Loved the look and functionality of these, but not enough arch support for me, unfortunately. Back to Zappos they go. The iridescent color is super cool!

These sandals just didn't work for me. No way to adjust width, velcro strap doesn't work for that.

I was looking forward to getting these shoes after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the arch support is placed too far back on the footbed for my foot, so I couldn't wear them. I had never had this happen before. I normally wear a 9 - 9-1/2 and ordered this size and the length was fine. I was afraid the 10 would be too long. Otherwise, they are extremely well made, light weight and stylish for this type of shoe. Just didn't work for my feet :(

Love this sandal! I have multiple pairs in all colors. Comfortable and good support. However, a bit disappointed with this shipment - that’s why only 4 stars. The shoes in their box were poorly packaged; apparently a prior return. First time this has happened to me with Zappos.

I wear a 39 regular Birkenstock. This shoe was too narrow. I found the men's Yucatan in 40 was perfect. Colors are not feminine, but my feet are happy!

I like the good arch support and the comfortable rounded edges of the straps. I once was Teva devotee until they went to sharp edges on their straps so I am very happy to find that Ecco sandals have rounded strap edges. The Yucatan Sandal is rugged and seems built to last. I choose the Iridescent color to change it up a bit. I wish these shoes came in a wide width. My concern about the ECCO Yucatan Sandal is that the width across the toes may not be wide enough for my feet. My style complaint is regarding strap adjustment. These shoes are supposed to be adjustable across the toe area but the solid band across that area is a fixed width and does not expand....if you wanted to cinch the area tighter you could adjust it to a little narrower. I have had great luck with other ECCO styles so I'm going to hope for the best.

I have been buying Ecco sports Yucatan for years....for some reason, these don't "feel" like my others....they seem not as heavy duty as my other ones. Maybe they just need to broken in!

This is my third pair of yucatan sandals. I love them. The fit was excellent. I have bunions, and the top strap seems to rub on these a little, but I think if I loosen that strap, they will be fine. The arch seems higher than my previous sandals, but it may be my imagination. I really love them.

I'm always looking for sturdy, comfortable footwear for my hard-to-fit feet and am usually unsuccessful. I first bought the Ecco Yucatan sandal at a shoe store a few years ago and was happily surprised at the fit and comfort. When it came time to buy a new pair I decided to look on Zappos.com and couldn't believe all the colors available! It was hard to select the "right" color but I went with Birch. Out of the box the new sandals fit just as if I'd worn them for months. It is nice to find shoewear to order on line with confidence.

These were too uncomfortable for me. I have a real problem with shoes. I couldn’t bend my right foot without pain.

This is my third pair of this sandal. This time the back strap does not sit as well as in previous versions but otherwise, I really found them comfortable. Not the most stylish, but great for walking and hiking, especially in warm weather.

My previous ECCO sandals had much better arch support than these do. Also, they didn't have the long toe; it's almost as if ECCO is trying to replicate the pointy toes of dress shoes with the sole of these - they made my squared off toes look absolutely silly. That said, the bright red of these sandals was lovely, and I am sorry to be returning them. Returning for better arch support and less silly-looking sandals.

This is my 4th pair of these and I always had size 39, that fit perfectly. The 39 I just received is a full size too big!

I’ve been wanting to try these for awhile. I am between a 9.5-10 on the narrow side. The width was great. I ended up buying a size 40 which fits one fort great and the other feels a tinge short. But the 41 just felt a tad long on both feet. Not the fault of the shoe but my feet! I appreciate Zappos generous return policy.

Loved this sandal, felt great right out of the box, except for one thing. Jusst on the inside of the andle, there is a slight gap between the 2 andkle pieces. On one of the shoes, there was an overlapping piecce that padded this gap. On the other shoe, the overlap piece wasn't long enough, so it just rubbed there. I loved everything about this shoe except for that. Decided I couldn't risk not getting used to it.

This is the second pair I have purchased. The first was in a store (gold leather). Bought a more casual color. Same shoe I purchased in store 2 years ago. Same size. Wonderful shoe especially when your physical problems give you little choice on what to buy.

I have a narrow foot so these sandals are a bit wide for me. I like the extra support. They look at tad geeky but comfort first!

I had a pair of Ecco active sandals for ten years and my dog recently ate them (wish that was a joke). I wanted to love this shoe, but I should have stuck to my gut and ordered a men's style. Even the women's 12 (I typically wear an 11W) was narrow for me, though the length was perfect. The toe box was too tight on my little toe and I knew it would hurt for long distance. If you have a medium width foot, you'll be fine. Also, the color is a metallic plum...not what I was expecting at all (not stylish). Hoping my next pair comes on Monday morning in time for our State Fair!

I would have kept these if the shoes inside the box matched the description and the label on the box but they were the wrong color completely. Whoopsie!

I have been wearing Vionic Tides for my 3 mile walks on sidewalks and bike trails. Wanted more stability & know several seniors who walked the Camino in Ecco Yucatans. On the smallest settings they hug my 7.5M feet. More arch support for an over pronator in the Tides. I felt every heel strike contact with the sidewalk unlike the cushioned strike in my Tides. Overall comfort was great and I like the printed black style. Will try the walk again since it could just be different muscles being worked.

Beautifully made sport sandal. Arch and back support are amazing. Very comfortable for walking even on rough terrain. Right foot feels a little snug across the front of the foot so I hope it will stretch. Love the wine and black color combination.

I am debating about returning them because the color in the photo does not match the color I received. I have an old pair of Ecco Yucatan sandals in Chili Red. I ordered the Morillo/Port because it appeared to have a more purplish shade but they are almost the identical color as my old ones. I am very disappointed that the photograph was not a true color.

These looked nice in picture and in person, but they seemed to run small and narrow. I have a regular size 11 foot, and my toes touched the front edge and the shoes felt as if they were squeezing my feet. Had to return.

These sandals were highly recommended to me by a friend after hearing my tale of woe about not being able to find a suitable walking shoe for an upcoming trip to Switzerland. She reported that she wore them on her recent trip to Europe and loved them. My issues are several: plantar fasciitis, arthritic big toe joint, over pronation, and hip/ back/walking problems. I had ordered at least a dozen pair of shoes from Zappos, all of which had to be returned --much to my disappointment and frustration. I have worn these sandals ( color --Atmosphere/Ice White) a few times since receiving them and they seem like they will work. I chose these colors because of the need for flexibility with different outfits. The support seems quite good and the Velcro straps are a huge plus, especially given my arthritic toe joint. I will be wearing them on an upcoming 2-week trip to Switzerland and will report on how they worked after I return; I am optimistic they will meet my needs of cushioning for the plantar fasciitis and firmness for stability in my walking. I have only given 4 stars since I don't know how my feet will do on the trip. I might note that I just noticed that my husband has the men's version of this shoe, has been comfortably wearing them for a few years, and has been very satisfied with them.
