I love these sandals!

These shoes were a perfect fit - until my feet began to swell later in the day in hot weather. Then I realized that the 3 adjustable straps are actually 2! The crucial one over the toes can be cinched tighter but does not loosen up. The fabric lining beneath the leather adds to comfort and non-chafing, but it keeps the strap from having any give or adjustment options like the other straps have. Sadly, sadly I had to send them back. :(

this is my 4th pair. I use them for travel, and walking in the summer. Not suitable for steep hiking, but fine for most walking. Comfortable, and i have never gotten a blister or rough spot on my feet in years. After about 300 miles, just like a trainer shoe, they lose a little push back on the arch area. style wise, well they are what they are. good looking for a sports sandal, clunky for dining out. Not expensive for what you get; feet that do not hurt.

Like several other reviewers, I have a number of foot problems (bunion, plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma) and have not been able to find comfortable sandals for years. I love love love these Ecco Yucatans. I had them on for an entire day when I first got them and literally forgot they were on my feet! They are adjustable three ways and cover the really ugly part of my bunion without pressing on it. The insides of the straps are soft and don't rub. I am so happy with these shoes. Highly recommend for anyone with foot issues.

These are great shoes. Very sturdy and supportive like a tennis shoe. Unfortunately the arch support wasn't quite high enough for me. With my plantar fasciitis and high arches, I have to have higher arch supports.

I love these Ecco Yucatan sandals so much that I have 3 pair. Comfort and great support are definitely priorities, and these have it all. I have a neuroma and these are the only shoes/sandals I wear all summer. Love the sandals, and love Zappos service. Never a problem with returns and refunds! Thank you, Zappos!

These are definitely the most comfortable sandals! very durable and reliable. I purchased these for vacation and did not have to worry about breaking or tearing. They do not have a lot of arch support, but I do have very high arches and these are sandals, so not a big deal.

Just got these, and they feel quite comfortable. The inner surfaces are covered in a soft fabric, eliminating abrasion. The velcro straps allow a lot of room for adjustment. The foot bed is shaped for the foot with an excellent arch support. They look cute, too. Unfortunately, they are a half-size too large for me, but the straps can't tighten any further, and it's the smallest they have. I'll keep them, in the hope that my feet will expand a bit in the summer. If they had fit perfectly, I'd probably love them.

Great sandal, I was looking for something I could wear that would not rub and bruise my tender feet. I have thin skin and high arches so most of the sandals on the market kill my feet. These have great lining and the straps are adjustable so I have a perfect fit. I use orthotics for arch support.

I really wanted to keep these, but they just don't fit my feet right. The instep/arch support spot hits my foot wrong and it hurts. The shoes are just a tad too short. They are very well made, and the "wet suit" material lining the straps makes them so comfy. But alas, my search for the perfect sporty sandal must continue. I am getting discouraged, as this is probably the 10th shoe I've tried so far.

This is the third pair of these Ecco sandals for me. I have a narrow foot, and have a hard time finding sandals that are comfortable and don't rub my feet because they are loose. These sandals only come in medium, but they can be adjusted across the toe, around the heel and across the top. They have very good cushioning in the whole foot bed and especially in the heel. I wore my first pair all over New England on vacation three years ago, and they are still comfortable! Great with or without socks, too.

Comfort. I have the most sensitive feet with high arches and these were wonderful from the moment I put them on. Sometimes Ecco can run large, but these were true to size.

My toes were being battered by my sneakers...I walk for exercise and a part of my walk takes me downhill. Buying a half size sneaker did not help. The first day I wore these, I did not wear with socks. Got a blister by my big toe. Wore it a second time and every time since then with socks. No problems. No pain. I wear a size 11. Fits perfectly. Leaves a black stain on my socks where the straps are.

I have a pair of Ecco shoes from 9 years ago that I love, so have been waiting for a similar pair to come out. These are also comfortable, although the footbed not as soft as my old ones, so I gave it a 4. The neoprene lining used towards the skin is always comfortable even if feet sweat. I wear a size 5 shoe and have learned to order a size 35 in European sizes, although Ecco says size 5 is a 36. The 35 is perfect and the felt true to size references a size 35 for a size 5 shoe. Well worth the price.

This Ecco sandal is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I recently had a R knee replacement & I had to find a shoe that was both comfortable & provided maximum support -- this Esso Yucatan shoe.

Love these shoes. I haven't have heel problems in a few years because of these shoes. I tried other sandals but I ended up just reordering these because they just work for me feet.

This is my everyday sandal for the Summer to replace my sneakers. It's very comfortable, durable, not beautiful but practical. This is my second pair and would recommend this sandal for people with sensitive feet, bad backs or anyone that wants something rugged for walking. My first pair is 4 years old and they are still very wearable, just a bit tired and well loved.

I've been looking for a new hiking sandal to replace a perfect shoe made by Bite who is apparently out of business. Had almost given up on finding a pair comfortable yet sturdy enough for hiking after trying Keen, Teva and Columbia but then Ecco entered my life. They cost a bit more than I wanted to spend but the maxim about getting what you pay for was spot on in this case. They are also cute enough to wear off the trail.

I've had two pair for about three years. Since I live in sunny Santa Barbara I can wear them about 90% of the year, and I do. Great arch support for my flat feet and all around comfort. Will purchase another pair shortly Chuck

I have been looking for the perfect sandals for an upcoming trip to Greece. I know we will be doing a lot of walking and I do not my shoes to slow us down. I just got these today and can already tell they are perfect. They fit like a glove and will the first pair of shoes that I pack.

These are fabulous shoes for walking. If you have knee, back or hip problems I would recommend them. Velcro means you can adjust them to fit skinny feet.

I bought this sandal after making comparisons online shortly before my trip to France in May. They came on time, I wore them for two weeks in Provence while drawing and painting, and I am home and still wearing them -- now that is the sign of of good shoe: sturdy, comfortable, wear forever!

I found this sandal by searching by highest ratings on Zappos. It really worked! I had returned 2 other sandals to a different company because they looked good but did not fit well. This sandal has 3 adjustment points which really help with fit. They are very cushioned and look better on the foot than they do in the picture. I wish they came in Navy however.

This is the second pair of Ecco Yucutan sandals I've bought (already have the tan ones). It's virtually impossible to wear them out. Super comfortable. Good for casual wear, hiking and water.

Absolutely, hands down, these are the most comfortable shoes ever! I had surgery last year on my Achilles Tendon, and have been having trouble with my shoes being uncomfortable for walking...well no more! Went to Albuquerque this weekend, climbed stairs, walked all over town with no pain whatsoever. Maybe a little pricey, but worth every single penny. I will be telling everyone about these shoes for a long time. Bought a second pair too!
