great arch support as I have a high arch. These shoes are always well made, attractive with the suede for fall. Really - you cannot go wrong with Birkies. I highly recommend them.

I have several pairs of Birkenstock sandals, but these are my first clogs. The footbed is just as comfortable, and the suede upper is super soft and already feel broken in. I will use a suede protecting spray. I bought these to wear on cool, dry days. I've just been wearing them around the house so far (only got them a few days ago) but they keep my feet really warm even without socks. Fit is still good with thick wool socks. They look surprisingly cute with ankle-length skinny jeans but also with longer, wider leg pants like boyfriend jeans. I was so sick of wearing flats with no support just to have my feet killing me at the end of the day. These will replace flats in my wardrobe. I am a 6.5/7 in US sizes. I order a 36 in Birkenstocks and it works for me.

These are great clogs. I have always been a Birkenstock fan, only buying the sandals, however. So I really wanted to get a comfortable clog. Later I might get the shoe version. What I enjoy the most about this shoe is the wide toe box, the arch support and the sort of retro, boho style. I tend to wear a lot of heels, pointed toe shoes that are on-trend, stylish and fashionable, so my feet really appreciate a break from those shoes that constrict your feet. Style can be comfortable. For my weekend look I may wear these with a white T, pencil skirt and a sweater or light jacket, with jeans cuffed or harem pants, chunky sweater or slouchy tee or top. For creative style and comfort, these are the shoes.

Great service and superb product. I have big feet and was glad that I was advised to order slightly longer, which I did and these are just right. I'm in the process of breaking these in (see 4 stars below). What I mean by that is, I have super flat feet and I await the inner sole melding to my foot. This is my 3rd pair of Birks in this style and I've always had to gradually "break them in." (My wife has a good, strong arch and does not have this issue at all with her Birks; they immediately support her higher arch exactly as she desires.) When my inner sole melds into my shape, these will be perfect. I like this color and the suede, for a change.

These shoes are very comfortable. My feet never hurt when I wear them, even when I wear them 12-14 hours. I wear Birkenstock's most of the time, so I was able to wear these shoes right out of the box without any "breaking in" time. I've also gotten caught in the rain wearing them a few times, and they dried without any spots or marks. I would definitely buy them again. They aren't the most attractive shoe. But I chose comfort over style.

This is my third pair of Boston's and I LOVE them just as much as when I first started wearing them. It had been awhile since I'd worn a new pair, so my feet were sore for a little while during the break-in period, but now that they've started molding to my foot they feel great! Highly recommend these shoes!

I have had these shoes for 6 years now. I ***ADORE*** them. Like most Birks, they have molded to my feet, and they are perfect.

I originally ordered the wrong size, but returned and reordered the clog. I had the correct pair the next morning! Zappos shipping is amazing! And I love the shoe. I'm a bank teller and on my feet all day. The Birks mold to your foot for supreme comfort!

Excellent durable shoe - great quality. This shoe is roomy and does give with time, so you should feel comfortable ordering a 1/2 size smaller.

A must have! I just got my first pair of Birkenstocks clogs. Everything that has been said about these shoes is true. I did not experience any break-in time. I'm a size 6.5 (37), but 5-5.5 (36) feels perfect in these clogs, so they are running a little too big. My feet are regular width and any shoes with big arches tend to hurt me, but not these shoes. I am looking forward to getting another pair and trying their sandals next summer. By the way, they look great with blue jeans!

Fabulous Birkenstock. Bought for son to replace 3-year-old Birks and he said they are great out of the box. Comfy, very little break in time. A classic with a timeless look. It is best to wear socks in these clogs to absorb moisture. The old Birks got very "gamey" because my son didn't want to look like a nerd. I wish there was a good way to sufficiently dry them out between uses. Of course, Zappos is the best. I have bought lots of shoes from them and their customer service is amazing.

Birkenstock Boston in Black Suede - All Birkenstock's are great, but the Boston suedes are my favorite. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for about 25 years - way before they were popular. I don't put much of anything else on my feet. I even found a pair of black patent leather Bostons for dress up. You can't go wrong - as far as comfort - if you buy these. They also last forever - I had a pair of taupe suede Boston's that lasted me 10 years. I have very flat narrow feet and the narrow fit sometimes may be too loose. I either tighten them up in the last hole or take them to the shoe shop so an additional hole can be put in.

Comfort and ease - These are the most comfortable and easiest shoes to wear. I wore them on a trip and it made it easy for me at the security check-- on and off in a jiffy! I have them in many styles and colors.

Birkenstock's Boston's are Great - I have wide flat feet and it is difficult to find comfortable shoes. I have been a fan of Birkenstock sandals for twenty years but this is the first time I tried the clogs and I am very pleased.

Love these shoes! I don't stay still, ever, and these shoes come right with me. Birks were recommended to solve leg cramps, and they are so comfortable. Give it a couple days, because it does exercise your feet, and they might be a little sore, but then you will be able to wear them everyday, no problem.

Zappos saves the day! These Birkenstocks are comfortable and warm, light and durable. Zappos says the shoes would send the next day, and, though it was just before Christmas, we got them the next business day! I was truly impressed.
