I already had a pair from 12 or more years ago in the brown but when I saw the anniversary pair and the amazing colors, I knew it was time to update my walking shoes. I have had more than 5 foot surgeries going back more than 20 years. I wore my brand new pair of all the pretty colors all day today shopping. I always have sore feet after I am on them for as long as I was gone today, but I have to say the pain was minimal and that is saying something. They fit great, look cute with cute clothes. I love them. I even advertised on my Facebook page how great they are.

This Ecco sandal is very comfortable and gives my feet good support. I wore my first pair for two years, including trips in Europe that required a lot of walking. My first pair were 40 cm/US size 9-9.5; my regular size is 9.5. Although they were comfortable, I noticed my toes were at the very edge of the sandal. My new pair are size 41cm/US size 10-10.5 which gives my toes a little extra wiggle room.I recommend these for walking on paved streets, on long tours or just for quick trips to run errands. Little or no breaking-in time required.

I have to admit it. These are the most functional, incredible, ugliest shoes that I have ever loved! I am not a rugged sports sandal type. But these were , hands down, one of the best purchases I have ever made, not cheap, and worth every dime. I was traveling (back) to Bali after many years, I bought these on impulse, knowing the terrain and weather could be unpredictable (I was not doing the club circuit). I brought a few other, much cooler flats. I never took these off. In all weather, wet, uneven terrain, concrete, rice paddies. Never took them off. They are solid, awesome in all elements, I did walking them to an event, put on dressy sandals, and changed for the walk/ride home via moto taxi. I have never bought shoes or sandals like this before, just not my thing. And, I am a traveler, not a tour bus type. I just have to say, these were so exceptional, I was able to walk everywhere, any weather, comfortably, securely (in rain) and on uneven pavement, downhill. I did not care what they looked like, because they gave me a gift. Full on mobility, anywhere, any time. Totally worth it.

I bought these for a trip to S.A. where water may be an issue. They are very comfortable for my narrow foot, with adjustable straps, a fairly good arch support and look well made. I look forward to using them.

These are the first shoes that have saved my foot. I have suffered with Plantar for 3 years. When the Doctor decided to put me in a boot the boot caused a bone spur on the top of my foot. This caused numbness and great pain in my foot. I could not wear regular shoes anymore. I needed a shoe that would help with the Plantar and not cover the top of my foot so it would not rub on the bone spur. This shoe did it. I love them so much my Plantar is 75% better I can walk for longer then 5 minutes at a time. I wish it was not raining here in Southern California because this is the only shoe I can wear without pain. so I have wet feet. But I would have this as a inconvenience any day as oppose to the pain of Plantar and bone spurs. Thank you to the man who worked with me for almost an hour helping me find the perfect shoe.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have owned. I have plantar fasciitis, narrow heel, a low volume foot, and an arch that is definitely different from the norm. Finding shoes to meet all those needs is tough. I eventually took a hammer and hammered on the one spot in the arch on one foot that seemed too high, and that corrected the problem. For those with a low volume foot, you CAN take these to a shoe guy and have the strap shortened and the Velcro repositioned slightly. if you have a sewing machine and just a little skill you can make this adjustment yourself. I've been wearing New Balance 993's almost exclusively until I found these sandals. My feet and knees are doing much better wearing the sandals than they did with the New Balance.

The front part was little bit tight in the beginning. But after couple of wears, they are all comfortable. They look sturdy.

Very comfortable. I wore these almost every day while I toured through India. So glad I purchased these great walking shoes!

I love Ecco sandals. I ordered a pair because friends had them and they all told me their sandals/shoes were very comfortable, sturdy,stylish, and reasonably priced. I agree with my friends' comments. Unfortunately, my feet are small and narrow. I wish the pair I ordered were a true size 4 or that ECCO made children's sandals.Anyway relative to my feet the sandals are a bit loose. Still I like the sandals which is why I still have them. I'm torn between wearing or exchanging them for one that fits me better. I wish I had wider feet.Can you recommend something that will fit my feet better? Please email me back if/when convenient for you. I'd appreciate it very much.

Love, love, love this footwear. Do not know why I waited so long to replace the pair I've worn for years. And now in purple - I am loving my sandals. Perfect fit, perfect comfort.

