In 2007, just before my husband to-be and I were doing some last minute shopping for our wedding at the mall. With feet hurting and getting tired - we saw a shoe store with the Ecco offroad Yucatan sandal in the window. We stopped in and tried these sandals on -- it's the first time in my life that I ever put on a pair of shoes and didn't want to take them off! And I hate wearing shoes of any kind. Love being bare-foot. Had to have them! They are so comfortable, good support, adjustable. My feet, legs and lower back don't hurt. And I've worked retail for 30 years. And, when you live in Arizona - where you live in sandals 364 days out-of-the year - you want something good & comfortable. Love them! I recommend these sandals to all of my friends. You won't be sorry!

My favorite sandal! Super comfortable and durable, and I walk several miles most days. I had a tan pair and liked them so much I ordered it in black.

A good quality rugged shoe but I had to return it. I don't pronate (roll in), am a neutral walker, and there was too much arch support and in the wrong place. It hurt. I also was looking for a light colored sandal but on my foot the ivory/white model looked like a black shoe with some light accents. A small style issue was that the front cross strap is cut at an odd angle and was covering too much of my toes. I went back to my old standby and bought a Teva.

After seeing someone in work with these shoes and finding out that everyone in Denver was wearing them as well, I decided to order a pair. I'm glad I did!

This is a great fitting shoe and is very comfortable. In fact, it's my second pair of the tan/black combo. I wore the first pair for several years before it finally broke. I also have a pair that is red with black trim. I use this shoe as my summer walking shoe instead of tennies. Easy to adjust to accommodate various foot issues such as my bunion. I would highly recommend.

The best, most supportive, most comfortable walking and hiking sandal ever. Even works well on my very narrow foot. Perfectly comfortable right out of the box. Good cushioning for my arthritic knees. Great for hiking on rough mountain trails. Had intended to use these only for outdoor walking & hiking, but they are so comfortable and provide so much support that I now wear them almost everywhere. An outstanding sandal on every level.

I find them very comfortable for shopping, wearing around the house, and for anything I need to do. I do not wear mine to do work in my flowers. I thought they were expensive, but I think that they are worth the money.

These are great shoes. I wear a 10-1/2 AAA, so it is hard to find shoes that fit me - most brands aren't even made in my size. With the straps I can adjust these shoes to fit me - that velcro strap around the heel is crucial. I wear them all day every day with no pain and no slipping and sliding of the shoe. I actually forget I have them on!

I bought the atmosphere/ice white/black sandals. The color is beige like it looks with a little pink on it, which I like. They are not as clunky as I thought they would be, so I am pleasantly surprised with their appearance. I bought them for vacation and dog walking which they are perfect for both. They have very nice cushioning and are great on all terrain. I would not wear them with dresses, not even casual ones, but they are fine for what I purchased them for. I will be sad when sandal season is over as they are more comfortable than my athletic shoes!

These sandals were comfortable and wearable for the entire day right out of the box. Eccos are very well made shoes and Zappos service was perfect, as usual.

The most comfortable sandal on the planet! I actually wear these in place of golf shoes on the course. Have them in 3 colors!

Zappos is the best! I have bought shoes several times for myself and as gifts. Always arrive on time, always exactly what I ordered. Love to see the Zappos box on the porch when I get home from work.

I absolutely love these sandals! They keep my problem feet cushioned, comfortable and supported (high arches and all) in 105F. What's even better is the Yucatan's 3 adjustment straps that give each foot a custom fit. They aren't clunky and look great with jeans, shorts and khakis. I got the neutral color and it looks more like a lite stone than a warm khaki.) Overall, this is one sandal that I can't recommend enough!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned (and I have a lot of shoes). Even better, they are far more flattering and cute on than most shoes that look like these. Trust me - very cute on and they do not make your foot look wide. I wish they made them in even more colors; and I hope they have not discontinued this style. They are true to size. I wear mostly 7.5 but sometime an 8 and the 7.5 was perfect.

This is my 2nd pair of Ecco Yucatan Sandals. I bought both pairs for trips to Disney World which involves a great deal of walking. They are perfect for walking! Each time I bought a pair I was able to use them right out of the box-no break-in time involved! I also wear a wide shoe and had no problem with the fit of these shoes since they have adjustable Velcro bands at the toes, heels and ankles! Love them!

I love these sandals. I now have two pair. I heard they may not be making them anymore. I love how quick Zappos service is and the free shipping. Great job Zappos!

Love these sandals. I have had metatarsal pain and this type of sandal takes the pressure off of that problem area. My friend told me about the Ecco Performance line and I am so glad she did.

The most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. I have wide feet from years of walking barefoot. After purchasing my first pair of Ecco last summer, I became a fan. I recently had both of my knees replaced and they still offer me the support I need. The price is worth the comfort and quality of this shoe. I ordered another pair for this Summer. One for everyday and new ones for going out!

I just ordered a new pair of Yucatan Sandal although the ones I have been walking comfortably on for 2 years are still in excellent condition. I just was afraid they might discontinue making them. I have a skin reaction to leather which makes it very difficult to wear any type of shoes without socks. I assume that it is the soft lining of the shoe that has solved my problem. I can live in these shoes. They are so comfortable. I walk 2 or 3 miles every day and, after 2 years, they are still in excellent condition.

I just love these shoes. They felt great as soon as you put them on. The only thing is they are a lighter color, not the color as shown for the bison color. I can wear them all day. The adjustable 3 straps make it more comfortable for your feet.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn--right out of the box! I will buy another pair immediately. Too bad they aren't more dressy!

After trying numerous hiking/active sandals, I have been delighted with the Ecco Yucatan Sandal. I wore them on a two week vacation, walking miles over a variety of terrain -- from city streets to crumbling ruins to scrambling up hillsides. These sandals are very comfortable from first wearing, are super supportive, and they look good enough to wear out for dinner. Definitely worth the price!

I bought them in black so they would go with just about anything. I put the sandals on right out of the box and I don't think I will need any time to break them in since they feel comfortable already. My husband likes the style so much that he is considering them to replace his old but comfortable Clarks.
