Beautifully made sport sandal. Arch and back support are amazing. Very comfortable for walking even on rough terrain. Right foot feels a little snug across the front of the foot so I hope it will stretch. Love the wine and black color combination.

I am debating about returning them because the color in the photo does not match the color I received. I have an old pair of Ecco Yucatan sandals in Chili Red. I ordered the Morillo/Port because it appeared to have a more purplish shade but they are almost the identical color as my old ones. I am very disappointed that the photograph was not a true color.

These looked nice in picture and in person, but they seemed to run small and narrow. I have a regular size 11 foot, and my toes touched the front edge and the shoes felt as if they were squeezing my feet. Had to return.

These sandals were highly recommended to me by a friend after hearing my tale of woe about not being able to find a suitable walking shoe for an upcoming trip to Switzerland. She reported that she wore them on her recent trip to Europe and loved them. My issues are several: plantar fasciitis, arthritic big toe joint, over pronation, and hip/ back/walking problems. I had ordered at least a dozen pair of shoes from Zappos, all of which had to be returned --much to my disappointment and frustration. I have worn these sandals ( color --Atmosphere/Ice White) a few times since receiving them and they seem like they will work. I chose these colors because of the need for flexibility with different outfits. The support seems quite good and the Velcro straps are a huge plus, especially given my arthritic toe joint. I will be wearing them on an upcoming 2-week trip to Switzerland and will report on how they worked after I return; I am optimistic they will meet my needs of cushioning for the plantar fasciitis and firmness for stability in my walking. I have only given 4 stars since I don't know how my feet will do on the trip. I might note that I just noticed that my husband has the men's version of this shoe, has been comfortably wearing them for a few years, and has been very satisfied with them.

This is my second pair of ECCO sandals. After two years - the last pair were starting to smell. I think they got wet too many times without drying out properly? Anyway, that pair fit like a glove. The new pair feels a little off. I thought I was buying the same style, but these don't feel the same. After wearing these a couple of hours, I felt a sharp pain cutting across the top of my left foot. The strap across the back of my foot seems to sit lower than the last pair too. I've tried adjusting the velcro strap, but I loosened it- it just slid down the back of my foot. Not giving up on these. They may just need some time to break in and adjusting. The foot of the bed is like the last pair. Good support.

I loved the way this show looked and would have been happy to keep it, but the arch support hit too far back to be comfortable. :(

I really wanted this to fit - very comfortable and a great support, good tread, etc. I'm between and 8 1/2 and 9. The 8 1/2 was perfect except for the length. The 9 was so wide that the velcro only caught about an inch on each adjustment, coming loose when I walked around the house.

These shoes were so pretty and I hated that they did not work for me. I returned them because the strap at the toes would not adjust wider. It appears that the strap is adjustable but under it is another strap so you can't make it wider. I would buy them again if they fix that toe strap !!!

I love these! But I can't wear them. The straps over the forefoot rub on my bunions.

I'm sorry I couldn't keep these. I was looking for a pair of supportive walking sandals and I had hoped these would work. Overall these are a nice, supportive athletic sandal but there was two things that bothered me. The strap across the toes was a little narrow even though I don't have a very wide foot. Even though the strap is adjustable, the neoprene part underneath is not and that is what was too tight. But the thing that bothered me more than that and the reason I decided to return these is that the back strap has a lining that overlaps on one side and that was bothering the back of my heel. Also arch support is fair only.

I found these to be a little short for the size. I was barely inside the footbed, so worried it would not work for walking long term. Returned them but was sorry I could not use these. Also wish there was a narrow option. Too Wide as well for narrow feet.

Really nice looking sandals, well constructed. The positives: The velcro straps allow you to adjust at the toe and ankle, which is important for someone like me with wide toe spread and narrow ankle. The negatives: Very little cushion in heel (I can tell I would get shin splints walking in these). Also, the arch support hit in a funny spot (not in my arch, felt like an uncomfortable bump). Worst of all, I tended to pronate outward on the right heel. They also ran quite small. I wear a 9.5 but ordered the 10-10.5 and they were just barely long enough for me. Just not the right shoe for me.