I am not the only person who loves this shoe. I just saw UK music legend Joan Armatrading in concert last night wearing these sandals (in her trademark black color) on stage. These shoes rock!

Love these sandals. I needed sandals for a trip and it was past sandal season in my area, so it was Zappos to the rescue! I bought and returned about 15 sandals before deciding these were the ones. I took 3 pairs of shoes on my trip to Africa, and these Ecco Yucatan sandals were on my feet almost the whole time, I could have left the others at home. Good support, easy on/off, great fit. I normally wear an 8.5/9 depending on brand, and in this sandal I bought size 40, fit just fine.

These are great. Feel like tennis shoes. Although there doesn't appear to be an arch support -- the shoe feels like it has one.

Zappos did it again! I ordered Ecco Sport Yucatan Sandal and the next day it arrived!I would highly recommend this product because of the comfort and the kind of problems I have with my both feet (plantar fasciitis ). I made the right decision to buy this kind of sandals and it's worth for the money I paid for...

Very comfortable foot pad, these sandals are much sleeker looking than pictured. I hope to be able to use them for summer hikes.

This is a very comfortable casual sandal. I've seen other reviews write that you can wear it with dresses, etc. but it is too clunky looking for me to wear in anything other than a casual dress manner. There is medium arch support but far better than one gets with most sandals. I like that the ankle strap can be tightened in a number of ways as this also helps with support for a long day of walking.

I wore this shoe for almost five years before having to replace it. It is a great walking sandal and provides much support and comfort.

I were these on a hiking trip in Croatia over a number of different surfaces, including loose rock. They were super comfortable and provided great traction. The bonus was that they are attractive (I got them in black). I got compliments from my fellow travellers. I saw some other reviews complaining about odor, but I did not experience that. I highly recommend these shoes for hiking as well as casual walking

I am buying my third pair of this exact model today. They are the best walking shoes that I have ever owned. They are my go to shoe for European vacations and all the walking. I enjoy them equally at home. They are not the cutest sandals but they are the best for anyone with bad feet who does not want to be slowed down.

I love these sandals. It is hard for me to find comfortable shoes that look good too! But, these are stylish, attractive and very comfortable. There are three adjustable straps making it easy to fit for comfort.

I got these sandals because earlier reviewers said they ran narrow, and I have a narrow foot. They were comfortable right out of the box, and stayed comfortable for the whole day. The only part that is taking some adjustment is the ankle strap, but it's still an extremely comfortable sandal. I love it!

Treat your feet and buy this shoe! Zowie! I always wanted a great fitting sandal for tons of walking, with an athletic edge. I needed one for the anticipated 12 hour days walking at The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. I was looking at another sandal, but then saw how ugly it looked on the lady in the video and could not bring myself to buy it! Then I saw this one and almost fainted at the price. At first I was going to buy it online with Nordstrom's, as one color was steeply discounted for their 1/2 yearly sale. However, when they could not deliver in enough time for me to try it and possibly return before leaving for my trip to San Diego, I could not do it. I ended up buying it with Zappos, with awesome customer service, as per usual, delivered in 1 business day; and they totally fit. Thank goodness. However, even if they didn't, I had enough time to return them for another size. I bought a size 40, and usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9. So, after seven consecutive days walking 10-12 hours at The SD Zoo, Safari Park, Botanical Garden, Balboa Park and more, my feet, after 12 hours walking felt 0 pain. My feet felt fantastic. At one point, I couldn't believe my feet and kind of bounced up and down in the sandals in disbelief! With three different velcro adjustments, your foot will always feel secure enough to walk fast, if desired, and comfortable as well. My left foot is slightly bigger than my right and I was able to adjust the velcro for a looser fit on my left and tighter on my right. I have two fabulously comfy tennis shoes (for walking), yet these possibly surpass them in comfort. Simply amazing. I never thought they would be this amazing. One caveat...they make my leg look a bit fatter than normal, and I feel a bit like a grandma (not the most stylish) from outer space (the silver) when looking at my legs. However, that is just how outstanding they are in fit and comfort. I actually am willing to overlook the other style issues! I also could rinse them in the tub when dusty. Love them! Six stars for all comfort categories!

Love these sandals! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have a narrow foot and finding a proper fitting shoe can be difficult. The adjustable straps remedied that problem. Like the previous reviews stated, they do run on the small size, so I ordered a size larger.