I normally wear a 7 wide. Some reviewers said these sandals worked for their wide feet, so I gave them a try. Good arch support and probably a great sandal for you if you have a normal width foot. Why make an adjustable sandal and limit the adjustment with neoprene across the toe? The foot bed also felt too narrow for me. Back they go.

This is an update to an earlier review. I took a star off these sandals for two reasons. One, they don't come in half sizes and they should, because even though they are sandals and are adjustable, there is far too big a difference in the whole sizes. I ended up with a 38, which is a tiny bit small for my 7.5 foot. I ordered a 39 to be sure, but it could not adjust tightly enough to stay snug on my foot. The other reason is that there is not quite enough arch support. I solved this by cutting up a pair of cheap Bzees which I can't wear, and sticking the arch support in those where the arch is. Problem solved. Otherwise, they are a rarity. Comfortable and supportive and stable without feeling like bricks. They are quite well cushioned and flexible. Very good quality. They are not bad looking. I am pleased with them all in all and I see why everyone raves about them. I got the green, which is calming and pretty for warm weather and goes with a lot. I am looking forward to a season of feet that are as happy as mine can get, and not having to sweat in sneakers all summer long. If that happens, I will look at another color. So far so good.

This is a nice and sturdy sandal. Felt like it would be great for walking. Unfortunately, ran a little narrow for my foot in the bunion area.

I selected this shoe because it had so many reviews that were positive. The shoe is really well made and looks like it can hold up for a long time. I have very long toes so I went up a size to make sure my toes were not hitting the front end of the shoe. The length worked out but the shoe is designed with a little curve up at the front and I could feel it with my toes. You can feel it with your fingers if you push down on the sole of the shoe. It is kind of like the Birkenstock shoe, it has a little edge around the front of the shoe covered by the sole but still can be felt. I could not go up another size or the shoe wouldn't fit anywhere else. Darn these long toes. My husband bought the same shoe. He has short stubby toes so it worked great for him.

For those of us with a narrow foot - this sandal is a dream!! I have worn the Yucatan in Atmosphere/Ice white for years --- very versatile - love the colors - go with everything. Unfortunately, this year I am having an issue with my instep and nothing is working. Hope to be back here soon ordering another Yucatan. Love the fact that the velcro straps are so versatile - very stable walking sandal. And as always - Thank you Zappos!

I give these 4 stars overall because I have only worn them around the house. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Vietnam. I have a herniated disc in my back so want A walking shoe with the best support. The molded bottom feels supportive but not super cushy. I am hoping the relative firmness of the sole will ultimately be a good thing. I got the light brown and think they look pretty good but are definitely a sporty casual shoe. For the money, I am expecting no blisters and no sore feet! True to size. I am about a 7.5 in almost all shoes and the 38 fits great.

This is an attractive and well made sandal. The curve and the material used for the sole did not provide the comfort I was hoping for.

I recently had TWO knee replacements and am learning to walk again! I needed lots of support in a sandal. This does a good job. One of my feet tends to pronate now and I do wish there was a bit more arch support on the inside of the foot.

I love these sandals. This is my third pair. I wear them everywhere and love them for travel. The only reason to replace them and the only negative is that they smell badly after a year or so of wear. When I received them, I noticed that the footbed has a petroleum smell and I let them bake in the sun before wearing. It would be great if they could do something about this issue.

This sandal wasn't for me. I found it stiff and quite expensive. I have rockport and clarks which I like better than these and they are a better buy.

Great shoes! I live in them - at home, out, all the time. It took a day to break in the back strap that rests at the inner foot. I don't normally keep anything that requires breaking in, but I could tell these were the ones. And I had been looking a *long* time - since my Mephisto Allrounder were discontinued two years ago and none of their others were comfortable. They're also not ugly, as I'd thought they would be. They're not big and bulky, and they look good with most anything. Other sporty shoes can't be worn even with cropped pants. I bought the black, which I think helps them look more neutral and less as though they're only for sport. For hiking, I would still turn to sneakers for true support, but for not walking "off-road," these can go miles. Wish list: They should be machine washable. And they could be just a bit cushier — more height between foot and ground.
